The first floor includes laundry room, office, and bedroom with en suite bathroom. The second floor affords beautiful views with an open concept floor plan including great room, veranda, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom (Ca King Bed) and en suite bathroom. There are numerous westward facing windows with partial ocean views and amazing sunsets. A great house in a great location hidden away in downtown La Jolla; a jewel within the jewel!

Great place and location!

We had a great time staying at John's house. We stayed there for a month, working remotely while enjoying San Diego and La Jolla. The house is beautiful and has a lot of space, we enjoyed the terrace. And it is walking distance from a lot of beaches and plenty of restaurants / supermarkets in LA Jolla. I would 100% go back. John is a great host.

Beautiful beach home!

We absolutely loved John’s home in La Jolla - it was in the perfect location, walking distance to amazing food (Pescador, Pamir Kebab, Taco Stand) and the beach. It was spacious with a beautiful balcony with sunset views. It was the perfect place to spend a few months enjoying San Diego.

Great house wonderful owner

The house was better than the pictures the top floor which includes the living room dining room kitchen and master bedroom is wonderful open airy and the patio right outside is has comfortable chairs. The garden is beautiful and the second bedroom opens on to it. There are stairs to the second floor fo if you have a a disability it would be difficult. Great restaurants around the corner about 4 blocks to the Wind and Sea beach. This place is a bargain friends and I loved it.

Amazing Property in Fantastic Location!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in La Jolla! The house was perfectly situated for our family. The house was immaculate and had beautiful views of the ocean. It was also in a great location - close to a place where my kids could go to the beach, nearby parks, or dine-out at local restaurants. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. They provided all the information we needed in advance to prepare us to have a wonderful time. They were so lovely to talk to and so supportive for anything we needed. We couldn't recommend this house more and will definitely be coming back!

Great house in a great location

The house has beautiful high ceilings and plenty of daylight. The view from the deck is beautiful. It is a spacious, comfortable place. We felt right at home. The location is excellent, yet parking was never a problem--a rare combination for La Jolla!

Top quality spacious lux furnishings ocean views walk to La Jolla Village and Beaches

This is a spacious, luxury single family home in La Jolla Village situated among similar homes in the neighborhood. We enjoyed many easy walks to La Jolla center, Bird Rock and the beaches. The house and garden are perfectly maintained and furniture, TV, etc. are highest grade. The spaciousness of the house is apparent from the open floor plan and very high ceilings throughout. Views to the west of the Pacific are especially nice at sunset. We enjoyed dining al fresco on the west facing terrace as well as the garden. In addition, we enjoyed entertaining a large group for dinner using the unique the eight-place dining table and chairs. The owner provided this residence in top condition and cleanliness with everything working properly and with instructions that were easy to follow. We had one minor question about the workings of an electrical appliance and the owner was immediately responsive. We are veterans renters of HomeAway properties and the like around the world and would rate this experience as tops among these. We hope we can do this again in the future.

It was wonderful !

The property was as advertised! The owner was very helpful went our garbage disposal broke and got it fixed quickly! The location was great. We could walk everywhere! We will be back when we visit La Jolla.

Great location and fantastic Owner!

We stayed at John's property on and off for over 4 months at the end of last year when we were in between houses and Countries. The property itself is in an amazing location. Walking distance to everything in La Jolla and transport close by for those who need it. It's quiet, private, clean and modern. We had our 1 year old son and dog with us who both loved the property too. In addition to lovely and furnishings and loads of amenities the owner is just great! We had a few problems like you do with any property but they were always dealt with quickly, efficiently and with kindness which is extremely rare! I can honestly say that John was the most hospitable and generous landlord we've ever come across. At first we looked at this property online and just thought the rate was a little too good to be true so looked at others first. Once we viewed it we were impressed! I will say that the unavailability of the master on the top floor and the garage is missed, but that is why the price is so good and as you know up front it works fine. There is still plenty of space and lots of parking out the front. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel so welcome in your home. We'd highly recommend!
