We had a great time, the house is very comfortable and the floor plan really keeps the bedrooms quiet and isolated from activities in the living area. Highly recommend
Stayed here with 3 families and a total of 5 kids. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. Loved the area for snowmobile riding, and playing in the snow. I gave the cleanliness of the house only 2 stars and that was generous, because there was spider webs everywhere, door frames/fans etc and dust in the corners.
The “full kitchen” needs updated as far as cooking pots/pans and dishes. Also there was food/condiments/drinks left in the fridge/freezer. Not clean at all.
But all that aside, we did have a good week and enjoyed the visit up to South Fork.
The house is great! The view from the back porch is exactly what you want when visiting Colorado. It was plenty of room for our group of 14. The drive to Wolf Creek was absolutely stunning and only about 25 mins. We would definitely stay again!
Really enjoyed our stay and the evening view was amazing
This was a great house and stay. We have a family that plays golf, fishes and rides ATVs. It was great to comeback to the house and chat about the day on the deck.
Our experience was wonderful. The house was perfect for our family of 6 kids and 6 adults. There was plenty of room and we were very comfortable. The scenery was awesome and the house had everything we needed.
We had a great time, thanks!
Overall a exceptional time and a Fantastic Cabin, only issue is the Microwave handle was damaged and the shelfs in Fridge need to be replaced. Skiing at Wolf Creek was always the best.
Despite all the bugs in June it was really amazing staying right on the river. The kids enjoyed seeing ducks and beaver and all the birds. Great location.
It was the best an relaxing place ever .We didn't want to leave !!!!! We cannot wait to go back!!!! No words can express the way the cabin feels !!!! ❤️
The home was very accomodating and had plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the spacious living area and kitchen. The views off the decks were amazing and it was enjoyable to watch a bald eagle visit the river behind the house every day. My only suggestion would be to lower the television in the living room because it was so high it strained our necks watching it. We really loved the house and location and hope to visit again soon!
This property was perfect for our group of 8 who traveled to find deep snow for snowmobiling! Everyone had their own bed with room to spread out. The kitchen, dining, and living room are all in a common area with the bedrooms in a separate area for quietness if others stay up late. The decks looked amazing for summertime relaxing although we mostly stayed inside. We were able to park 2 enclosed trailers and 3 more trucks although we had to back the trailers down the driveway.
We booked this property for our family Christmas ski vacation. We loved the location right outside of South Fork. There is quick and easy access to the grocery store, ski rentals, and a short and scenic drive up to Wolf Creek ski area. The home’s abundant windows look right out over the river and gorgeous scenery. It snowed quite a lot the week we were there which made it even more picturesque. After long days of skiing we appreciated the fully functioning kitchen (there is even a crockpot), cozy fire place and comfortable beds. (The pictures didn’t show it but there is breakfast table AND a dining table - which was a bonus for our large group.) The bunk room was perfect for all of our kids (there are 6 bunks!). This property was just perfect for our family trip. I also appreciated that the owner was always quick to respond to my inquiries and was very friendly.
This was our first trip to Wolf Creek and we will definitely return. We chose Wolf Creek because we were hoping for some good early season snow skiing and boarding. We were not disappointed. The mountain was small enough to feel comfortable letting our teenage and pre-teen kids ski and board without worrying about them getting lost, yet the runs were varied enough that they didn’t get bored. Although we visited over a busy holiday (Christmas) we never had to wait more than just a couple of minutes to get on a lift. After a few days of skiing a few of the kids wanted a break. They found a fun little sledding hill in town and had a blast. (There was also a small ski rink.) We also took a break from cooking and ate out at Ramon’s in South Fork for dinner on Christmas Eve. The food and hospitality were superb. All in all we could not have asked for a better trip. We will definitely return to Wolf Creek/South Fork.
Very comfortable and nice home. Well suited and complete for anyone's vacation. A really restful stay after driving from Georgia. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Clean home but a little dusty and a few spiderwebs. I would suggest a window covering in the downstairs bdr on the river side. Sun comes up in your face if sleeping. We liked it and recommend your renting it. Thanks.
