We were here for a wedding in Green Bay and decided to get away for a few days and visit family in the area. This is a great little cottage with everything you need and beautifully located on a trout stream. We even had great weather!
This was our second time here and we love this cottage. We hope for many more weekends here! The view of the stream is beautiful, the cottage has everything we need, and we enjoy the campfire.
Our stay at the Piney was short but sweet. :) This property was the perfect location to relax and enjoy life. The Pine River is such a beautiful backdrop for a wonderful stay and the covered bridge, park, and abundant wildlife were beautiful to look at. We loved it and hope to return soon!
We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage in the River. We enjoyed skiing at Nordic Mountain and the Cottage was a perfect way to end out day. Very comfortable, clean and cozy. Thank you for the great time!
Three generations all got together for my mothers 79th Birthday. We enjoyed the property and had a wonderful time. The river and covered bridge are beautiful. The host was very responsive. I would definitely return to this property again.
We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the Pine River. The house was clean and comfortable. The master suite was spacious, with a beautiful view of the river.
What an amazing property. Located on a beautiful river overlooking a covered bridge, this spot was super relaxing.
The property had everything you could need from a fully equipped kitchen to toys for the kids to use in the yard.
We look forward to visiting again!
Property was better than advertised. Loved the backyard and stream, listening to the water flowing while enjoying an evening campfire. Loved the area and the covered bridge. Would definitely book again!
Easy check-in and check-out. Delightful property with unobstructed views of the covered bridge along with the sights and sounds of the Pine River ambling along the length of the back yard.
We didn't use the fire pit due to rain during our stay, but it looked inviting, and we would have definitely enjoyed a bonfire if the weather was better.

Weekend with friends!
It was a great place. Very clean and we'll maintained. The covered bridge was so awesome along with the little park right there. The fire pit was nice in between rain drops. The weather was the only downside.
This adorable cottage has a babbling creek and a picturesque covered bridge seen right in the backyard! The bench swing by the creek made for peaceful mornings with my husband and two kids. The small garden park across the creek was the perfect way to explore native flowers!
Every nice accommodation. Beautiful scenery. My son even look a dip in the river with it 30 degrees outside. Supposed to be good for one's health. Not for me tho. I recommend this cottage to everyone. This was my 3rd time there.

Well kept and peaceful river side cottage
We stayed at this cottage for two nights with our children and enjoyed our stay very much. It's quiet peaceful and has a beautiful river flowing in the back. Obviously you must supervise your youngsters not to get near the water unattended. The facilities are neat and clean and the price was reasonable. We recommend this for a nice quiet getaway.
This is the 2nd time my friends and I have stayed at The Piney! Love the area! The stream, fire pit, house in general. It was so very relaxing. Tom was easy to deal with and got back to me in a timely fashion with any question I had. Would recommend this property to family and friends! Thanks Tom!
The setting of this place simply can’t be beat. Our family of 4 was here on a brisk fall weekend and loved that the firepit offered us the opportunity to enjoy the riverside atmosphere even in chilly weather. The house was very well-stocked and comfortable with plenty of spots for people to relax, play games, read and eat—either gathering together or spreading out for some alone time. Recommended nearby excursions would be Hartman Creek SP, Silvercryst Supper Club, Candle Freak Coffee and Gifts, Princeton flea market and Horseradish Kitchen + Market. We’d love to return to explore more of the area—particularly in the summertime—and use this cottage in a magical setting as our home base again! Thank you to Tom for offering an affordable and comfortable lodging option in a truly one-of-a-kind location.
The home was in a quiet location, near a really nice little park. The stream was beautiful, several games there to play. Quite relaxing. One complaint would be that when I checked under the bed as we were packing to leave, making sure that nothing had been left, there was a thick layer of dust. Also, the prior people left a basket of coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Both would be problems with the cleaning people, not the owner. Overall, a nice place. I would recommend it.
Spacious, welcoming and comfortable. The firepit was near the stream. and it was lovely to sit by the fire and hear the steam in the evening.. There were notes everywhere to let us know how to operate everything, whch was very helpful. The house accommodated 7 women aged 18 to 80 just fine,, and we enjoyed the weeekend very much. WE would stay there again.
I have booked this property several times for our girls weekend. Again it was wonderful and very relaxing. We love sitting down by the trout stream. I recommend this property!
