Great stay!!

Everything was as advertised and we spent a wonderful weekend in Copper Harbor. The owners were very quick to respond whenever we needed them and the cabin had all we needed to be comfortable. The wifi information was provided, but did not connect unfortunately while we stayed there which gave us 0 service unless we went to welcome center to connect to wifi. However, no big deal! Its the perfect place to unplug.

The cabin was just what I needed for a weekend getaway. Small, clean, and a great location. Comfortable beds. Easy check-in. Friendly neighbors. Would love to stay here again!

Bear Den

Was very pleased with our three night stay. It’s in a great location, although the compressor at the gas station next door can be a little annoying. Beds were very comfortable and you can walk to anything in town. We definitely plan to stay there again!

Nice cabin- nice town

The cabin has everything you need and you can’t beat the location, walking distance to everything in town and a short drive to the mountain, I would recommend it to anyone and you can bring along your fur baby which is very important to me,

Another Wonderful Stay

I've stayed at the Bear Den on numerous visits. Sometimes just myself and my dog, other times with a few family members. Clean, comfortable and convenient to the many sites in the area I love to return to. It absolutely works for me and is my "go to" place when visiting Copper Harbor.

Perfect Location!

The Bear Den is the perfect location. The gas station next door was not too loud and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Everything was within walking distance. We really enjoyed our many walks to the harbor, the bakery, and all the fun shops. Laundromat is just down the road. We highly recommend the sunset/lighthouse cruise with Noah’s Ark Cruises (Bella Vista). Harbor Haus has fantastic food. I also recommend Spirit of the North if you are interested in a massage. Brockaway Mountain and Eagle Harbor are just a short drive away. The Bear Den itself had a well equipped kitchen, comfy seating and a nice bathroom/shower. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. We enjoyed sipping coffee in the mornings on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds visit the pretty flower boxes. We really recommend this place.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear Den. It was close to the bike trails, restaurants, shops and a couple blocks from lake Superior. The house had everything we needed for a family of four. :)

1 year anniversary

I gave the accuracy of the online listing a four because it said there was a fire pit, but there was no fire pit in the backyard. We bought firewood on the way hoping to have a bonfire. Other than that, we really liked the place and the location and would definitely stay again.

The Bear Den was clean and warm. Everything worked. There were enough towels and TP. Beds not very comfortable, but manageable for a few days. The house is located next to the gas station, which makes you think it would be noisy, but it wasn't. A very basic place to stay, has everything you need at a reasonable rate.

Gorgeous, Quiet, and Relaxing!

A cute little cabin where you won’t be disturbed! Be prepared for no outside contact (cell phones don’t work here!) and for the weather to include at least two different seasons in the same day! The little gas fireplace was a lifesaver since I hadn’t planned for temps to be in the 40s and 50s. The beds truly are horrible, but that could be solved by bringing an air mattress to put on top of them. My only complaint is that I had to reach out to the host to find out what the process was for showing up on the first night. Other than that, the cabin was exactly what I was looking for and exactly what I needed. *Bring a book to read while you’re staying here!
