Dalzie Apartment, Peinmore House

Dalzie apartment is in the wing of a former manse built in 1809. It was upgraded with the idea of making any guest feel exceptionally comfortable.
There are all the modern accessories you might expect to be self contained. Fully integrated kitchen which is open plan to the living room with comfortable room for dining.
There is even a piano along one of the walls!
There is plenty of parking and you are in a great location to be able to explore all the Island has to offer.
The bathroom is considerable in size, with separate shower and bath, room enough to relax.
We regularly get feedback that people sleep in the bed as well or if not better than their own beds!
The manse it's self has a walled garden with a little "burn" (stream) in it and there is a feeling of tranquility about.
Come and sample it, we would love you to have a delightful visit to Skye and Dalzie will certainly help with that.

Dalzie exceeded expectations and had everything we could possibly need and more for our stay. It’s conveniently located just 5 minutes or less from Portree town centre and has lovely views across the water and hillside. Would highly recommend dalzie for anyone looking for a spacious place to stay while in Skye that’s nearby everything and provides all the amenities, space and comfort you would need.

Cosy and peaceful
I had a wonderful 5 night stay at Dalzie. It was cosy, clean, comfortable, peaceful and had absolutely everything you could need for a stay. Even though the property location is quiet and tranquil - it's only a 5 minute drive to Portree, so it's the best of both worlds! Great property, wonderful hosts. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Adorable cottage and wonderful hideaway
This property will not disappoint, from the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome with the lamps on, plus the heating, it gives you a big hug as you walk down the hallway. So many little details make this cottage so adorable with the artwork everywhere, a bottle of wine on the table, cushions and bed linen and not to mention the courtyard and colourful flowers. The birds and the sheep also add to the atmosphere of this beautiful accommodation. We loved the time we spent here and would definitely come back if we returned to Skye.

Wonderful place to stay as a base to visit Skye.
The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience.

Fabulous home away from home
This property is fabulous. It had everything we needed and then some. The bed was so comfortable. Handy to everything eg Fairy Glen, Fairy Pools and Dunvegan Castle. We would definitely come here again.

Great Apartment!
The apartment was perfect! Loved the quiet location. The only problem we had was communication with the manager. Which was none. We stayed there the end of May and I had been trying to reach someone since February! I was trying to cancel one night, but couldn't get anyone to respond to me. I emailed, as did VRBO. We also made phone calls through VRBO, but received no response. I did receive one message from the manager right before our stay saying she didn't see that we had a reservation! I wasn't sure I would have a place to stay once we arrived, but it was available. I spoke with the ex manager who was staying onsight and FINALLY through his help was able to get back my money on that one night we cancelled. Management needs to step it up on communication!

Fantastic Stay
As we settled in on the first night of our stay, we both said “ we could live here!” Wonderful apartment. Super comfortable and a huge bathroom with wonderful water pressure. Best shower in Scotland! Worth every penny.
