Adorable farm setting, beautiful views
We had a wonderful two night stay, this place was everything we needed, pleasantly surprised by the amazing barbecue pit setup, easily grilled lots of steaks for our party of 8. Beds were comfy, super fun to say to all the animals.

Ranch Stay
Shelly was amazing and extremely helpful, she really went above and beyond. The grounds employees were super friendly and were very sweet with my little guy while he watched them work every morning. The house had so many things to entertain the kids and was stocked with every single baby item we could have ever needed. The kitchen was also completely stocked.

Wonderful retreat
Very clean and well kept facilities. On a large ranch with animals and other abodes. Host was incredible nice and very communicative. Animals were super friendly as well. Really enjoyed our time there and would definitely consider rebooking the entire resort (all abodes) for our extended family :-)

Very nice ranch style with a great kitchen.
I really liked the property, we were attending a horse show at the nearby Bolado park. Although we did not spend a lot of time there, the surroundings were quite nice. The kitchen was well equipped for serious and not so serious cooks. Big pleasant living room, lots of nice pieces mixed with whimsical cowboy kitsch. Far from the grocery store, which is something to plan for, but anything I forgot was in the cupboard. Nice touches throughout.

An amazing getaway.. We didnt want to leave!!
Our stay at the Lazy hog inn was one of the most unique, one-of a kind experience for me and my group of friends (4 families) who chose the place for a quite getaway during memorial long weekend. The owner Barbara Rever and the manager Shelley Hartmann were such wonderful individuals who always went that extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and very well taken care of right from the booking process on VRBO till the day we left the ranch. Barbara's hospitality was amazing. She made us feel at home right from the moment we stepped inside the house. She let the kids enjoy all the toys at the house and even gave all of us some nice farewell gifts (peacock feathers) upon checkout. Such a sweet gesture it was. The ranch itself is like a piece of paradise, right in the heart of Pinnacles National forest, very unique with tons of character. You can see and sense the pride of ownership at every nook and cranny of the property. One will need more than the 2000 characters on VRBO to explain all of its charms. All I will say is you have to experience it for yourself and you will not feel like leaving the place :) Thank you Barbara for a wonderful stay and for your warm hospitality. Hope to come back sometime in the future.

We are two busy physicians that purchased this 1000+ acre ranch in 1991 as a tranquil getaway for ourselves and two sons, Dustin and Ian. We enjoy all that country life has to offer; our various domestic animals including horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, peafowl, cats, and 2 busy ranch dogs, as well as breathtaking views, wildlife sightings, native plants and the ability to do as much or as little as desired. We have tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, a two story bunkhouse that also houses a pool table, air hockey, large screen TV with a vast collection of DVDs. We offer numerous comfortably charming guest cottages/houses, In 2000/2001 we planted over 1250 Mission organic olive trees which produce our award winning extra virgin olive oil. We have traveled all over the world and love meeting new people from all cultures. Come and experience our beautiful getaway in Paicines, California.
