Excellent short stay for our Honeymoon
We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage during our honeymoon! It was incredibly easy to find and completely hassle-free from check-in to check-out. The location is perfect—close to all amenities while still offering a peaceful and cozy retreat. Parking was conveniently available, making our stay even more stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Nice cottage, but sleeping conditions not great
The cottage was lovely and the hosts provided the majority of what we expected. They were very kind and provided prosecco which was a lovely touch. The cottage was very clean and welcoming, but there were two big issues for me. 1. A lot of black mould on the upstairs windows which were tricky to open and close as the handles were not secure. Black mould is dangerous, particularly if you are allergic to it. 2. No additional blankets were provided which wasn't ideal as it's not nice to keep the central heating on and sleep in a hot environment. The duvet supplied was summer weight thin, but we stayed in February. It's not difficult to remover black mould from windows and have at least one window that can be opened easily for ventilation. Extra blankets in winter is normal and we were shocked none were provided. Would recommend the property for summer only

Perfect stay in cosy, well-located cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cornerstone Cottage. It was so clean, homely, cosy and beautiful with everything you could think of provided. The cosy, private garden was lovely and the dedicated parking was a lifesaver. Five minute walk onto the main street was great. The bed was super comfy, the bedding felt great and it had a lovely vibe waking up in the morning, so relaxing and quiet. We would absolutely recommend this cottage!

Needs An Update
Regretfully this was not a cottage stay up to our expected standard, there was a musty smell on arrival, although first impression was it was clean the detail was missing. Inside cupboards need a clean, hob extractor was greasy and only one of two lights worked, window frames needed a fresh lick of paint and in places greater refurbishment as difficult to close, when tidying sofa found bits of biscuits down the back, garden was peaceful but again needs some maintenance.

We would come again!
A clean and comfortable cottage with a pretty garden in a quiet but ideal location. Close to the town’s amenities without being in the centre and great for long walks straight from the door. Well equipped cottage although a few items lacking for self catering ie measuring jug, scales, beer glasses, liners for the food caddy and a bin in the bathroom would have been preferable. Also a Firestick was advertised which wasn’t obvious but we didn’t want to watch TV anyway so none of the above would stop us booking again!

Lovely home for a Cotswold getaway
What a place. Great space, private parking, lovely living space and bedroom and facilities. Very close to the amenities but at the same time away enough to be very quiet. Looking forward to come back again in the future!

2 night stay
We’ve stayed at the cottage for a wedding. It was moderately clean, however, it seems there might be an issue with wood lice as there were quite a lot of them inside the cottage in the evening. When we tried calling a taxi service from the booklet in the cottage, most numbers were out of service. Overall a nice stay, the cottage could be updated a little though.

Lovely Cotswold cottage set in a garden
The cottage is behind High Street in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, arguably the most iconic town in all of the Cotswold Hills. It is set in a lovely garden near the main house yet is absolutely private. The cottage is immaculate, the bathroom truly superb, the kitchen set up with up-to-date appliances. Everything was first class.

Short but lovely stay in Cornerstone Cottage
This is our second time staying at Cornerstone Cottage. Lovely cottage with gorgeous garden to sit in while having an evening meal or morning cup of coffee. Bed is super comfortable and location is perfect. If you are tall, you may have issues with hitting your head on the beams in the bedroom. Not too much of a problem for us. Parking is on sight which is a plus. Some coffee pods and tea/sugar await you, as does fresh milk. Much appreciated. Great to also have a washing machine and drying rack. Great accommodation in Chipping Campden.

Absolutely perfect!
My husband and I adored Cornerstone Cottage! The furnishings are cozy and appealing with attention to detail making it feel more like home than a rental. It has all of the things you hope to find in accommodations- privacy, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, a large shower with good water pressure,well-appointed kitchen - plus everything is spotlessly clean. The bedroom has the rarest and most appreciated of amenities - a vanity table situated in front of a bright window with an adjacent electrical outlet, as well as a portable magnifying mirror. The private garden area is a special treat. There is a dedicated parking space right behind cottage My only complaint is that, when I requested to alter our reservation by reducing our 13 night stay to 12 nights (many months in advance) the property manager agreed but did not refund our money for that night.

A gem of a cottage
Had a lovely stay at this fab cottage tucked away behind the high street of Chipping Campden. Peaceful location but with easy access to the bars and restaurants. Gorgeous garden area to dine alfresco or just loll about in the sun (we were lucky to have fab weather). Cottage has everything you need to make it a great stay. Owners very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Loved it and will definitely return.

Great stay at this cottage. Has everything you need and just a short walk into the town which has a couple of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend for a stay in the Cotswolds as you are central to all the places of interest.

Short Break Stay in quiet surroundings
Having stayed in Hotels in Chipping Campden a number of times, it was a such a delight to have the use of Cornerstone cottage for a few days once we remembered the small step from the kitchen to the lounge. I have just a couple of suggestions : as the bathroom is downstairs it would have been helpful to have, a plug-in night light to help during the night and a clothe hook behind the door of the bathroom. Apart from these small details our stay re affirmed our love Chipping Campden and the Cotsworlds.

Gorgeous town
A lovely spacious cottage with a very private patio/courtyard with many flowering perennials and shrubs. The parking was just perfect and Cornerstone just a short distance from the impressive town. However .... whilst the bed linen was just fine the bed itself would benefit from a much needed, in our opinion, a new higher quality mattress as the existing one is not particularly comfortable. I should add that my wife and I weight wise fall into the ‘slim’ category!! The other disappointment was the fact that only the handheld shower head seems to be functional. Either that or we in our seventies didn’t operate it correctly! Having said that it did, on the plus side deliver plenty of hot water. Lastly we arrived too late on a Monday to put the refuse/recycling out for collection and it was obvious this had not been done for quite some time as the bins were close to overflowing and rather smelly. Such a shame as we would really have liked to give you five stars. All this aside we did however have a most enjoyable time in Chipping Campden and the surrounding areas.

A Great Few Days
We stayed at Cornerstone Cottage for a few days at the end of March, excellent accommodation very comfortable, warm, clean, and a short walk to the village. Would recommend visiting the Court Barn Museum and the Silk Mill in Chipping Campden. Good shops to look round and coffee shops to stop at. A walk along the Cotswolds Way to Dovers Hill is worth the walk for the spectacular views. Love the Cotswolds will return soon.
