Quaint but spacious farmhouse overlooking horse fields just a short bike ride from Fortunes Rocks beach. Comfortable home with room for a group or large family, full kitchen, backyard and deck for meals watching the sun set. Great landing spot in a quiet location, near Maine's summer attractions such as Portland, beaches, national parks, Old Orchard Beach and others, as well as the downtown of Biddeford and the beautiful beach community at Biddeford Pool. New this year are an outdoor shower and air conditioning! There is a king and double upstairs, and downstairs rooms each have a twin bed with trundle underneath- so sleeps up to 8.
This is our home, so renters should not expect not a hotel-level experience. Previous renters have been satisfied with the homey but humble comforts provided.

This is our fourth year staying here—we love it. So close to amazing beaches but feels like you’re in the country. We love the set up of the home. The owners are kind and responsive. We can’t wait to go back.
We had a lovely stay! Beautiful gardens and outdoor space and a kitchen with everything we needed. Easy access to Portland and the Kennebunk beaches (where we found it easy to find free street parking), and we took a quick drive over to Fortune’s Rock Beach every night for sunset.

Vacation near the Biddeford Pool beaches
Great location near the beaches. Property owner was great to work with. The listing identified the house as a farmhouse and it had a farmhouse feel. Owners We’re finishing the clean up when we arrived. We knew the property is a home, but the property and house was not as clean and tended to as we were expecting upon arrival.

Disgusting and filthy
My husband and I stayed one night and left the first morning. I have photos that I am not to attach. I contacted the property manager, the owner. She apologized when I told her it was absolutely filthy and wrote in the message I would receive a total refund. A couple days later she said she spoke to her husband and asked me questions and said they could not refund the payment. VRBO was not helpful either. I sent pictures and they said I should dispute the charges on my credit card. matted balls of hair, filthy bath mats, hair in the sheets and smelly pillowcase, flies all over the kitchen, toilets that had scum on them. Disgusting.
This was a perfect place for our family of four to stay during a low key late summer getaway in Maine. Located next to a mustang rescue farm, the quiet rural countryside provided privacy, nature, and beautiful sunsets for us to enjoy. Only 10 mins from town and 5 mins to the beach, it was a perfect, central location to explore Biddeford, Kennebunkport and beyond. The house had 4 comfortable bedrooms, air conditioning, cozy hang out spaces, and even an outdoor shower. We'd definitely recommend it for anyone staying for a few days in the local area. Thanks!
We have been coming to Maine for 7 years staying lots of places on the southern coast from York to Saco. This home was by far our favorite! It had great space for my husband, myself and our two daughters (14 & 10) to have our own areas or all hanging out together. We loved the upstairs family room with comfy couches and piano! Kitchen had everything you could need, we are folks that line to cook and we typically have to buy/bring spices but had all the basics! Upstairs main bedroom had the most comfortable king size bed we have slept in away from home!! There are books galore to browse and we overall just felt at home and immediately relaxed. We LOVED how close we were to the beach less than 5 minute drive. Bridget (host) left great recommendations for restaurants as well. Loved our time here and will definitely be back!
We were absolutely charmed by this perfect coastal cottage, complete with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking dinners together. We loved the quick trek to the beach (5 minutes by car) and the nearby Sebago Lake (about 1 hour by car), as well as nearby Portland and Kennebunkport. A perfect, off-the-grid location for taking in a relaxing rural Maine experience, without missing out on the restaurants of Portland and charm of KPT!
We loved this house, and we hope to book again next summer. The house is comfortable, and we loved the style and artwork. The house was great for kids, and the upstairs felt like the adult retreat. In addition to the horses, there were turkeys, geese, etc around. The porch and outdoor shower were great. This house was so much better than the other houses we’ve tried that cost much more. And, it was only 5 minutes to our favorite beach. Communication was easy and they were very accommodating with a few requests we had. Highly recommend!
Our stay was excellent: the house had everything we needed and enough space for eight of us to spread out. Bridget was available for questions, though I tried not to pester her.
My boyfriend and I stayed here with his two kids and my two kids (ages 8-16).... so we weren’t a small group. Lol. There was plenty of room to eat meals, play games and watch TV together yet still have the space to get away and have privacy when needed/wanted. Having two full bathrooms helped a lot as well with the 6 of us especially after days at the beach when we all needed showers. The mustang rescue ranch next door was a pleasant surprise because I thought the property with horses was a distance away. The ranch finished putting up fencing behind the renters property The week we were there and we were able to see the horses even closer than before. Everyday there were picture opportunities with the horses and backyard. Overall a wonderful stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent the property again in the future if we vacationed in the area again.
I'd rent again. 1.5 miles from the beach. Beautiful spot.

Great Get Away
The house had everything you could ask for - all the amenities needed for our stay. The house was big enough to comfortably fit all that stayed on and off during the visit. The surrounding area added to the relaxation of the vacation
The beach was a short drive (less than one mile) and was never crowded the week we stayed. Getting a parking pass from the local PD was effortless - less than 10 minutes.
Again great place to stay for a relaxing vacation - looking to book again next year!!!
