The home was the perfect size for our family. It was our first Christmas morning with all of our grandchildren and we had a great time. Some were fishing, some were canoeing, and some were just relaxing. The response from Robert was great and check-in was a breeze. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

The view is incomparable!
mother, daughter and son-in-law were the primary residents with frequent and extended visits from granddaughter who lives in Largo, grandson and family from Gainesville Ga , and other family and friends. We appreciated the canoe and kayaks available, loved that our neighbor was a fisherman and gave us lots of sea trout and fresh crabs. We ate like kings.Robert is a wonderful host. His house sustained some damage from Helene and he’s put bandaids on it so that we could stay there this winter. Thank you Robert. And he’s making repairs as time and help becomes available. Help is difficult to find since there are so many people in need of all the same things. Our Verizon doesn’t work in that location, but his internet is very good, so we were able to communicate with the outside (read ‘home’) world. All in all we were very comfortable. Looking forward to going back another time.
The host could not have been nicer, the location is terrific, watching the birdlife, a few dolphins and fishing off the dock, just forget the world and relax.
This is a great home in a nice quiet location. The home is very well equipped and the property manager was very informative and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!
Group of us came in from TX to fish for a few days and this place was the perfect location for accessing the local waterways and Gulf. The property has everything and was very well appointed and clean. Love the community and the neighbors we spoke with were very nice and friendly, we ate at couple of the little local restaurants and the food was awesome. Overall great stay and will definitely be back for a return visit and some more fishing
The view is amazing. Loved drinking my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water. The rooms were big and spacious. Great place, great host! Super hard to leave.
Amazing sunsets and fishing on dock with lots of extras! From sunrise to sunset you will be happy with this home. Lots of fun for the kids and all day fishing from dock. We caught sting rays, catfish, red fish, lots of others, saw dolphins, and manatees. Close to local bars for some evening fun and close enough to Pine Island beach, springs, and crystal river.
First time using VRBO had a great experience, The house we stayed in was everything it was listed as and more. The home owners were very informative. Will use VRBO again and hope to return to the house we stayed at again.
What a wonderful 10 days in old Homosassa. My wife and I have been traveling for the past 15 months we have visited 22 states and 10 countries We have stayed in homes, condos, Apartments and hotels. This is by far the nicest property we have stayed in It is furnished with everything you need and very comfortable A wonderful plus was the elevator to bring our luggage up to the Second floor living area The owners were responsive and very easy to work with Wonderful places to eat within a short driving distance And a quiet, calm ,peaceful and relaxing place just to sit and watch the sunset. It’s a great property for families or couples just wanting to get away We would definitely rent this property again
Pure Bliss. The vacation that is actually a vacation!!
The property was better than even listed! Everything from the amenities to the bedding to the view was impeccable. You could literally see the bay from every single room. The bedrooms included their own deck for a peaceful sunrise and sunset every single day. I was in awe over how beautiful it was. My children had plenty to do from the arcade game and pool table. Even included and atv and kayaks. We enjoyed lots of local activities in our week stay. We scalloped, swam with manatee and even rode and airboat. We also went to the local state park and saw LU. The oldest living rhino! Super cool. This trip was an experience I will never forget. I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life! Robert keeps the place loaded with everything you could possibly need on a vacation. Check out The Freezer. (A local restaurant) The shrimp are to die for! Also McCraes had nice cold beverages waterfront and a variety of appetizers that we really enjoyed. Safari something was super close the property we had breakfast sandwiches their a couple times. Super nice people. Next door you have to check out the pottery! Overall 2 thumbs up. I hope to visit here again. For the price, it is absolutely exceptional!!
Absolutely amazing property, clean, very comfortable beds, amazing sunsets, lots of room and lots of stuff to stay busy. Got lots of catfish right off the dock. Would definitely stay here again!
We brought our boat, coming from the East Coast to scallop. We had a nice ride out to the gulf and found scallops easily. we also adventured towards the springs and enjoyed the day swimming in the springs. The house was comfortable, location is beautiful, the town is adorable.
Perfectly beautiful property. Amazing views from every floor. Well accoutremented with anything we needed including great wifi. Very quiet and peaceful area. Nice dock also.
Had a wonderful trip. Caught our redfish limit Friday and Saturday and probably would have caught a limit Thursday if not for a storm all day. We all snore. One bedroom had trundle beds and were too uncomfortable to sleep in. Drew straws and my youngest slept on the couch in the living room. How about replacing those with two twins or a queen. But we are coming back next year! Geaux Tigers, Mike
