Pickmere Country House is a Georgian grade ll listed building dating back to 1772, originally built as a farmhouse, it was the largest of its kind in Cheshire. Commanding picturesque views over the surrounding countryside the small family-run hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Pickmere.
Full English breakfast is included in the price. We are fully licensed selling a selection of wines and also beers from a local micro brewery. There is a pub within easy walking distance and also some great pubs and restaurants all within an 8 minute drive.
We are situated just 8 minutes drive from Knutsford and 6 minutes from Northwich and because of our proximity to Warrington, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester is ideally placed for both business and leisure. We are a 4 minutes drive from M6 junction 19, 10 minutes from M56 junction 10, 20 minutes from Manchester Airport and convenient for Radbroke Hall, Booths Hall, Birchwood, Daresbury and Gadbrook Park Business Parks. There is off road car parking and bicycles can be housed securely.
We have 7 en suite bedrooms. 4 bedrooms are superior doubles with king size beds, 1 superior twin/double room, 1 family room with a king size and 3 single beds, 1 king size standard room in the garden annex (suitable for guests with dogs and for those not wishing to climb the stairs). Free wifi available throughout the house.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 to 9.00 Monday to Friday and 8.30 to 10.00 Saturday and Sunday in our dining room. We offer a full English breakfast and lighter options. There is also a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, toast, tea and coffee. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and special diets.
The guest lounge has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with free view channels, a small library, a piano, children's’ toys, card and board games and a gas burning log fire.
The small garden has a south facing terrace where guests can sit out in the summer and enjoy a pot of tea, a glass of Pimms or Prosecco.
