My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved that it was close to everything but not too close. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay so much!! The location is perfect! The house was clean, stocked with anything you may have forgotten, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the hosts! Super easy to get in touch with and we had no issues with anything while we were there. We will definitely stay here again for future trips!!
We come to the pigeon forge area three or four times a year, so we’ve stayed in our fair share of rental cabins, and this was one of our very favorite places we’ve stayed! The hosts really have done an excellent job up keeping the property, and they understand the importance of the little touches. We will definitely stay here again!
Our family of 4 stayed in this cabin for a week of baseball it’s very close to cal Ripken fields and the Rocky Mountain coaster. Easy access to gatlinburg.
The home is cozy and very convenient for all area attractions, although, icy weather would create hazards accessing the location due to the steep hillside.
The VRBO listing doesn’t do justice to this place. It is so conveniently located, plus the owners have it stocked with all things you may forget or need. Games, toiletries, even batteries! It was super nice and clean, perfect for two families traveling together!!
We will be back!!
The cabin is perfectly located for day trips to Dollywood, the Smokies, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge. After days out exploring, it was great to have a cozy cottage to come back to with a hot tub to reinvigorate us.
We wanted a cozy place close to Gatlinburg and we loved our choice! It was a beautiful, clean, spacious cabin that met all our expectations. We will gladly stay again!
This cabin and the location were very accommodating for our family vacation. Our family enjoyed the pool table and hot tub, too. We had very quick access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg attractions. A special thank you to our host for communicating with us to ensure that our needs were met.

Christmas getaway
This property is not private like it says. The driveway is short and steep. The parking is awarded if u have 2 vehicles. Pool table is really for kids!
The house was great. Literally 5 minutes to Dollywood, an easy drive to the Smokey Mountains National Park. Everything is well maintained and clean. We loved our stay.
This was a great cabin for our family. The cabin itself had plenty of room and things to do, but maybe the best part was its location. We rarely had to deal with traffic to go anywhere since it is located on the Dollywood side of Pigeon Forge. We would definitely book this cabin again.
Great wooden panel cabin, well placed in a quiet street in Pidgeon Forge. Good bade to experience all the adventures that are offered in the Smokey Mountains. Just 5 mins drive from Dollywood and Pidgeon Forge
We've stayed in so many cabins in the area and this one was in the best location: no super narrow up the mountain road!! The hosts have provided so many exteas, in case you forget something vital, and the beds are very comfortable- always important! It was pretty quiet but we could hear the Dollywood train which was great. It's a great place to stay!
Very nice cabin, well furnished, well maintained. Will return again sometime....we hope.

What makes this property unique
We fell in love with Bear Wood for several reasons. The location makes it perfect for a family to have a short jaunt to so many amazing attractions in the area. We also loved the hand hewn beams that highlight the kitchen. It has a strong rustic feel that makes it easy to relax and feel at home.
