Worse cabin stay ever

Stayed multiple times with Bear Tootin Rentals. This was the worse cabin rented. Hot tub jets did not work, shower knob came off in hand, bed so hard had to buy a mattress topper to sleep in the bed, drive way so close to stone wall hard to pull in and out of drive, wallpaper pilling off walls on multiple places, fridge had rust on door. With all that said it was not the cleaning person fault so we thanked them and left a tip. We had a screwdriver in vehicle so fixed the shower knob ourself. We come every year for Christmas, Very disappointed with Bear tootin rentals.

Great time

We were very pleased with the property, was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the hot tub and the views. The gas logs didn’t work while we were there but maintenance came and looked but unfortunately couldn’t be fixed at the time. There was a “peak” on the top of the driveway that caused our car to “bottom out”& a pothole, but everything else was great.

Not worth it

Hard bed, we had to buy a topper. no view, nothing but trees. difficult drive, steep, and There was no where to turn around on a one lane road. The parking was hard and we had a small car. Not much as far as amenities. Evrything was cheap and old. It you want to sit at the cabin and enjoy views this is not the place to go. The hot tub worked good.

Problems

Over-all very nice cabin, but there was a bag of food left from the previous people. The table was so sticky that our paper plates stuck to the table. Wipe everything down in the kitchen.

Stay was good.

Property very clean. First day the hot tub was good but by the second day it was like there was too much chlorine. It made my eyes water and nose run. We could only use it for about 15 mins and we didn’t even want to get back in it. Property does need a little update, wall paper was peeling off the walls. Took advantage of all the free tickets we got, super easy to book online or even call and get the tickets booked. Saved us probably 200-300$ because we were going to do those activities anyways. PARKING WAS HORRIBLE AND NOT SHOWN IN THE PICTURES VERY WELL. If we would have taken more than one vehicle, there’d been no way to utilize the parking for both and be able to take whichever vehicle out. Hated the driveway. Everything else was great.

Honeymoon 2024

Very cozy cabin. Hot tub was very nice. Very secluded but a short drive from pigeon forge. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay immensely. The only complaint we had was the couch needed a good cleaning and the cover blanket on the bed didn't look like it had been washed but it had a washer/ dryer so it was no big deal throwing it in their. If your looking for a secluded getaway in the mountains I highly recommend this cabin

Cabin Fever in Spring

Great cabin! Small clean, easy check-in process and free tickets to local activities. I called and reserved a 1 Dollywood pass no problem. The jacuzzi was great and clean. Location is great for visiting Pigeon Forge, TN. The trees being bare made cabin feel less remote. I would say we had a great experience overall. Improvements that could be made: The lights switches aren’t marked so that took a bit to figure out over head light and fan. We have 3 dogs and the landscape is limited so a must to pick up your dog’s deposits. I can say I stepped in a few deposits while walking my dogs from previous guest. We attempted to use the Hot Tub but the chlorine smell was so strong we couldn’t use it. We were both coughing from the fumes when we removed the cover.

Dirty

When we arrived after driving 4 hours the cabin was not cleaned. Good on the table and couch, bed still slept in and dirty towels in the bathroom. Called maintenance who made it clear I woke him up, finally they gave us a different cabin, we drove a distance to the other cabin. We finally got settled in around 1 in the morning.

Our stay

It was a good stay. But the hot tub could have been hotter.should be able to turn the temp on how we like it. Then our heat quit working. It was 42° in the cabin. On top of the heat not working the fire place went out as well. Need air fresheners because it smelled.

It was good...

The property is clean, yes the wallpaper is peeling but we don't care about that. We didn't really use the dishes. The view is great. The cabin stayed warm at night even without running the heat high. There is a pothole at the end of the driveway, it's not a huge deal if you don't go over it the wrong way. Entire road is a little steep and narrow but not a huge deal. Access is easy with a door code so you don't have to worry about a key. The hot tub was fine the first couple of nights but then all the sudden it was turning my darker gray swimsuit pink so i had to throw it away. The chlorine smell was suddenly so strong as well. I submitted a maintenance request on their app they suggested to download but no response. I emailed the next day and they responded but it still wasn't fixed before we left. Other than that, the stay was good. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the cabin but the hot tub was nice after long, hard walks.

Over All Extremely Satisfied

Road to the cabin is extremely narrow & steep with a huge pothole right at the beginning of the driveway making entering and exiting hard. & the wall paper is peeling & the bed is hard, you’d think with the amount of money they are making weekly, the owner would fix these easy fixes Other then that it’s a nice cabin. In a great location over all ld give this cabin a 6/10 rating

Cabin fever stay

Everything was great about this cabin. Nice cozy and made you feel at home. It was beautiful inside and out. I think the only complaint my partner and I had was the pothole right in front of the driveway. If you have a low car more than likely you will scrape when getting out. Getting out can be a bit challenging as well just because of the narrow road. Other than that it was perfect 👍
