Charming and Welcoming Cottage with Amazing Sea View

Imagine the sun shining and you lying in the jacuzzi being massaged by soothing jets of warm water, the mediteranean sea reflecting the sunlight in the far distance, the only other sounds bird-song and the rustling of the breeze in the trees. This is a beautifully furnished house, providing comfort to relax. Situated in the sanctuary of the magnificent Apuan alps, the property is in mountain woodland and yet boasts a stunning view over the coast. Tucked away on the hillside, its position makes it ideal for spending quality time relaxing in total privacy and is very suitable as a honeymoon destination. The heated Jazuzzi and outside spaces are lit to compliment a star lit sky.
This property is perfect for anyone wanting peace and quiet to enjoy nature, listen to music, read books, watch films, spend quality time with a partner, family or friends and have a complete and relaxing break from normal life.

The house is reached by a mountain road, the last 50m of which is unsurfaced. Parking is on this very quiet stretch of road which services only two other properties. From here it is a short walk to the house.
Approached by a stoney woodland path, a short flight of stone steps leads down to the front door. The door opens directly onto the luminous living room, with an original working fireplace and windows with a view of the sea. To the left is a very well-equipped kitchen - dining room. Built onto the mountain side the house is a very light and airy with nothing to obstruct the panoramic view. Turning right after the front door, an original wooden staircase leads to a spacious master bedroom with a fashionable free standing bath and a king size double bed. This room also has an ensuite W.C. The second bedroom has a queen size bed(120cm wide), and there is also a fully equipped shower room on this floor. Both bedrooms look out onto the stunning views of the coastline and mediteranean sea.
Outside the house a large, private, wood decked sun-terrace holds a heated Jacuzzi, sun-loungers, and open air shower near an ancient grotto carved out of the rock. On the terraced garden, two pergolas provide shaded areas with lighting for dining al fresco, and a brick built barbeque.

Ein Traum

A wonderful house in a wonderful landscape. The house was beautiful furnished and looked recently modernised. The view is absolutely amazing and everyone who enjoys silence and nature is absolutely right here. The road to the house is a little exiting, especially in the last view hundred meters. But it is possible to do in a normal car with a little bit of attention. It is not possible to drive to the house, but the parking space is not far from the house. Be aware that you have to drive 20 to 30 minutes till you’re reach the first shops or gas station. The view and the location compensate every minute of it. The owner and manager from the house are really kind and help with tips and locations for the stay.

Einfach bezaubernd!

Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, genau wie in der Beschreibung. Der Weg zum Haus ist lang, allerdings deutlich besser zu befahren als in manchen Bewertung steht. Nichtsdestotrotz die Einkäufe sollten gut überlegt werden. Die Umgebung bietet ausreichend Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, unteranderen Pietrasanta, wo das Essen gehen absolut empfehlenswert. Sowie Sibilla auch Sara waren immer hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus gerne weiter empfehlen.

Mehr Inside Toskana geht nicht

Das Haus ist unfassbar originell und ich glaube so etwas kann man nicht überall buchen. Der alte Berghof liegt ca auf 650 Höhenmeter und ist das vorletzte Haus in den Bergen. Es geht von Camaiore sicherlich 25 Minuten steil die Serpentinen hinaus und am Ende muss man auch noch etwas Schotterweg fahren. Aber es ist unvergleichbar idyllisch und der Blick über das gesamte Tal, bis hin zum Meer ist wunderschön. Aber man muss ehrlich sein: das muss der Gast wollen. Es ist komplett abgeschieden, sehr in der toskanischen Wäldern gelegen und nicht für spontane Entscheidungen. Man lebt nicht nur in der Natur, sondern mit der Natur. Die Managerin war immer zu erreichen, sehr freundlich und kulant. Die Berge haben eine sehr interessante Vergangenheit und Geschichte. Camaiore ist eine tolle kleine Gemeinde mit einer Kulinarischen Meile, wo kein Geschmack unzufrieden bleibt.

