"CAROLINA BREEZE" is an Oceanfront condo located on the northern end of Pleasure Island. The unit is on the second floor with a great view of the ocean. The sunrise over the beach is spectacular. Feel the Atlantic Ocean breeze and walk directly out on the beach with the public access next to the condo. Live as a Carolina Beach local. This is a wonderful place for your summer vacation, or a romantic weekend getaway. Take advantage of the a quaint Carolina beach town which embodies coastal Americana. Take a short walk to the boardwalk, pier, beach shops, and many friendly restaurants. Carolina Breeze is also available for monthly rental during the off season. Our condo is tastefully decorated, newly updated, and includes free Wi-Fi, Roku, Cable TV, a DVD player (with DVD's). There are two parking spaces. The kitchen is fully-equipped and linens and bath towels are provided for free - all you need to bring is your food. Your private oceanfront deck is perfect for dining, watching the dolphins play, or watching the pelicans soar.
The Master Bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and ensuite bath with a private balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed also. There is also a queen air mattress in the living room. The mattresses on all beds are brand new. There is a full hallway bath with a washer/dryer for your convenience. LINENS ARE INCLUDED (just bring your beach towels)
On the ground floor there is a storage closet so you can store any beach items you bring. Beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and cooler are provided for your use. Take the public access located next to the parking spots to walk onto the beach.

Boardwalk - Within walking distance you'll find the newly renovated boardwalk. Ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine, it is one of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, where you can get your fill of famous homemade donuts, ice cream, and fudge, play in the arcade, see the ocean from the Ferris wheel, or dance the night away to live music. During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, laughter and the squeals of kids of all ages as they whoosh and whirl past on the assortment of rides at the seaside amusement park and enjoy all the fun of the boardwalk. North Carolina Aquarium - The North Carolina Aquarium is a delight for all ages. Movies and programs for all are offered, and the staff is very helpful.
Cruise and fishing charters - Visit the Carolina Beach Marina down the street Take a sightseeing cruise or charter a fishing expedition. Anglers, the fishing is great! Fish on the beach, from the pier, catch a head boat, charter a boat, or launch your own at a public launch. There are many water sports to enjoy. You can rent or bring your own equipment for snorkeling, surfing and boating adventures.
On Pleasure Island you will also find the best seafood restaurants around, a park and small lake with paddle boats and walking trails, a tiki hut on the beach (you can listen to live bands), beach shops, bike rentals, and much more. In addition to the many parks, dog parks, trails and bike paths, the Carolina Beach State Park is nearly 1,000 acres of exploration and trails, including a boat launch area.
There is a bicycle path that runs along a part of the island. There are two piers on the island for fishing. Pleasure Island features various festivals throughout the year. The Spring Festival at Carolina and Kure Beaches features live entertainment, arts and crafts. Several Golf courses are located close by and there is a disc golf course at Kure Beach. There are several shops in the area featuring beach items ranging from clothing to home decor. Numerous restaurants are just a short walk from the condo and serve meals ranging from snacks and casual to more formal evening meals.
Historic Downtown Wilmington, Located 17 miles away, this port city plays host to various special events. The North Carolina Battleship Museum and riverfront cruises are in Wilmington. Stroll the waterfront, and enjoy fine dining at the numerous restaurants located on the Cape Fear River. Enjoy antiques, original art and handcrafted jewelry. Take one of the ghost tours, the guides will tell you a bit of the history of this old city, and maybe a secret or two. Horse drawn tours of the city are also available. During the summer outdoor activities are scheduled along the Wilmington riverfront. A ferryboat makes the half hour trip to the quaint town of Southport. Cars or Bicycles may be taken onto the ferry that goes from Fort Fisher to Southport, both great places to visit.
