Location, location, location
Beautiful beach setting with plenty of sand and surf. Every day was picture perfect. Bring your fly repellent because the sand flies can be aggressive at certain times. The boathouse deck is a great alternative to the beach to get away from the heat and sun. We brought our own comfortable folding chairs, but there’s also plenty of outdoor seating provided.
The cabin was a bit rustic, with very small bedrooms and no closets. The bathroom is really a single with
a hallway through the middle. One side is a half bath, the other houses a really nice corner shower & small sink area. This cabin is perfect for a couple with children. The open kitchen, dining and living room is the best paet of the cabin. Spacious with a vaulted ceiling throughout. The kitchen is on one end and a stone wood burning fireplace on the other. The kitchen was very functional and nicely appointed except most of the dishes were not microwaveable. The WiFi was weak, no TV streaming, but they are working to improve that in the area. Our phones worked fine, but we unplugged for the most part.
The owners provided plenty of wood for beach campfires.
Overall It was a relaxing weekend for our party of two senior couples.