Hillside stay

Property is as described. Clean and welcoming. Communication is excellent from both the owner and the housekeeper (thank you!) Would recommend house, but the drive up is very windy but husband got used to it! Coming down hill is much quicker. We visited lots of places by car: Viareggio beach area and marina Nature reserve (big lake) near Viareggio Livorno (smart restaurant on sea front next to naval academy) Pisa (tower, etc) Lucca (wall walk, town and tower) wine tasting at Adamo near Lucca (super friendly) Sant'Anna di Stazzema (short walk from church to memorial/ view point) By car and then train: Florence (Michael Angelo's steps for classic view of Florence, etc) La Spezia for Cinque Terre express (nice restaurant at Corniglia), very busy in summer. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty to do and very varied activities available. Italians were very friendly and helpful wherever we went.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus inmitten von Natur & Ruhe

Unser Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen Haus von Sibilla hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Einmal da, möchte man nirgendwo anders sein. Die Natur, die Ruhe und die Umgebung tragen dazu bei. Egal ob Wanderungen durch den Nationalpark, Ausflüge in kleinere Städte oder was die Umgebung bietet, wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Das sonnige Wetter war die komplette Zeit auf unserer Seite! Morgens aufwachen mit Vogelgezwitscher, wandern mit dem Hund, entspannen im Whirlpool mit Blick aufs Meer und abends bei einem Wein die Ruhe und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Sarah, die Managerin, steht einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Auch wenn die Anfahrt zum Haus wirklich teilweise anspruchsvoll aber machbar war, so war das alles vergessen wenn man auf der Terrasse steht und den Blick schweifen lässt. Im Haus selbst findet man alles was man braucht. Der offene Kamin sorgt in den doch manchmal kühleren Abendstunden für Gemütlichkeit! Die Tage vergingen wie im Flug. Ausflüge nach Pisa oder Florenz, in die Marmorsteinbrüche oder in die kleineren Städte im Tal zum bummeln oder für die Wochenmärkte sind nur empfehlenswert! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Tolles Cottage das in die Jahre gekommen ist

Die Lage und die Aussicht sind ein Traum. Es war sehr ruhig und erholsam. Man sollte keine Angst vor Geckos, Spinnen und anderen Tieren haben, diese sind allgegenwärtig. Dieses Haus liegt wirklich sehr einsam und die Kommentare der anderen Gäste, was die Anfahrt zum Haus betrifft, geben nur unzureichend wieder wie es in Wirklichkeit ist. Die Straße ist wirklich schmal und unübersichtlich und es braucht seine Zeit bis man zu einem Restaurant oder zum Einkaufen kommt. Zum Objekt, es ist so wie auf den Fotos. Nur das nach 15 Jahren Nutzung als Rental, es in allen Bereichen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das kleinere Bett ist total durchgelegen und überall dieser Geruch von Airwick. Mit den meisten Dingen kann man sich arrangieren. Aber was gar nicht geht, ist das Pooldeck. Einige Bretter sind schon gebrochen und mehrere Schrauben stehen bis zu einem Zentimeter nach oben hervor. Unserer Meinung nach, bräuchte die ganze Außenanlage etwas mehr Pflege. Wir mieten jedes Jahr ein Ferienhaus, was wir nicht gewohnt waren ist, dass wir uns um die Poolpflege selbst kümmern mussten und das jeden Tag von Montag bis Samstag ein anderer Müllbehälter zum Sammelplatz (500 Meter) gebracht werden muss. Wir haben unseren Müll mit nach Haus genommen und dann dort entsorgt. Alles in allem war es, trotz der genannten Punkte, ein toller Urlaub,

Tolles Ferienhaus mit Super-Ausblick

Das Ferienhaus ist exakt wie beschrieben: Super Einrichtung mit aller erdenklichen Ausstattung und noch etwas mehr. Im Sommer war es für uns inbesondere angenehm, durch die Höhenlage auf etwas 750m ü.NN. spürbare niedrigere Temperaturen zu haben. Der Ausblick aus dem Haus oder auch vom geschützten Frühstücksplatz ist einfach umwerfend. Interessenten sollten aber unbedingt wissen, dass dies eine jeweils 20min-Fahrt vom Flachland zwischen Viareggio und Pietrasanta hinauf auf den (einsamen) Berg bedeutet und dass es ohne Auto bzw. Fahrzeug auch keine erreichbaren Restaurants in der Nähe gibt. Für unsere Erholung oder auch Bewertung des Ferienhauses ergibt sich daraus aber keinerlei "Punktabzug", Ein besondere Erwähnung verdient in jedem Fall auch die Betreuung des Ferienhauses durch Sarah, die wirklich immer superschnell erreichbar war und auch mit guten Tipps helfen konnte: Danke nochmals, Sarah!

