The neighborhood is great and the location was central to everything we wanted to do in Atlanta. The house and property haven’t been updated in quite a while. Things were clean, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable, the shower had a grungy non-slip mat, and the main smoke-detector was disabled.
This cute house has a very cool yard with interesting plants everywhere. It's in an incredible location handy to everywhere we wanted to visit. Easy walk to a coffee shop and a park!
Had a lovely stay. Super easy location to get to the conference center (15 min drive) and a delightful refuge in the evening. We would stay again! The house is a little more overgrown in the winter than the summer picture suggests, but that was minor.
The house was everything described. The yard was beautiful (although covered in snow while we were there!). All of the amenities one could need were there. Check in was easy. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. There are a few restaurants/coffee shop within a 4 block walk which was great. I'd definitely stay again!
Our friends stayed here while in town for a visit. They loved this little cottage and the gardens surrounding it giving it high marks in all areas. Before leaving they mentioned that the next time they come to town they want to stay there again.
The house itself is great, but the real star of this listing is the property and location. It is super private because of the way the lot is positioned. The outdoor areas are amazing. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay at this delightful and cozy home in a beautiful neighborhood in Decatur near Atlanta. The sights in Atlanta. were easy to get to from this location and we had no problem driving to the zoo, downtown and aquarium from the house. The screened-in porch off the kitchen was a favorite spot and we spent most of our time there while at the house.
The pictures of the house look nice but when I got there, everything was overgrown and I drove past the house because I didn't recognize it from the photos. The inside was different too, some of the furniture didn't match the photos and everything was generally more cluttered. I felt like I was staying in a home that was actively being lived in if that makes sense. There was a missing cabinet door in the kitchen. The bathtub looked kind of dirty. The bed was comfortable and felt clean. One thing I did not like was that they requested the house be kept at 74 degrees, I may not have booked the listing had I known. I'm from the north so 74 is hot to me. If you turn it down, it'll automatically go back to 74 or even 76 sometimes making it hard to sleep. I understand keeping at 74 when away, which we did, but when occupying the house, 74 is too warm for me. The location is fine, it's a nice area and you can drive to the metro and take the train into Atlanta, all of that is easy access and easy to do from this location.
For my first Vrbo experience, this was a great one! This place was perfect for our needs. It was in a great area and quiet, as I had to work offsite for most of the week while my son attended camp. The house was charming and well equipped for our needs. Love the gardens! Host was very responsive to any of our needs. Will definitely stay there again.
A very nice, well stocked Bungalow. Very comfortable with nice landscaping. It was a good location for getting downtown and to the other locations we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend.
I have never been so comfortable in a rental in my life! We booked for my nephew's graduation and usually we stay with my brother, however, being a blended family, no one stayed with them so we booked this rental. And we are counting down the time until the next one graduates so we can go back! The house is beautifully furnished, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the structure is loaded with charm. But the gardens and the outdoor space really is what made the stay so incredible. It was like a sanctuary. I spent an afternoon on the porch and it was so serene. The house has everything you would need and instructions are clear. Hosts are communicative with any and all questions. Would absolutely recommend!
Beautiful and peaceful sport in Decatur neighborhood. Easy to get around. Good parking. Well appointed. Kitchen had essentials (salt, proper, coffee, etc). Loved the screened porch. Very comfortable. Big soft towels. Lots of foliage for a private experience. Lovely.
The property in Decatur was just what we needed for our trip to Atlanta. The location was centrally positioned for travel to our various locations we had to visit for all wedding party venues. It was a pleasant and comfortable vrbo bungalow. My husband and I were impressed with the size of the property which was additionally enjoyed with my sister and her husband. It felt like home in the house as well as the surrounding neighborhood. A totally enjoyable stay that is recommended to everyone.
This is our 2nd stay in this comfy little house. We came back because it was well kept, clean, quiet, comfortable inside, near our daughter, close to a walk-able neighborhood and community with restaurants and deli-grocery store, has owners who are easy to communicate with and help solve any problems.
The photos and descriptions were all accurate on the site. The kitchen was basic, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, linens were high quality, and the dining and living room were cozy. We look forward to a future stay. Retired Seattle Couple
Gorgeous, older home with both a front and screened in porch for lounging. Beautiful gardens and perfectly located. The owners were extremely communicative and the check in process a breeze. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful peaceful property. We enjoyed staying here very much and hope to come back very soon!

Why they chose this property
We bought this property as the next step in building our dream home. The huge side lot is promising us the ability to have a nice custom home while keeping the existing home to have a small little compound for family and friends.
What makes this property unique
The house is the only one that is positioned on the one block of Gordon Street, keeping the privacy around the home pristine. The current side yard is great for outside relaxing with the two fountains and gardens.
