This 2 bedroomed house has a spacious, well furnished living/dining room, with air conditioning & open aspect to modern kitchen.
Satellite TV, DVD & DVDs, CD player & CDs, books, games, wi-fi provided. The shaded terrace leads directly from the living room onto beautiful, secure, tropical gardens & the communal swimming pool. Ideal for outdoor living, there is a large patio table, patio chairs, beach equipment, barbeque & sun loungers.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, extractor fan, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. There is an outside laundry area with clothes drying space, washing line & washing machine at the rear of the property.
A separate toilet, with wash basin is also on the ground floor.
On the first floor, the double bedroom has air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, built-in wardrobe & French doors to large, tiled balcony overlooking the gardens & pool. The second bedroom has twin beds, air conditioning, built-in wardrobe & ceiling fan. The bathroom is fully tiled, with bath, separate shower, toilet, towel radiator and washbasin.
The property: re-decorated & re-furnished, with a modern kitchen fitted, this property still retains a Spanish feel, with traditional tiled floors and staircase. Every effort has been made to provide facilities to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and feel like a real 'home from home. Bed linen, duvets (with lighter throws in summer months) and bath/hand towels are provided.
The property sleeps 4-6 people - one twin bedroom, one double bedroom on the first floor & a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge, providing space for the additional 2 guests at a supplement. A curtain can be pulled across the lounge at night to provide privacy for guests using the sofa bed. A travel cot and high chair are also provided free of charge.
Relaxing outside, enjoying the weather, gardens & pool is a big part of a holiday here.
The gardens & communal pool area are secure, making them ideal for families - you can sit on the shaded terrace, eat or laze in the sun right outside your own door. The long stretch of sandy beach is a 2/3 min walk (approx 200 metres) for when you fancy a change of scenery.
Supermarket, small selection of bars/restaurants and the bus stop is a 2 min walk. Awarded a place 40 in the 'World's 50 Best Restaurant' awards and with now 3 Michelin stars, Quique Dacosta restaurant is situated just outside our urbanisation at the El Poblet complex.
Denia: There are 20kms of beach in Denia, mostly long stretches of sand with rockier coves to the south at Les Rotes. Year after year, they are awarded blue flag status for their clean sands & sea. Numerous good quality restaurants & bars are found along the beach & a good choice of water sports.
Denia has so much more to offer than just beaches however & as a real 'working' town has a truly Spanish feel. The 16th century castle dominates the town, overlooking Denia from a hill in the centre, the old town is a great place to wander, explore & sample many wonderful bars, restaurants & shops.
The main street in town is buzzing at night with people of all generations out to enjoy the atmosphere, promenade & sample the local cuisine.
A mixture of old & new, Denia has a fantastic choice of facilities, from a very modern hospital, spas & shops, to the weekly food market & marina.
Festivals are a big part of life here, the main ones include Las Fallas in March & Moors & Christians in August.
Out & about: Approx 1hr from both Valencia & Alicante airports, Denia is a fantastic centre to explore Costa Blanca & beyond. The tourist hotspots of Benidorm, Terra Mitica & Alicante are all within 1 hours drive & definitely worth a look. Benidorm old town is a real find, lined with tapas bars & local colour - if you like more action then you can find this in Benidorm too!
For the adventurous, a climb to the top of Calpe rock is recommended for stunning views, Javea & Moiraira resorts are also within a 30min drive & famous Guadalest has to be seen to be believed.
Slightly further afield, but still an easy day out are Elche, famous for it's palms & the town of Xativa with it's stunning mountain top castle - the historic town spreads out beneath you & invites you to explore.
The waterfalls at Algar, pretty Altea & the caves at Canolobre are also firm favourites & well worth visiting.
Montgo is the famous mountain that is said to look like an elephant & sits right next to Denia in the national park.
