The first thing you will experience when you wake up at Casa Que Pasa is the blue Pacific Ocean. It will be directly in front of you as you sit up in bed. You will see and hear birds as they fly from tree to tree in front of the house. You will hear the crashing waves as they hit the rocky shore line and you will smell the sweet salty ocean air. You might just linger in bed and experience the beauty and tranquility that you have come here for.
Casa Que Pasa is a contemporary designed California beach house on a 2-acre property looking over the Pacific Ocean. The 3 bedroom house accommodates 6 people with 2 bedrooms, sitting area and bathroom on the ground floor and one bedroom with en suite bathroom, dining and living area and fully equipped kitchen on the second floor.
The house is fully appointed with: Dishes/glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans, Ninja blender, coffee maker, toaster, rice maker, micro-wave. linens, towels, WiFi - Fiber Optic 100Mbps, local telephone, washing machine and BBQ. The house has two overhang balconies on both floors giving a 180 degree view of the ocean amongst mature trees and tropical vegetation. The openness of the design, with ceiling fans in every room, allows for a constant airflow through the house creating a comfortable relaxed atmosphere in this tropical paradise. There is also air conditioning available in the three bedrooms. In front of the house you will find a plunge pool and terrace area. A welcome feature on a hot summers day or an evening dip.
A one minute walk brings you to two small beaches away from the house. These beaches are too rugged for swimming but are an amazing place to spread out a towel, relax, collect shells, and take in the surrounding beauty. When the tide is out, you can take a swim with the fish in a small tidal pool. Playa Carrillo is a 5 minute drive from the house. It is one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful pristine beaches. Its calm warm waters and golden sand are listed as one of the top 25 beaches in the world. It’s extremely safe to swim, surf or just lounge under the palm trees. Great for an early morning walk along this 2 KM beach. Or take in the sunset at the end of day.
Playa Camaronal is a 15 minute drive from the house. Here you will find a beach that is rugged with huge breakers and volcanic sand. The Costa Rican Wildlife Refuge is situated here before you enter the beach. Its main priority as a conservation organization is to protect wildlife, especially sea turtles that lay their eggs on the shores of the beach. Ridley, Green and Leatherback turtles are protected here and this is a one of the largest areas in the world to see such a variety of sea turtles.
