We were in town to visit our son. Neil's place was the perfect place to prepare meals and relax on the porch. Neil was so helpful and kind. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.
This property suited our needs perfectly! Us and our adult chilren & spouses (6 in all). Neil's home is quiet, secluded and beautiful. It served as the perfect home base for our daily outings and adventures!
Neil is very knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions. He is a gracious host, and he was quick to respond to any questions or needs.
We hope to return sometime. This area holds a special place in our hearts!
All the amenities we 5 star. Our favorite spots to hang were the large kitchen and the beautiful porch. Views of river and mts were spectacular. Watching for wildlife was a favorite.
We are defiantly renting with Neil again!

Loved the location, the home and the privacy. We really appreciate the owner, Neil’s attentiveness and easy communication. Definitely would stay again!
Great property....loved that there were 2 separate areas for sleeping/bath. One in basement and one on main floor. Close to the Wind and Dubois and Yellowstone.
There could not be a better VRBO. It was spacious, perfectly cleaned, well stocked, and I loved the decor. From the kitchen you can see the Wind River and with the windows open, you can hear it. We stayed with our family. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the beds were comfortable, and the house was relaxed and quiet. Whether you’re exploring the Tetons, Shoshone, the Upper Wind, or Dubois there couldn’t be a better location to base your adventures.
the house was perfect for our family to unwind after a long day at the tetons or yellowstone. it is a little drive from the national parks but well worth it for the location and atmosphere.
This cabin was the perfect home base for our vacation in Wyoming! Neil was the most gracious host...it was fun running into him around town. We had everything we needed at the cabin which allowed us to cook at "home" when we wanted and run a couple loads of laundry as we needed. Sitting on the deck enjoying the surroundings while we drank coffee or had supper was amazing! I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone wanting to stay in Dubois.
Our family loved the peaceful setting of this home. It was close to all the outdoor adventures we wanted to do. The house had everything we needed and was close enough to town to grab dinner when we didn't feel like cooking.
The house is great -- it came very well stocked, the rooms were very nice and the view can't be beat. It is a very peaceful setting with a porch that looks onto a river and into the hills. We used this location as our home base for trips to Yellowstone and the Tetons. While the drive to Yellowstone takes awhile we enjoyed the small town setting of Dubois over Jackson. Dubois had plenty of food options and decent shopping.
Neil’s home was fantastic! The home is larger than it appears and was extremely quiet. The town of Dubois is a short 6 minute drive and you will see pronghorn and deer on the drive. We enjoyed horseback riding only a few minutes away and I did some fly fishing as well. We enjoyed coffee and reading on the deck each morning. We also enjoyed the amazing view of the stars at night. A true treasure for sure and we hope to visit again!
Great, sunny property with a green lawn and flowering adjacent pastures. The upstairs had 2 bedrooms and ample den/kitchen/dining space with another suite downstairs. The laundry room was an added bonus for our large family. Neil was very responsive as an owner, but not obtrusive. The Wind river flows along the edge of the yard, but in June, it was too muddy to fish due to snowmelt. Snow in the high elevations complicated some of our hikes as well. All in all, though, it was a fantastic retreat full of animal sightings, vigorous hikes, and fun in-town activities in Dubois.
We loved this wonderful cabin! We had the best weekend, fishing, hiking, looking for wildlife! We saw so much, even right in the front yard. Neil has a beautiful place and anything we needed was inside. Such a great well kept cabin. Thank you Neil…. We will be back!
Fantastic stay at Neil's Cabin. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our group. Great Kitchen and laundry facilities. Never ran out of hot water with 4 adults showering! The deck view was FABULOUS!!! Great spot to really de-plug and enjoy all of the outdoor activities you want! Neil was a fabulous host !! We will back back!!
This place is in a great location with beautiful scenery. Neil was an awesome host and provided us with a lot of helpful tips and suggestions for things to do and check out. We hope to visit again soon! Thanks Neil!