Traumhafte Panoramalage

Beschreibung des Objektes entspricht in der Realität exakt den Angaben. Wir haben ein wunderschönes Haus vorgefunden, das gepflegt und ordentlich war. Die Übergabe durch die Managerin Sarah verliefen problemlos, sehr kompetent und nett. Für alle die, die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit suchen, ist es ein ideales Objekt. Die Anfahrt aufgrund der Angaben der Besitzerin (Koordinaten für das Navi) verlief völlig problemlos und wir konnten das Haus sehr gut finden. Wir haben die Ruhe, den Ausblick, die Abgeschiedenheit und die Natur mehr als zu schätzen gewusst. Nach einem Tag mit Besichtigungen im Umkreis, haben wir den Abend im Whirlpool sehr genossen. Den Einkauf für die Verpflegung haben wir vor dem Rückweg erledigt. Wünschenswert wären Angaben zu ortsansässigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (kleinere Alimentari), um nicht unbedingt in den „Coop“ gehen zu müssen. Insgesamt bewerten wir den Aufenthalt als sehr gut und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Dolce Luna - Ein Sommermärchen

Drei magische Wochen durften wir hier erleben. Zum Entschleunigen ist es genau der richtige Ort. Diese Stille ... morgens vom Zwitschern der Vögel geweckt zu werden, fantastisch. Wir konnten tolle Wanderungen unternehmen. Alles direkt vor der Haustür. Danach relaxen im Whirlpool ... und wieder nur Vogelgezwitscher. Und diese wunderbare Aussicht !! Die Anreise war sehr abenteuerlich. Als wir dann vollgepumpt mit Adrenalin am Cottage ankamen, wurden wir sehr herzlich von Sarah mit Blumen, frischem Obst und Eiern empfangen. Vielen Dank, Sarah, für deine tolle, freundliche und sehr informative Unterstützung. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Schönes kleines Haus im absoluter Einzellage

Liebevoll gestaltetes Haus. Die Bilder geben Haus und Einrichtung sehr gut wieder. Manches ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und könnte überholt werden. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Betreuung durch die Besitzerin und ihre Verwalterin Sara war perfekt. Vielen Dank dafür.

Second time in this lovely hideaway

We love the house up in the hills of Stazzema because it is so peaceful, and from the moment of the warm welcome by Sarah you can start to wind down. Just hanging out on the terrace, reading a book and going on a hike are the perfect way to relax. The interior of the house is cosy and makes us feel at home. It does not feel empty like many other holiday homes we had, were you feel that nobody is living there. In the area are nice restaurants that offer typical tuscan food at very reasonable prices, and small towns like Pietrasanta are worth a visit. We hope to be back soon!

Entspannte Ruhe in perfekter Panoramlage

Der etwas lange Anfahrtsweg ist nach dem ersten Ausblick vergessen. Das Haus ist sehr stylisch ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt gemütliche Ecken drinnen wie draußen. Sarah war immer ansprechbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sicher wieder :)

