Come relax in this stylish Single-Story home built in 2016 in the historic district. Light, bright and impeccably clean! Lithia park with its stunning gardens, ponds, outdoor concert venue, walking paths, hiking trails and (separate) bike trails is directly adjacent to the plaza, just a 15-minute walk away.

The guesthouse has a private entrance and off-street parking. We are on a quiet street in a serene historic neighborhood. Enjoy provided coffees or a lovely local wine on your private peach-tree-shaded deck just outside your bedrooms' glass sliding doors.

Desk and ergonomically correct office chair are provided.

Resort Collection luxury towels and bedding are brand new. Lounge on comfy high-style furnishings in the spacious living and dining areas. The bathroom sports a shower/tub with rainwater shower head. The guesthouse is tucked behind a circa 1905 home, winner of an Historic Preservation Society award. Skip Ashland's parking and meander through the tree-lined historic neighborhood to the Plaza to enjoy spectacular Lithia Park, OSF free Green Shows, Cabaret Theater, Saturday farmers market, weekend Artisan Market, sidewalk shopping, dozens of restaurants, bars & breweries, and beautiful Ashland Creek. Your stroll from the guesthouse to downtown is canopied with blossoming trees and lined with summer flowers of amazing variety.

The walk is on quiet level neighborhood streets - Not on busy Main Street or Lithia Way. There are no busy streets or steep hills between here and downtown, the plaza, the park, theaters or for visiting healthcare professionals, the hospital.

In addition to theaters and restaurants, walk to the plaza to enjoy wine-tasting, free daily "Green Shows" outside at the OSF theater complex and tours of Lithia Park. Free concerts are offered in the Park in the summer. Many local groups offer wildflower walks and hikes in the surrounding hills. September Ashland getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Lisa's place. It was in a quiet, nice neighborhood, but not too far to walk to restaurants and plays downtown. The mini-split heating/cooling air handler was very quiet, but it was easy to cool the place down by opening sliding doors and windows. We loved watching the rising moon from the outdoor table and chairs. Lisa was very accommodating when we left something precious behind. We'd stay there again.

Wonderful getaway!

Lisa's guesthouse was perfect! Beautiful, clean, perfect location in a pretty neighborhood. Lisa had great suggestions for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. She even recommended a good mechanic. I was able to communicate with her very easily via text, and she made us feel so welcomed on our first trip to Oregon and the Shakespeare festival! Thank you!

Lovely Cottage in quiet neighborhood

Lovely cottage experience, nestled in a quiet, established and historic Ashland neighborhood that was fun to explore on foot. Walkable distance to OSF; took us about 20 min as we like to see the sights along the way. This cute little cottage checked all of our boxes, and then some! Kind and helpful hosts were the icing on the cake!

comfortable getaway walking distance to theatre in great neighborhood

We had all we needed in this small guesthouse which was an enjoyable walk through a lovely neighborhood to restaurants and theatre. There are 2 queen beds in one room so it's not really for 2 couples but would be fine for a few girlfriends to share or a couple and a child. Our hosts were very prompt in responding to anything we needed.

Wonderful Cottage

Our host, Lisa, was the best! She emailed a very detailed letter about the property and things to do in the area beforehand. The cottage was clean and updated with cozy beds and a cute private patio area. The neighborhood is adorable and perfect walking distance to town. We had some wi-fi issues and Lisa resolved things quickly and efficiently. We had the perfect weekend in Ashland and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, well equipped, quiet, every detail beautiful and thoughtful!

This was an ideal spot for our quick weekend in Ashland. Close enough to town for access, but far enough to get some exercise and have more quiet/less hectic energy than close to the Festival HQ. Everything is in mint condition. You feel the care and attention put into the unit.

Wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean vrbo gem; excellent hosts; great location

I thoroughly enjoyed an effortless stay in this fantastic guesthouse from the moment I opened the door. This vrbo boasts an excellent location in a well established, quiet neighborhood, with a very pleasant walk into downtown Ashland. The house was immaculately clean, open, light and bright, with a great layout and plenty of space. Everything about it felt clean and well-maintained, almost luxurious. I slept sooo comfortably, relaxed quite peacefully, and enjoyed every moment! I was able to work well remotely, walk into town whenever I wanted (often!), and spend quiet, supremely relaxing time in the cottage. On top of just a perfect visit, Lisa and Craig were incredibly gracious and welcoming hosts — available if/when needed, helpful, and friendly, plus wonderfully flexible with the shifting tides of a strange and unexpectedly extended visit. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality!

Best VRBO Stay Ever! Bright, Spotless, Gorgeous. Fabulous Location and Wonderful Hosts

Fantastic stay! This place is a total treat and a Great Value! It's bigger than it looks in the pictures, beautifully furnished, filled with natural light, and so clean every inch sparkles. The location is perfect - just a few blocks from the action of the downtown/Plaza, but in a quiet historic neighborhood with big trees and yards of flowers. The hosts were kind and helpful - they even brought over fresh strawberries from their organic garden! Plus they brought over biking and hiking maps the moment we asked. They were available if needed but we had complete privacy in our sweet nest. The deck is private, too - a great tucked away spot for coffee or just hanging out to read. We've decided to come back for a week later this summer for OSF plays. It's a really easy and pleasant walk to the theaters as well as restaurants, music, shopping and Lithia park for walking/biking/hiking. I would give this stay - the whole package including the space, location, hosts, neighborhood, quietude, cleanliness, value and privacy - 10 stars if I could! This truly the best option in southern Oregon. Grab it if you can!

Lovely cottage; wonderful hosts

Great location, cheerful place, and best of all: friendly and helpful hosts. Lisa and Craig were always available to us for questions and requests before we checked in and during our time there. Fun fact about them: he recently published a present day thriller, with quite the twist: the setting is the world of health care! “Asesina” was among several shelves of interesting books for you to dip into during your stay, thanks to Lisa, a retired librarian. You’ll enjoy them and your stay!

Starting years ago, we traveled the country and the world looking for the perfect place to call our forever home. We were looking for a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to a vibrant downtown; a welcoming community; world-class theater; an interesting foodie-scene; fabulous weather; easy access to outdoor activities and - most of all - nice people! We were only in Ashland for two days before we knew this was it. We moved here from the desert Southwest in 2009, and bought our circa 1905 home in Ashland's beautiful Historic District. After an extensive remodel of the main house, we decided it was time to share this amazing place with visitors, and built the guesthouse tucked behind our home. We can't wait to welcome you to Ashland! We are happy to show you around if you wish or let you discover Ashland's delights on your own.

Why they chose this property

It's new, it's beautiful, and unlike many of Ashland's rental properties, it's chic WithOut the "shabby"! It's in a gorgeous historic neighborhood, just a short tree-lined walk from all the action. Most important, we care about our guests. We'll do whatever we can to make your stay fabulous.

What makes this property unique

Unlike many other "walkable" locations in Ashland, there are no steep hills or busy streets between this property and downtown Ashland. It truly is a pleasant, flat walk to town and the theaters. We even stroll home after the plays at 11 p.m. through the pleasant safe neighborhood.
