First floor: Front door leading into hallway with doors to Double bedroom: with double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of draws. Family bathroom: with shower over bath, wash basin and WC. Open plan living/dining and kitchen: with comfortable sofas, sideboard, table with four chairs and TV. Kitchen area: with electric cooker, fridge and microwave.

Excellent location

Nice flat, excellent location, nicely furnished, but needed attention. No toilet roll. Bulbs in passage and lounge needed replacing. Fridge, but no freezer. Constant smell of cigarette smoke. Lounge suite was dirty. Lots of unnecessary kitchen equipment, taking up space which could be used for groceries. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy.

Potentially excellent flat spoilt by cigarette smoke

We found the flat to be very clean, well equipped and comfortable with the exception of the rather firm bed. The location was excellent but our stay was spoilt by the constant small of cigarette smoke which pervaded the whole building, apparently from the flat on the ground floor. Our arrival was stressful because the address was given as 4 Edale Court, when it should have been Flat 4, No. 2 Edale Court, so not an ideal start to our holiday. We certainly would not return due to the issue with cigarette smoke.

Lovely flat. Great location.

Spent four nights in mid May, 4 Edal Court is a lovely flat in a residential road. Would definitely recommend to others. Few minutes walk from shops and sea front. Perfect for exploring Sheringham and surrounding area. Sheringham Park is well worth a visit, especially in May - spectacular rhododendrons. Staff in office very helpful. Hope to come back.

Bright, airy, 1 double bedroom, first floor accommodation, simply furnished; easy walk to choice of cafe/bars, pubs, restaurants, Sainsbury's Xpress & The Little Theatre. Coastal & woodland walks from the door.

Lovely holiday at Edal Court

A light and airy flat in a great location

A lovely light and airy flat tastefully decorated in a great location and good parking. Neighbours above were noisy on occasion. You could hear them walking about and could hear their tv. However, I wouldn’t say it affected our stay that much.

Lovely 1940’s weekend break

Lovely first floor flat, perfect position few minutes walk to beach, town & station. Well laid out, comfy bed & sofas. As mentioned in previous reviews parking for a large car was tight, but brilliant to have parking onsite on a busy weekend. Nice bedding. No WiFi but didn’t bother us too much as lots to do during the 1940’s weekend, just used the flat as a base. Didn’t use the cooker, microwave was useful. Perfect base for a lovely weekend.

Edal Court

We had a very pleasant stay at Edal Court. There is parking round the back and is in a good location and proximity for the beach. The only thing to note is there is no WiFi despite there being a smart TV, this is not a problem if you want to disconnect for the week.

Disappointing experience.

The flat was clean and well positioned for the beach and town. Unfortunately there was a strange smell, possibly from smoking or pets. There was loud noise on the first night from the TV downstairs, then noise from the flat above on the next two nights. There was loud music, TV and banging about until 2am. There was also dogs yapping. We definitely would not stay here again and think we should get a refund, as our weekend was ruined.

Smashing flat

The flat was as good as the photos and having its own car parking made it a win-win. It is just a few minutes from the beach, the shops and our favourite the steam railway and yet it was a very quiet location without much traffic noise.

Convienent location for a short break

Convienent for the beach and central amenities. The flat is comfortable and clean with parking for one car. Couldn't find the rotary washing line which wasn't a problem for us but could be if you wanted to get things dry after a day on the Beach. All in all it was a very pleasant stay for three adults and a teenager.

Just a couple of things

Overall an excellent experience, clean, and well presented apartment, there are a couple of things i feel that you should consider for the future. Wi-Fi Access, this will allow people to communicate and run searches for local amenities and also entertainment via things such as Netflix. There is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment until you open the main windows, I think this is coming from a nearby apartment, probably not a lot you can do about this, such a shame as you have a beautiful flat. All in all a very good experience. Thank you

Great location

We had a great week staying at 4 Edal Court. Location behind the old Burlington Hotel is great as very close to beach and the centre of Sheringham. Accommodation was clean, bright and comfy. Only issue we had was with parking. There are 6 spaces , one for each flat but the space isn’t suitable for 6 modern cars and sometimes we had to find on street parking due to not being able to fit in the space left when all other cars are parked. Removing the chain rope and post would help or marking out each space. As there was loads of unlimited on street parking it wasnt such an issue but in the summer it could be.

Excellent stay

Lovely roomy apartment, everything you need and central to beach and town. There’s games, dvds and beach buckets, windbreakers, kite and surfboards to use. Just a short stroll to cafes, pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Sheringham

The flat was ideally situated for us and we were able to enjoy a walk along the sea front every day. It was also only a short walk to the shops and restaurants, so really great on a self-catering holiday. There was a slight problem with the designated parking due to the position of the posts holding the chain across the front of the spaces but it was okay most of the time as not all six flats were occupied. The flat was clean and bright and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely laid out but, although there was a slow cooker and a very fancy coffee making machine, there were no dishes suitable for cooking in the oven. So I ended up buying foil dishes which were really not that good. And there wasn't an oven glove so getting "floppy" foil dishes out of the oven was a bit tricky. If we should be lucky enough to be able to have another holiday in Sheringham in the future, we would be more than happy to stay in Edal Court.

Sheringham Break

Acquisition of the keys was straightforward and we found the apartment to have been cleaned and prepared really well. It is light and airy with plenty of space and a pleasant frontal outlook. All facilities are of a good standard, well maintained and pretty new. It was a very enjoyable stay and we would return. The only problem was construction work at the rear of the parking area which on one occasion restricted access and egress completely.However we realize that this is only a temporary situation and would recommend the property without question.
