Reasonable and comfortable stay at St. Moritz. Tom and support staff were very helpful and attentive. Tidy room and great pool with jets. Steam room an A-1 bonus. Coffee and cookies in the lobby and a good basic breakfast with many choices. Great bang for the buck!!
Not fancy, but who needs fancy in this beautiful little town. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything fresh and clean; warm, friendly staff; ideal location.
We will stay here again.
Breakfast was good. Location is awesome. Manager is very nice.

Super location and great staff
The front desk staff was so helpful to us when we checked in. Our hotel room was certainly adequate and the wonderful heated pool was located right outside our room. We enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby and what a great complimentary breakfast If we get back to Aspen, we would for sure like to stay at the St. Mortiz again.
The location, hospitality, and price were perfect. Enjoyed the walk-ability factor with proximity to the business district. The hot pool was amazing after a day on the mountain. Great spot and highly recommend! 5 star Crowbarmagnon rating(local rapper)
My wife and I spent an evening in Aspen. The staff were extremely friendly and communicative. They even offered a happy hour wine for guests in the lobby. It was a wonderful way to start our evening and a great a place rest at the end of it!
Our stay exceeded our expectations; this was a true experience of friendly hospitality at fabulous rates right in the heart of Aspen. The pool was glorious, the hosts were above and beyond, and the place itself was charming. Will definitely return!
Loved our stay! The pool was perfect for kids to burn extra energy. The hotel staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The flowers and quaint hotel reminded me of summers in Europe. I highly recommend. We walked to everything.

What's not to love about this property? The grounds were meticulously maintained with oodles of colorful flowers. The pool was heated to about 90 degrees and spotlessly clean. The staff was warm and helpful. Breakfast and coffee in the morning and wine hour in the afternoon! The ONLY thing missing during our hot June stay was AIR CONDITIONING! Sometime, in the wee hours of the morning, it would get cool enough to sleep comfortably. Air conditioning would have made this review 5 stars!
This was a great choice for a few days in Aspen — chosen for it’s location. That is, I wanted a place that wasn’t in the thick of Aspen-in-the-summer and I got that exactly. Nice quiet hotel at the edge of town in a lovely wooded area of homes. Really peaceful. AND! It was a 10 - 15 minute walk to downtown spots and longer to other destinations. Even longer )by a lot) to the conference facilities at Aspen Meadows. So lots and lots of walking! OK for me, but perhaps not for others.

Clean basic room and convenient
I was pleased with how clean the room was and surprised by how convenient it was to park and get to things. The pool was great and we used the kitchenette to save money on expensive meals in Aspen. Considering we had issues almost daily, it says alot that I would still recommend this hotel. I could tell they cared and were trying to resolve the issues. (They mistakenly cancelled my room before arrival but worked it out... our smoke alarm went off twice and they fixed promptly... the room next door set an alarm clock for 1145 pm that went off for 30 minutes+ two nights in a row??!? We called the office and they entered and unplugged it... the last 2 mornings we were there, the breakfast buffet was slim by 730 am and they were out of basics...the kicker for me was it got above 80 degrees in the room everyday despite me setting the thermostat to 60. I was hot unless I opened the windows and we were right by the pool so I heard the music and noise when I opened windows. I reported it twice and they had different answers... so we ended up heading home a night early .)
We were very very happy with our stay. Fantastic short walking distance to downtown Aspen on a nice day. Breakfast, coffee, wine, and a heated pool were some of the highlights. Things were clean though the toilet did not flush well and some finishes in the room were broken.. that didn't bother us considering the great price!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the St. Moritz! It's a hidden gem that's walking distance to all of the wonderful stores and restaurants in Aspen. I would highly recommend staying here, as I would again!
Great experience. Cool little place with a neat little lobby and beautiful pool/courtyard. Great location to downtown Aspen. Very friendly service.

Place to party
The property felt safe and the landscaping was beautiful. Sadly the room is literally on the pool deck. Lots of guests partying, smoking...felt like they were in the room right with us. Non-stop music. With a heat wave in Aspen and no A/C, our stay here was disappointing.
