Chamonix 348 est une maison alpine moderne, spacieuse, lumineuse et récemment rénovée avec une vue incroyable à 360 degrés sur toute la vallée de Chamonix.

C'est notre maison, pas une propriété de location, donc nous n'avons pas des lits dans chaque coin - nous offrons la propriété que nous l'utilisons, avec une chambre principale élégante, une belle chambre avec un vue imprenable sur le Mont Blanc, une chambre d'enfants amusante avec une mezzanine et une salle polyvalente au rez-de-chaussée avec un canapé-lit. Veuillez noter que le canapé-lit mesure seulement 175 cm de long et ne conviendrait donc probablement pas à un couple d'adultes.

Les trois chambres à l'étage ont des salles des bains ensuites, chacune avec leur propre caractère individuel. La chambre en bas utilise la salle de bain commune à côté.

Le corps principal de la maison est un grand espace ouvert et lumineux incorporant la cuisine, la salle à manger et le salon.

Le projet de l'architecte était de créer une «maison alpine moderne», pas un chalet, et c'est exactement ce que 348 est - si vous aimez un chalet en bois traditionnel, 348 n'est probablement pas pour vous. Si vous aimez le contemporain, blanc scandi avec quelques touches classiques, alors j'espère que c'est exactement ce que vous cherchez.

Nous devons également être totalement honnêtes, et souligner que «récemment rénové» signifie que la maison n'est pas terminée à 100%! Toutes les caractéristiques principales sont faites (la maison est chaude et sèche!), Mais vous remarquerez probablement des détails de finition pour lesquels nous n'avons pas vraiment trouvé le temps, tels que de petites plinthes manquantes (quelqu'un a-t-il déjà fini)? et de petites zones de décoration. Pour cette raison, nous offrons la maison à ce que nous croyons être un prix très juste.

Chamonix 348 is a newly-renovated, spacious, light-filled, modern Alpine home with incredible 360-degree views of the entire Chamonix valley.

It is our home, not a rental property, so we haven't tried to shoe-horn beds into every corner - we offer the property as we use it, with a stylish master bedroom, a beautiful guest room with a stunning wake-up view of Mont Blanc, a fun-filled kids room with its own play-mezzanine, and a downstairs mixed-use room with a pull-out sofabed. Please note that the sofabed is only 175cm long and therefore would probably not suit an adult couple.

All three upstairs bedrooms have ensuites, each with their own individual character. The downstairs room uses the communal bathroom next to it.

The main body of the house is a huge, bright, open-plan area incorporating the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.

The architect's brief was to come up with a 'modern Alpine home', not a chalet, and that's exactly what 348 is - if you like a traditional, wall-to-wall wooden chalet feel, then 348 is probably not for you. If you like contemporary, scandi-white with some classical touches, then hopefully it is just what you are looking for.

We must also be totally honest, and point out that 'newly renovated' means that the house is not 100% finished! All the main features are done (the house is warm and dry!), but you will probably notice finishing details that we haven't quite found time for, such as small missing bits of skirting (does anybody ever finish all of those?) and small areas of decoration. For this reason we are offering the house at what we believe is a very fair price.

Joe and I met here in Chamonix New Year’s Eve 2007 and decided to move here permanently as we fell in love with Chamonix as we were falling in love with each other. We have never regretted either!
I am Swedish and Joe is British. We both work away so it’s a constant juggling, but it’s worth it for living here.

Why they chose this property

We loved where is situated. It’s the end of a small track in a very nice hamlet of chalets and we have the most incredibly views. There is also a sizeable garden for the children to play with a trampoline, swings and the new interest, a football goal!

What makes this property unique

The views without a shadow of a doubt. It was a house from 1969 which we lived in for a couple of years before renovating. We now think we have created a brilliant family home that is modern yet homely.
