8/10 Good

Comfortable stay
Very comfortable stay. House very clean. Bedrooms all good size. Living space/kitchen small but functional. Good value for money. If I was to pick a downside no services, shop etc within walking distance. But that's only a small downside.

Quiet relax
This was nice and quiet place, close to the beach, close if someone wants hiking. House is big, clean, and having 3 bathrooms was big advantage for 8 people after hiking or swimming.

Great location for exploring connemara
We stayed a week in the cottage and enjoyed it very much. Its a great location for exploring south Connemara. The local village, carna, has 2 small shop's and a couple of pubs and small hotel. Because of covid we could only eat outside but the weather was good so that was fine. The area is a good fishing area so I'd really recommend any fish that's available as it'll be really fresh. The local beaches are fantastic as well. The cottage itself has decent sized 4 bedroom's, 3 doubles and twin rooms. Wifi, PlayStation and a good selection of books provide nice options when there are kids around. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone.

Well-equipped, comfortable cottage in a lovely Connemara location
Had an excellent week staying at No 6 Glynsk Cottage. Key pickup was very easy & owner very helpful in showing how heating worked etc. It was great to find a cottage where I could bring my little dog and have an enclosed garden she could run around in. Some lovely, empty wild beaches around this area, perfect for dog-walking too. I was really pleasantly surprised how good the broadband connection was in such a remote location - I was able to combine a holiday with a couple of days 'remote' working and the connection was superfast throughout, even for video conference calls. Also good to know the cottage is wheelchair accessible for passing on recommendations. I hope to make it back again some day!
