Villas Guilena ,comprising of the Main house ,Guest house and separate Apartment accommodating up to 10 persons, are located in the beautiful mountain valley of Melanes. Peaceful with only the sound of goat bells yet only 15 minutes drive from the stunning beaches of Agia Anna and Agios Prokopios and a short walk from a mini market and some inviting local tavernas.

The Main and Guest Villas each have a double and twin bedroom,and the Apartment has a large double which can be twin beds also.
They can be rented without the Apartment if this suits your group size better.
Enjoy our pool with its panoramic mountain views,bask in the uninterrupted sunshine and eat al fresco on our terraces. Quite a perfect setting!

Environnement paisible

Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes et avons loué les 3 logements. Notre hôte a été très réactive et nous avons beaucoup apprécié sa disponibilité. Le logement principal est très sommaire surtout quand il sert de maison principale pour un groupe. L’endroit est calme et la voiture est obligatoire pour aller faire quelques courses. L’île de Naxos est un très bel endroit à visiter avec ses plages splendides.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Naxos La villa est parfaitement située, dans un environnement calme Une maison pour chaque couple et une maison pour les adolescents La piscine est de taille correcte Nous avons eu beaucoup de vent à la fin du séjour, il a fallu nettoyer la piscine régulièrement Je conseille cette location

Highly recommend

This is an accurately described property in a good location, with a helpful and responsive host. A consistent breeze for most of the holiday compensated for the lack of aircon and the pool was clean and refreshing.

Magnifique séjour à Villas Guilena

C'est une maison de rêve composée de plusieurs "cottages". Nous étions un groupe de 8, avec adultes et enfants. Nous avons tous trouvé notre bonheur pour un séjour qui nous laisse des souvenirs inoubliables. Lesley nous a aidé même lorsque nous avons eu des soucis de dernière minute. Merci pour tout!

Séjour mitigé

Nous étions 2 familles. Personne ne nous a accueilli ce qui est dommage car la disposition n'est pas facile à comprendre. Nous avons passé un peu de temps pour trouver les 2 maisons annexes. C'est la seule fois en Grèce où personne ne nous a accueillis, et pourtant c'est vraiment la fois où cela aurait été utile. La répartition en 3 maisons rend compliqué l'organisation. Les couverts sont répartis entre les maisons (4, 4 et 2 personnes) et aucune table ne tient 10 personnes. Il n'est pas prévus que les repas soient pris ensemble à 10 personnes. Par ailleurs la répartition des chambres est compliquée: soit un couple se sépare en 2 pour avoir un adulte dans chaque maison, soit les enfants sont sans parents dans une maison. Les maisons étant nettement séparées, il est impossible pour un enfant de 10 ans de passer d'une maison à l'autre en pleine nuit. Par ailleurs, les lieux n'étaient pas propre du tout (les nombreuses toiles d'araignée prouvait que le ménage n'avait pas du être fait) et la vaisselle (assiette, couverts, cuillère en bois, casserole, etc.) étaient sales (nous avons dû laver de nombreuses affaires. En voulant faire le ménage nous même, nous nous sommes rendus compte que même le seau de ménage était sale. Suite à notre plainte, notre hôte a fait venir des femmes de ménage le 2è jour pendant notre absence. Nous avions vu une légère amélioration dans la maison principale mais aucune amélioration dans les 2 maisons annexes: après leur passage, il restait de la poussière (notamment sur la poubelle), de la saleté un peu partout ainsi que des araignées mortes et cafards morts un peu partout, surtout dans les 2 maisons annexes. Pour finir sur des notes positives: les parties extérieures sont agréables, la piscine est agréable (un pisciniste vient tous les 2 jours), la vue est jolie et la propriété est bien située

Great excluded place with nice pool

We had a lovely stay at Lesleys house. If you have a car it's a great spot to go around the island. The view is great and there is always a little (or hard) breeze. The pool is big enough and very clean. It's a fantastic place if you share it with two families or couples because of the seperate guesthouse and apartment. Communication with the host was always very kind, helpful and swift. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Magnifique emplacement

La propriété est tout simplement magnifique, conforme aux photos. Elle est idéale pour un groupe de plusieurs famille/couples ; chacun peut y trouver son intimité tout en partageant de bons moments. Elle est située dans les hauteurs (montagne) à 10 min à peine des plages et ville de Chora. Environnement privilégié, très calme et rural, dans un petit village avec de petites tavernes très accueillantes. Lesley est super disponible, toujours aux petits soins. Attention le coin peut-être très venteux. Le seul petit bémol possible concernerait la cuisine de la maison principale, elle pourrait être "modernisée": nouveau frigo, ustensiles, vaisselles etc....

