Absolutely the best location in Princeville with views of Kauai’s northern coastline from the private open air lanai. This recently upgraded modern island condominium has everything you need for the perfect beach retreat! Enjoy the pool or take a stroll down one of the many walking paths. Visit 'Anini Beach, Hanalei Bay, local farmers markets, Tunnels (Makua) Beach, Ke'e Beach, and more! The ideal spot for family and friends, you will love this home away from home in Princeville.

Located on top floor at the very end of building 6 at the Cliffs resort, this two bedroom (with the loft serving as the 2nd bedroom) has been recently upgraded with the modern guest in mind. Fully furnished throughout, this spacious condo includes a full kitchen complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with linens, pillows, and bed coverings. Enjoy the private lanai that looks out on lush, tropical vegetation and cool breezes. TV, free high-speed WiFi, onsite parking, and private access.

Pretty nice place to stay with some airflow caveats

The good: amazing views, great upscale location, overlooks the ocean, we had a 3rd floor unit and I'm glad it wasn't second or first floor just for the extra loft area and the better view. The condo comes with a couple of Dyson fans to help with airflow. The bad: No A/C - which normally wouldn't be a problem, but the window screens aren't well maintained. The one in our kitchen basically fell out on its own making it difficult to leave that window open without having flies come in. There were many louvered windows in the loft that *could* have been opened for much better air-flow, but the screens on those windows were all ripped. Also, I'm not sure how we'd open them even if we wanted to since you'd need a ladder. Only one of the Dyson fans was operational.

Great Location needing some Quality Checks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we really enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues with the bathroom cleanliness that we would have appreciated been addressed before our stay. The shower drain was not properly draining and screws were loosely kept which consequently fell out into the shower. There was a mid week refresh listed in the handbook which was not provided as well. Additionally some amenities such as blow dryer and fans were not functioning. Overall the location is beautiful and worth the stay but I wish the quality matched the price.

We loved the spacious condo.A few things we noticed that I would expect in such an upgraded condominium.The cleanliness was a bit lacking. The floors were sandy when we arrived and the furniture on the lanai’s were needing a cleaning. The refrigerator needed a good wipe down on the exterior. The windows that crank open had a lot of black dirt debris which then blew inside. The bathtub has a drainage problem the water drains away while bathing. I fell and needed a soak with Epsom salts but was disappointed with the bathtub. Thanks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cliffs. Our condo was very clean and well maintained. They had the essentials...for example, laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, etc. I have been to many rentals and they don't have these so I was very excited when they had these tings. One less trip to the store:) They also had chairs for the beach and great beach towels. The staff who worked at the Cliffs were extremely helpful in planning our days around Kauai since this was our first time there. The view was gorgeous. We would wake up in the morning and sit outside and watch dolphins and whales swim by. It was extremely relaxing. I highly recommend the cliffs and the condo we stayed in.

Family Fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our condo and location. It was clean and the check in process was very easy and the staff was extremely kind and helpful with planning our days while we were in Kauai. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, pour a cup of coffee and walk outside and whale watch. It was close to hanalei bay beach where we would go after a day of adventure and the kids would body surf and swim in the waves. We highly recommend the cliffs.

Relaxing retreat in gorgeous Kauai

We had a fantastic time in Princeville, staying at this wonderfully appointed apartment. The views were simply stunning... watercolour sunsets and blissful breezes. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available, particularly in the kitchen that was very well stocked. The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. There is a pool and gym in the complex as well. As a suggestion, the apartment is due for an update. Due to the age, and perhaps overuse by renters, some things are worn and could be replaced. We found some of the blinds to be broken, fans were not sufficient to keep cool at night (especially in the loft area) and some of the bedding was a little musty. For the price of the rental, I would expect a little more attention to detail. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay and appreciated the seamless check-in process, free parking and amenities.

Private, Family Friendly with Amazing Views

Our family of 4 stayed in this condo for 5 nights in Mar-Apr. It had all the amenities we needed including a well stocked kitchen and very clean BBQ area for meals at home. Sunrises from the master bedroom were exceptional and the kids loved having their own beds in the loft area (open to the living room below). The condo is a great location for activities on the northern part of the island; Hanalei Bay sunsets and boogie boarding, Hanalei River kayaking, Hideaway Beach snorkelling, Poipu bike trail. The open living area, views and covered decks are perfect for rainy days (although we only had one during our stay). We especially enjoyed watching breaching humpback whales and albatross from the deck!

Princeville with gorgeous views

We really loved the beautiful views off the lanai. The property grounds were gorgeous. The loft was a little inconvenient with no upper bathroom. The master bedroom was excellent huge with a private lanai. The parking was really poor, at night there were no spaces by the condo.