Raus aus dem Alltag

Wir haben uns sehr bewusst dazu entschieden, abseits des Stadttrubels das alte Cottage zu mieten und es nicht bereut. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier so gut aufgehoben. Wie schon oft beschrieben, ist die Anfahrt abenteuerlich, aber für einen geübten , sicheren Fahrer machbar. Das Cottage mit seinen leise knarrenden Dielen, die traumhafte Aussicht bis zum Meer und der urige Garten ist eine Wohlfühloase. Man muss es lieben. Unser Hund hatte Spannung und Aufregung. Eichhörnchen, kleine Salamander und Waschbären, die die ersten Tage neugierig waren, wurden verbellt und gejagt. Wir wurden nie gestört und konnten tun und lassen, was wir wollten. So gut erholt, sind wir noch nie aus einem Urlaub zurückgekehrt . Nachts im Whirlpool mit einem Glas Rotwein die Sterne zählen, hat was. Das Haus war blitzsauber und die Küche richtig gut ausgestattet. Nach einer Woche wurden die Betten neu bezogen und frische Handtücher gebracht . Man sollte wissen, das zur Stadt ein Temperaturunterschied von 10 Grad bestehen kann. ( nicht immer, je nach Wtterlage) Ich fand das schon heftig, während mein Mann die Abkühlung toll fand. Dann wurde der Kamin angezündet So entstand wieder ein gemütliches Ambiente. Lesen, Musik, Spiele alles ist machbar. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und die wirklich gute Betreuung.

Traumhaft schön

Ein sehr schönes Feriendomizil. Abseits auf 750m gelegenes Haus. Herrlich zum Entspannen und bestens zum Entschleunigen. Die Vermieterin und ihre Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort (Sarah) sind äußerst aufmerksam und kundenorientiert. Ein märchenhafte Urlaub geht zu Ende und wir sagen Danke hierfür.

A dream well hidden in the mountains

First of all, booking, description and onboarding was of the highest class I ever seen. ( and I have seen many) We got a lovely meeting at our arrival from the house keeper and you direct got the feeling of how much we gonna like the place. The view is stunning and I would say that the place looks even better live that on pictures You find all equipments needed and some you newer seen before- all in charming style that matches the house. We have been renting house for many years and had some wins and som losts- but if only was allowed to recomend One place - this would be it - the location - the house- the owner and last but absolute the star - Sarah the house keeper so with this I can only thank you all for letting us stay in your lovely place and wish you all god things in life

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Bei unserer ersten Anreise zum Haus waren wir erschrocken, weil es tatsächlich eine halbe Stunde dauert bis man oben angekommen ist. Der Weg ist nicht ganz ohne. Nach Ankunft war jedoch alles vergessen! Das Haus ist von unfassbarer Idylle umgeben. Zum Entspannen für Pärchen oder kleine Familien ist es genau das richtige! Die Lage ist super, um Wandern zu gehen und trotz des Weges ins Tal und wieder zurück, sind wir ans Meer gefahren sowie in Städte wie Florenz und Lucca. Der Kontakt mit Sarah war einwandfrei. Sie war immer erreichbar und hat uns ein super tolles Restaurant in La Culla empfohlen (ca. 5 km entfernt, dafür muss man nicht komplett runter fahren). Der Besuch im Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen! Zusammengefasst: wir hatten noch nie so einen idyllischen, ruhigen und herzlichen Urlaub gehabt wie in Sibillas Haus!

Ein gemütliches, geschmackvolles Häuschen in unberührter Natur mit traumhaftem Meerblick. Wanderungen sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich und bis zum Meer sind es gerade mal 30 Minuten. Sarah welche uns einen warmen Empfang mit Leckereien aus ihrem Garten bereitet hat, war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Wir haben unseren leider viel zu kurzen Urlaub sehr genossen und wollten gar nicht mehr weg.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this house as soon as I saw it. It is beautifuly decorated and light and airy, with comfort a priority, whilst the sense of space and the view of the coast is a real luxury that can't be given great enough value, in terms of the feeling of well being it provides. Reading all the amazing reviews that people have left in the guest book over the past 6 years with the previous owner only confirmed my own impression of the house when I myself first set eyes on it.

What makes this property unique

Tucked away on the hillside the house is a delightful niche of comfort in a spectacular natural setting. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen has everything you might need. During the day the sunny terrace furnished with chairs and sunbeds is perfect for sunbathing and chilling out, the pergolas provide shade to sit and read in, or dine under. The relaxation of lying in the hot tub on the terrace on warm, or even cool, evenings while the flickering lights all along the coast and out at sea provide magical scenery needs to be experienced to be believed.
There are also wonderful walks, for all abilities, where after following ancient paths originally laid down by people centuries ago, you can spot stoneage carvings in rocks and see the most stunning views of the both the coast , spanning from Livorno to Porto Venere, and the mountains and stone quarries of the Apuane range.