Lovely stay

Characterful villa with great pool area as the centerpiece. Pool well maintained, cleaned multiple times during our stay. Pool is deep, great for adults and teens. Nicely separated sleeping areas to allow our group of 9 to spread out. True to photos, no surprises. Kitchens are adequate for minor meal prep. A bit more of a jaunt to the restaurants in Melanes than we were expecting (by American standards, for full disclosure!), so we drove to dinner. Host Lesley was very responsive and easy to work with. Enjoyed every part of our stay.

Un très beau séjour

Une belle villa à quelques kilomètres de la ville de Naxos, dans un secteur plutôt rural très tranquille, mais permettant de rayonner facilement vers de nombreuses plages et villages du cœur de l'Ile. Très belle piscine, vaste terrain et beau jardin paysager. Les logements séparés permettent de maintenir une intimité entre adultes et adolescents, bien pratique pour la liberté de chacun. S'il fallait une petite critique, quelques équipements mériteraient peut être d'être un peu rafraichis (matériel de cuisine, frigo logement principal, robinetterie...). Merci aussi à Lesley pour sa réactivité dans les échanges et son aide pour l'organisation du séjour (location de voitures).

Wonderful holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at the Villas in early July. We were three families and each had its own space. Everything was clean and the interior is very comfortable and held in nice colors. The pool is big and it was great to always be able to have a quick swim, especially the kids loved it! Lesley is the most kind and helpful manager, every question was answered by her right away. Melanes close by is a sweet village with nice taverns so there is no need to drive just to have dinner. Beautiful beaches could be reached in no more than 15 minutes by car. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time and will surely come back!

Beautiful village villa with versatile accommodation for groups

Stunning hillside views from very good and peaceful villa. Has variety of outside spaces that enable you to chase the sun or shade as you relax. Close to traditional village with couple of fantastic tavernas, although shop is very basic. Naxos is a more unspoilt island with some great beaches. Lesley was an excellent property manager. Overall would highly recommend.

un excellent séjour

la villa Guilena est un ensemble très bien situé en lisière d'un petit village, dans la nature loin du tumulte du bord de mer mais néanmoins a 20 minutes des plages et de la ville de Naxos. Parfaitement adaptée à une grande famille mais aussi à plusieurs couples elle réserve a chacun des espaces d'intimité. L'état général est excellent.

Beautiful family stay with fantastic location

Our extended family spent a lovely week at this property near the charming village of Melanes. The main house and guest house were perfect for our group of 7. We enjoyed morning and evening swims in the fantastic pool and trekked to different beaches across the island during the day. The location was very convenient to Naxos town, which had all the amenities necessary. The views from the house were lovely and we loved the secluded and private location away from the resort areas. The tavernas in Melanes were fantastic and the nearby hiking trails to the springs and Kouros made for a great break from the beach. We absolutely loved our time in Naxos and the memories made on the island and in the house will be cherished always!

Superbe maison, excellente localisation

Thank you so much Lesley, you made our stay fantastic ! - house is perfect for a group of 10 people : the 3 different living areas assure calm and intimacy for everyone. In the mean time, the huge outdoor area around the pool enabled us to have dinner and to chill alltogether. To be noticed : there is no real spaces inside to have a 10 person dinner (absolutely not a problem in September as we could completely live outside :) ) - Lesley is flexible and very welcoming. She was of great help to find a nice car rental company (very good prices, cars, and people!). She was available in case of any trouble. Location of the house is perfect : - 15mn rides from first beaches. It is very easy to drive in Naxos : Roads are not crowded at all and it is easy to find places to park. We found it very cool not to be « too » close to the beaches as it allowed us to discover different beaches and coasts every day ! - Beautiful landscapes and super calm area.. not crowded at all with a lot of houses. It enables tranquility.. and few nice parties without annoying anyone :) ! - Starting point of some very nice hikes. - Very nice big pool.. ! - close to traditional villages and local tavernas. Very good point ! I highly recommend this location. Thanks again Lesley.
