Our 2nd year in a row staying at this beautiful home! Came down from Ohio for the JVA World volleyball Challenge held at the KICC. Love the location and the neighbor is nice and quiet. Thanks again and see you next year !
This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and fast response from owner Cheryl. However, I did not know it was an upstairs unit. I’ve had both knees replaced and a broken foot and it was a little more difficult than I was expecting. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.
Loved staying here. Its close to everything i needed. The place its self was very clean , tastfully decorated and comfortable to stay at. I would definitely stay here again.
We were in town to see a concert. We stayed for a weekend. The owners were very responsive check in was easy. The place was spotless very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. It’s about a mile and a half to downtown Louisville, maybe a little less. I wouldn’t walk it because you have to go through some pretty shady areas to get there. Less than 10 minute drive. We didn’t cook there, but it looked like there were adequate supplies if you wanted to. Water in the fridge and coffee, tea, sugar, creamer. Some reviews indicated the bed was too soft. It’s a nice bed. It’s a memory foam mattress and is softer than we are use to but that’s a personal preference. I was so impressed with everything I would definitely stay again. The only thing I would love to see is a plug-in fan. They had a ceiling fan, but I can’t sleep without an actual fan blowing air and making noise. Rarely if ever do VRBO owners provide this and it would be such a bonus. A lot of people sleep when these fans. I did bring one because it’s such an important thing to me, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to pack one. I would definitely stay here again. (FYI…Praying for the owners for healing and comfort you were awesome even in the midst of your health battle.)
This home is beautiful. The surrounding homes are beautiful. We were comfortable walking the short distances in this area. Great location easy to get a Uber from here to anywhere. The suite is private with our own entrance. The owner met us as we arrived (late). Great stay. Contact with Cheryl was very easy. She responded promptly when I realized I needed to extend our stay an extra day. We would absolutely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here during a 4 day music festival. Owner was nice, easy to communicate with, neighborhood was quiet and in convenient location for us, bed was comfy, apartment was clean…everything was great! We’ll be back.
It was a very nice place. Clean and stocked well. The mattress topper was so fluffy I felt stuck. That’s the only thing I didn’t care for. That’s just preference.
This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The kitchen was well stocked. The communication with the owner was great and check in very smooth. Would stay here again.
Cheryl is a wonderful host. She was so kind and welcoming. Her place is so cozy and beautiful. Best bed I’ve ever slept on. Hope to be back and will be staying with her again!
Beautiful, clean home. Cherly was very welcoming but also gave us our space and privacy. A quiet location that is still convinient and close to what Louisville has to offer.
Highly recommend this vrbo and host!
The historic Louisville house was quite charming. It was a great space for my daughter and I and really close to the downtown sights and restaurants. The backyard was lovely and we marveled at the many lightning bugs. The bed was softer than I’m used to but overall, a great place.
Wonderful experience. Beautiful historic home! Enjoyed the beautiful fenced backyard, private entrance to apartment upstairs and very safe. Host was awesome.
We enjoyed our time staying in this lovely old home in Old Louisville! The apartment was cute and homey. The host was so nice. She met us on the front porch and gave a tour of the apartment. Hope to come back soon!
This property was amazing! Too bad the rest of the old town area didn't appear to have been gentrified much yet. Lots of spooky, rundown neighboring old homes and homeless people loitering about. However, this home was a 5 star. I highly recommend it. The owner had every detail covered and it was nice and quiet. It was our very first time to Louisville.
