In Calheta you will find guarded public beach with all beach activities, big supermarket “pingo doce”, about 7 different restaurants including Calheta Beach hotel**** and Savoy Saccharum hotel***** beach bars/restaurants. Nearby you will enjoy visiting places like modern Museum of Art, authentic "Aguardente de Cana" factory (where tourists from Funchal come for Excursions) and the Calheta Harbor where you can book your "Animal watching" trip, fishing, sail or boat excursion.
