Great location in this small village

We are hikers and were happy for the options for various hikes along the Rota Vincentina. The house was at the end of the road therefore pretty quiet. We really enjoyed the outside deck. The parking was a challenge and we ended up parking in an outlying lot. It was fun to be there during the Easter Celebration. Pedro was very responsive with any issues that occurred. We would stay here again if in the area.

Wunderbarer Urlaub am Atlantik

Wir hatten eine grandiose Zeit in Odeceixe. Das Häuschen war gemütlich und komfortabel. Als Ausgangsort für Wanderungen sehr gut geeignet, unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Odeceixe

Das Haus ist sehr schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Dachterasse und Kaminofen sind eine wunderbare Kombination an mal sonnigen, mal kühlen Frühlinstagen. Die Lage am Ortsrand und der Blick ins Grüne haben uns sehr gefallen. Pedro und Catia sind außergewöhnlich aufmerksame Gastgeber. Der Kontakt war immer sehr freundlich und verbindlich. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!

Immaculate property. Great location.

Schöne Tage in Odeceixe

Wir haben als Familie eine sehr schöne Woche in Odeceixe verbracht. Das Haus war gut eingerichtet, besonders schön war die Terrasse mit Blick aufs grüne Tal. Die Kommunikation mit Pedro war angenehm. Besonders die Strände in der Umgebung haben uns begeistert, einfach traumhaft! Und das Dorf Odeceixe ist ein ganz tolles authentisches Dorf wo man alles nötige kriegen und abends nett essen gehen kann. Wir können das Haus und die Umgebung unbedingt empfehlen, auch in der Corona Zeit kein Problem!

Wunderschönes Haus im Dorf

Ein wunderschönes , geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Haus mit allem nötigen Komfort. Im Sommer sicher ideal und herrlich kühl. Dazu eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Wir waren Anfang Januar da, Wetter und Umgebung waren herrlich, einzige Einschränkung : wie in allen Häusern ringsum war es sobald die Sonne untergegangen war, recht kühl und sehr feucht. Die Vermieter haben uns aber mit mehreren Heizkörpern und einem Luftentfeuchter versorgt. Sehr freundliche Betreuung !

Schöner Herbsturlaub

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief sehr gut und auf Fragen wurde umgehend geantwortet. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber und hat eine charmante kleine Dachterrasse, die wir bei herrlichster Oktobersonne viel genutzt haben. Im Herbst haben wir uns am Abend aber auch über die Heizung bzw. den Kamin gefreut, da die Wohnung durch die feuchte Meeresluft ansonsten etwas klamm wurde.

Wieder ein toller Urlaub in Odeceixe

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal in Pedros Haus und wieder war es einfach wunderschön! Die Einrichtung , die Dachterrasse, die Lage, die super funktionierende Kommunikation........alles toll! In der Umgebung findet man die schönsten Strände! Relaxen pur! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Nettes Häuschen in ruhiger Ortsrandlage mit Blick

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Kontakt zu Vermieter, immer schnelle Antwort und Hilfe. Häuschen klein, niedlich, bescheiden, aber ordentlich, neutral und sauber ausgestattet, Kleine Einschränkung: Spülmaschine wäre toll, stand aber auch nicht in der Beschreibung. Viel saubere Wäsche inklusive Handtücher, ruhige Lage mit sehr schönem Blick von der Terrasse ins Grüne und über das Dorf. Fussläufig alles in Odeceixe erreichbar. Strand Odeceixe vor allem mit Kindern total schön, weil abwechslungsreich durch den Fluss und den Übertritt zum Nachbarstrand bei Ebbe. Nette Strandbars. Unglaublich schöne Landschaft, die auch im Sommer nicht karg ist, sondern saftig und duftend! Anfang Juli auch nicht superheiss und frische Nächte. Alle Strände wunderschön und nie richtig voll, jeder Strand hat seinen eigenen Charme.

Lovely house!

The house is beautiful, neat and well equipped. It's location is great: quiet, next to the forest, still very close to the village. House owner is very nice and helpful, he allways answered quickly to my enquiries and gave good tips too. My only grievance is that the house was slightly chilly and damp (in April), yet the bedrooms were nice and warm with electric heaters.

Tolles Haus! Sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und neu

Das Haus war sehr sauber und praktisch durchdacht. Pedro war sehr zuvorkommend. Alles Nötige war vorhanden inkl. Sonnenschirm, Strandtennis und Pokerkoffer. Im kleinen Laden im Dorf konnte man sich auf dem Heimweg versorgen - das Porco Pretto ist vom Eigentümer- sehr gut! Ein Minus war die Parksituation, denn am Wochenende ist im Dorf der Parkplatz gern voll. Auch am Strand sind die Parkplätze limitiert. Der Strand bietet durch den Fluss, bei dem man sich bei Flut hineintreiben lassen kann einen Zusatzspass. Störend nur, wie oft, die Wohnmobile, die am Flussufer campieren. Aber dafür ist der Strand wirklich sehr schön!

Das besondere Ferienhaus

Wir hatten wunderbar entspannte, genussvolle Ferientage in dem ästhetisch und funktional sehr gut renovierten Dorfhaus am Rande von Odeceixe. Das Dorfzentrum mit Geschäften, Bauernmarkt und Restaurants ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Beim Frühstück oder beim Lesen auf der Dachterrasse haben wir den Blick auf ein sattes grünes Tal und den Duft von Sträuchern und Feigenbäumen genossen. Ein Spaziergang durch Odeceixe auf der lang gewundenen Dorfstraße den Hang hinauf, an der schön renovierten Windmühle vorbei zu dem ausgezeichneten Tapas-Restaurant "Altinho" lohnt sich zu jeder Tageszeit. Dabei ist der Blick auf das Flusstal hinunter eindrucksvoll. Der Strand von Odeceixe ist für uns einer der landschaftlich schönsten Badestrände an der portugiesischen Atlantikküste. Pedro ist ein perfekter Vermieter und Gastgeber - immer schnell erreichbar, immer freundlich und großzügig, immer hilfsbereit, extrem unkompliziert. Das waren ganz besondere Sommerferien.

Relaxing holiday with wonderful beaches and great food

Pedro and Catia are great hosts which gave us lovely great recommendations for beaches and food, the house is inside of modern nice style and the roof top is great to enjoy the sun, read books or relax in the evening, restaurants are a few minutes away by walking, odeceixe is nice little town with a windmill and great beach, and you can start from here walking roues from rota vicentina, to,have a small rented car is also nice to have to reach other wonderful,beaches or e.g. In 40 minutes in sagres. Surfing is also great to do im odeceixe and aljezur. Thank you for this great place. We will come again. Obrigado, we love portugal.

Delightful!

We loved our stay in this charming house. Very comfortable, with a delightful rooftop terrace for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Cosy wood stove for cool nights. Excellent shower! Nearby beach is beautiful, and cliff walks along the coast offer breathtaking views. Owner is very pleasant and responsive to questions and gave us super helpful advice on great local restaurants and places to visit. Odeceixe is not to be missed...we would definitely come again.