Beautiful condo at a stunning location

We just returned from a lovely week spent here. The condo was beautiful, seems recently updated, and was fully stocked with all we needed. The cooler and beach chairs were definitely nice to have for beach time and picnic lunches. We appreciated the stock of games in the footstool and the Hawaiian inspired movie collection, though we didn't get a chance to use any of them. The views from the lanai were stunning- no other buildings were blocking our views to the ocean. There was plenty of room for our group of 5 - my parents, sister, husband, and I. The Cliffs community was well cared for with beautiful grounds and an updated pool area; the reception desk staff was kind and helpful (the key in the lock box doesn't open anything, you need to check in at the reception desk to get key cards). It was a prefect home base for our week of exploring the island. We will definitely bookmark this property to stay at again!

Amazing stay in Kauai!

We vacationed at this condo for 8 days in June. The condo was very well furnished and the kitchen was stocked with any items we needed. The view from the lanai was amazing and we loved eating breakfast out on the lanai. We were a little worried about the lack of air conditioning but the condo had ample fans to keep us cool. The pool was also close by. We had a wonderful time doing many activities on Kauai such as a boat tour of the Napali Coast, ziplining at Princeville Ranch, kayaking, hiking and also road tripped all the way around the island to see Waimea Canyon and a beautiful sunset on Polihale beach!

Love the North Shore

Wonderful stay here from January 17 to March 17. The views from The Cliffs are to good to explain, and the location of this unit is "one of the best". The location alone earns the 5 Stars! We know this island well having been here many, many times and we love the North Shore - Princeville, Hanalei, Anini Beach, Ke'e beach, Kalalau Trail and more. There is not a more picturesque than here, at least in our opinion. Check-in, check-out was seamless and easy as it is nothing more than accessing a lockbox, pretty simple. Our only issue (not one that would change the rating) was the two mandatory or required "mid stay cleanings" because we were here so long. I don't understand why they were required and suggest that be a policy for review. For us it was a cost with no benefit as we are pretty orderly and clean and didn't need additional housekeeping. To make that worse, both of the "scheduled" cleanings did not go as scheduled so we had to change our plans twice, again for something we didn't need, nor did we ask for it but we paid for it both in cost, and in time. I hope this policy is reviewed as a result of this input. We'll definitely return to The Cliffs, we loved our stay.

Very lovely Rental beautiful views

We basically had to find everything on our own There is a lovely beach about 2 miles down the road at the St Regis Couldn’t figure out where to park or how to get to the beach Thanks for some nice stranger we were told we could valet our car at The St Regis and either use the staircase by the guard station to go to the beach Or in my husbands case could not make the stairs we were told to just go through the lobby to the elevators The St Regis staff could not be nicer Free valet parking and gorgeous beach No hotel does that I recommend if you stay at the Cliffs use the St Regis beach and have s nice lunch if you want

Amazing apartment in north Kauai!

The apartment was really beautiful and had everything we needed - from beach towels to cooking essentials. The major down side was that the other bedroom is on the second floor, gallery style, with no door(!) and plenty of natural light in the morning... so needs to keep that in mind if you are 2 couples travelling. The other bathroom is on the first floor and not near the second bedroom. I wish we knew it before booking it :)

Just Simply Amazing

The condo was absolutely great, 5 stars +++. We were a familly of 4 with kids of 18 and 14 who had the luxury of their studio on the second floor with own tv and what about the amazing huge master bedroom with own balcony... Another huge balcony up front with family table where we enjoyed the 3rd floor sea breeze during breakfasts and sunset at diner times. Wow, wow, wow!!! Location was great at less than 10 min from Hanalei. All activities on the north shore were within 30 min. Great snorkling with countless opportunities to swim with sea turtles at various locations. Fully equiped beach gear was available making all beach activities as enjoyable as if we were at home. Condo is fully equiped so we could cook our meals as if we were at home and enjoy the BBQ facility. Resort pool and spa section was extremelly convenient, including a brand new sports section (shuffle board, tennis, basket, pickel ball, mini put) with all equipment provided free of charge. Must do activities: - Waimea Canyon - Ha'ena State Park trail (took us 2 hours to the fall - high pace) - Surf lessons at Hanalei - Tunnels Beach (best snorkling with sea turtles) - but parking challenge - Anini Beach (second best snorkling at 5 min driving and plenty of parking - Hand feeding of wild nee-nee birds at the condo front lawn - and so much much more... Make sure to make early reservation of boat tour for Napali Coast. Our trip was cancelled on us last minute due to boat engine problem. Being on our last day, we had no plan B possible. Last minute booking is impossible. Checkin-in was fast and simple. Key was available at the door as per instructions and resort check-in also had welcome package ready for us. This is one of our best rental ever. We highly recommend and would go back anytime. Special note to light sleepers, be aware of the lovely signing of roosters announcing sunrise. This was charming but you may want to close your windows or wear hear plugs if not interested :-)

Great location and view

The view off the back deck was incredible! We spent a lot of time on the deck. If we weren't exploring Kauai, we were relaxing with the incredible view. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed the pool. The only problem we had that occasionally the wind would go through the condo and slam the master bedroom door and lock us out. This happened twice on day one but someone was there quickly to unlock it. Later they changed the door lock and we had no problem. This location was quiet and so peaceful in the morning. I will definitely stay here again! Probably my favorite condo I have ever rented! Can't wait to come back some day!
