Friendly welcome, quiet, easy access to village by foot or car. Perfect place to relax.
Jo was on hand to greet us when we arrived. The initial emails were helpful for our travel preparation and the welcome packet was straight forward. It was a lovely touch to have our cottage decorated with the festive season in mind a special bonus. The outdoor hot tub was a great place to unwind after a day of wandering. Our dog was content to sit in front of the log burner. Jo was easily accessible if we had any requests or questions and couldn’t be quicker with answers or finding solutions. The walk to the village is 10-15 minutes and a small torch—which is in the cottage— is handy if walking home after dark. We didn’t do much off road walking so can’t really offer an opinion on what is available. Overall a lovely stay if you want to kick back and relax and listen to river running outside your door.
