Destination is a relaxing 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation rental home located in the Gulfside Cottages of Miramar Beach, Florida. This unique 2 story beach home is positioned perfectly on the East end of Destin (Miramar beach) and is only a stone's throw away from everything you could want, and more! You are half a mile south of the Silver Sands outlet mall where you will find over 120 designer outlet stores and 10+ restaurants to choose from! You can walk to the local Alvin’s Island Surf Shop if you forgot to pack your swimsuit and you have a Winn Dixie grocery store within walking distance as well! Gulfside Cottages is very unique in that it is very private and secluded while still keeping you close to all of the area attractions including the Sandestin golf and beach resort located just a mile down the road! When staying at Destination, you have a large community pool and deeded beach access. The pool is only 2 houses down and there are no roads to cross between your house and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico (about 2-3 minute walk).

The main living area of Destination is on the first floor and has a serene laid back décor with a sea foam green colored couch that doubles as a queen size sleeper sofa and a matching love seat. They face an entertainment system that includes a TV, DVD player and a CD sound system. A glass topped table nearby has four chairs next to an open white kitchen featuring a counter bar with stools for casual dining. There is also a powder room off the main living area for added convenience.

Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a guest bedroom with twin beds, each of which has a full private bath en suite. Gleaming honey toned hardwood flooring provides homey warmth to each room and glass doors access the balcony with views of the lovely neighborhood across the tree tops.

First Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa, Dining, Kitchen, Power Room, Laundry.

Second Floor: King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Two Twin Beds with Tub/Shower Combo.

*Based off of the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during spring break.

Perfect for a small family
This vacation home was perfect for my family of 4. The location is nice and just a short walk to the beach. The home could have been cleaned a little better, but overall not really a problem. There are only a few pots and pans so if you do a lot of cooking I would bring a few from home to use. The master bedroom has ALOT of sunlight coming in so sleeping in is not very easy, but again, not really a problem since we wanted to get up early. The trash comes early in the morning, around 6:30am; just FYI. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Winter getaway for family
We had a lovely week here, despite make some of the coldest FL weather ever! Home was comfy and well situated. Home was clean but could do with an deep clean (windows, blinds, sills and skirting boards). Management went very helpful and attentive when pipes froze and door code box failed. Everything fixed in timely manner. Could do with more cutlery. Thanks for having us.

Really nice neighborhood and pool area. Nice areas to walk your dog. House was decorated nice and cozy. The furniture was worn and needed updating but still a. Comfortable little house. We would rent again.

Wonderful place and location!
We had a wonderful time here on vacation. This house offered everything we needed. Close to the pool and a short walk to the beach on the private pathway. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located to all our needs. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Delightful little cottage
It's like staying in Wisteria Lane without the drama. Very cute cottage close to the beach. My only suggestion is that the master bedroom gets very bright in the morning so it's hard to sleep in unless you bring a eye mask. Some black out curtains would be nice in there. But overall a nice experience!

House was just as described. Close to the beach and pool. Nice and clean and bright. We totally enjoyed our stay. The emerald beach water is amazing. Plenty of other things to keep busy and explore in the area.

Great Location but be aware...
Great location! Distance from the beach is perfect. Be aware that the property has bare minimals in the kitchen and bathroom areas. There was not even coffee to start the morning. No salt and pepper either. The amount of toilet paper was not even enough for three people. Be aware if you have allergies, they have some plastic plants in the bedrooms that seem to collect too much dust. There were not hangers nor enough placemats. The washer and dryer worked well. The checking in and checking out was easy and quick. Enjoyed seating in the porch down stairs

Great customer service
When we first arrived there were some issues with the home that we rented. Ocean Reef had a check in sheet. We expressed our concerns. Within 24 hours they addressed everything. They were exceptional. I am a stickler about customer service and this company did everything right. Ultimately our stay was extremely enjoyable and it was a great trip. Regarding the property-easy access to the beach. Not really dog friendly unless you have a local address and permit. Sand is beautifully white and ocean, when calm, is green!!! Beautiful. Highly recommended. I would recommend any property involving Ocean Reef. When driving on 30A we saw many properties available through them. If you like a quieter atmosphere Seaside and Watercolor are beautiful communities.

Will Always Love Miramar Beach and this cute street, but this home needs maintenance work!
Yes, the updated living room furniture and fresh paint are great, and the flat screen tv's were very nice, however some basic maintenance needs to happen from the owners. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms are all chipped up. Kitchen lacked some basics like serving bowls and tools. Washer and dryer were rusted and the washer was in obvious pain; we only washed one load of three beach towels; gross! It took a few tries to get it to rinse correctly. A good deep cleaning and completion of maintenance would really help the overall experience their guests will have in this cute beach house. Dusty plastic plants and thick dust on baseboards by beds made us feel yuck! Bathroom ceiling vents were thick with dust and had black marks around them or near them making us wonder if it was mold. It is understood that these vacation homes turn over new vacationers every week and it is bound to look tired. We were sad the owners didn't seem to know (or care?) of the condition. No, we did not bother with reporting all of this during our stay as there became too many issues to just "fix". We were on vacation! We have stayed in other houses and condos in Miramar for over 10 years each summer. Only if changes are made in this house would we consider coming back to it, or recommending it to others. There are many other places to stay and for the price, we would pick elsewhere. Sorry!

Tidy, great AC and ceiling fans, darling, perfect.
Darling beach cottage! We loved it. As far as any feedback for the owner - it's such a darling cottage and the location is perfect. I would stay again. My recommendations are to provide extra bath towels and extra wash cloths. And the kitchen could be better stocked. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were soft, but the twin beds and the sofa sleeper were pretty uncomfortable for the rest of the family. Thank you for letting us rent your cottage. This is the forth cottage we've rented in Gulfside Cottages. We love it there and we will be back. Have a great summer! Thank you again.
