Could be wonderful.

The gite was in a great position on the hill with superb views. It was lovely to sit outside in the sun. It was handy to the shops. We didn’t mind walking up the stairs to reach the gite. Most streets in Cauteret are steep. We were surprised to see that the gite lacked basic amenities such as cleaning materials, spare toilet paper, spare garbage bags, soap in the bathrooms, tea-towels and bath mats. We did supply our own sheets and towels but had expected these other things to be supplied, as they are in most rental properties. The beds were comfortable but the seats in the living-room were not. Overall we were happy with our stay. With a bit more attention to detail, the gite could have been wonderful.

Super sejour dans cette maison. Les + Tres tres bien située : quelques minutes a pied du centre-ville, mais en hauteur a labri de tout bruit 5chambres confort Tout propre et chaleureux Grand plan de travail et grande table Magnifique vue Désagrément des maisons qui ont le charme du bois : on entend en haut ce qui se dit en bas, et l escalier craque

Chalet cauterets

Chalet sympa qui demande à être amélioré en équipement ménager (appareils raclette, fondu...) peut-être mettre un insert dans la cheminée car on ne peut pas s'en servir et ce Chalet est energivore. Le plus gros point noir est l'accessibilité. Mais nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. Merci au propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et son amabilité. Mme grolleau

Tout s'est bien passée. Le propriétaire des lieux est disponible . J'apporte quand même une précision sur l'accès au gîte qui n'est pas du tout pratique avec un bébé .55 marches à monter .par contre la vue est magnifique

Emplacement exceptionnel.

Le chalet est très agréable, bien conçu. Situé juste au dessus de Cauterets, au calme, la vue est magnifique. Il est très facile de se déplacer à Cauterets même. Les marches d'accès sont même devenu un terrain de jeux pour les enfants, loin des voitures.

Great gite, unfortunately cut short by COVID-19

This is a great gite. As others have said, its up quite a few steps, but not a silly amount, and once you are in the gite its a lovely view over Cauterets. And the gite has everything needed. The gite was clean, and the owner was very helpful. He even offered us the same week next year for free (or a week at the end of this season) as we had to leave after 2 days this time due to the COVID-19 and the lockdown. Thats a very generous offer. So thank you very much M. Bergeret We go to Cauterets quite often for skiing and walking, and this will now be the top place to stay is there is a group of us. I highly recommend this accommodation.

La maison est agréable mais peu de commodité avec des poussettes et je trouve regrettable de louer une maison pour 10personnes sans prévoir les ustensiles de cuisine adaptés pour 10 pas de grand plat peu de vaisselle plaque trop petite pour cuisiner pour 10

Maison agréable pour un séjour sympa à Cauterets

Maison très agréable, bien exposée. Bonne literie. La maison est bien placée par rapport aux commerces et au télécabine si on accepte de monter ou descendre les escaliers. Nous étions 9 et avons passé un très bon séjour.

Bonne impression concernant le logement.

Propriété très correcte rien à faire remonter de négatif propriétaire super sympa. Seul Bémol l'accès. Par contre concernant la ville de CAUTERETS là il y a à revoir route non déneigées manque de Parking accès Pont d'Espagne pas de car régulier attente trop longue. Station fermée la semaine complète sauf le vendredi après-midi. Je ne recommanderai pas cette station et n'y reviendrai pas non plus.

Gite idéal pour de nombreuses randonnées entre amis

Logement conforme à la description. L'intérieur est sobre et très convivial; l'espace commun manque tout de même d'un peu de confort et les chambres à l'étage manquent d'espace de rangement. Le tout fait assez "rustique", en cohérence avec le village et la région. Le gite est situé sur les hauteurs de la ville, il faut de bons efforts pour gravir les marches y menant mais la vue y est splendide et on y profite du soleil. La situation géographique est super, à 5 min à pied du centre de Cauterets où vous trouverez tout le nécessaire. Le gite est même sur le point de départ d'une randonnée grimpant vers les anciens thermes de Pauze et la magnifique cascade du Lutour. Un bémol: pour se garer près du gite en pleine saison c'est assez rocambolesque! Les places dans les ruelles sont prises d'assaut. Plus globalement, Cauterets est un très beau village en été, nous étions un groupe de 7 amis et avons profité pleinement de son centre-ville, de son spa, et surtout des nombreuses randonnées absolument dépaysantes aux alentours: ne manquez pas le Pont d'Espagne, le Lac de Gaube, et le Cirque de Gavarnie!
