Nice, spacious condo
Nice Condo. Spacious enough for 9 people and plenty of seating at dining table and in the living area.
Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware, utensils, containers and cookware/gadgets.
Coffee maker and keurig.
Like new washer and dryer.
Plenty of room on the balcony and enough seating.
Parking was not an issue--plenty of parking spaces available.
We never received a detailed email about the details of our stay and the facility (other than our confirmation email after we paid). With other condo rentals, I have always received something within a week of our trip just explaining check in details etc... I had to search this info out online and called the office for these details. Service reps were helpful and friendly.
If you arrive after 5pm, you have to check in next door at Phoenix VII. There is NO signage on the building to guide you to their front desk if you're walking from Phoenix VIII.
The freezer ice maker didnt make very much ice and there is no ice maker in the building. They have bagged ice for sale. ($3 or 4 per bag I believe.)
The bedrooms would benefit from having better curtains/shades to block the light. Bedrooms were all very bright early in the morning.
The floors were covered in sand when we arrived. The vacuum cleaner was not a good model for hard floors and for picking up sand. Brooms provided did not work well either for sweeping and then vacuuming sand with the vacuum attachment. We just got used to having sandy feet.
Not an impressive pool area (smaller than other condos in the area) and the lounger chairs were cheap quality.
Overall asthetically nice condo itself, but not sure we would stay at Phoenix VIII again just based on the building as a whole.
Would give the condo a 3-4 rating. Even with the negative comments, we still had fun and none of it was anything to complain to the front desk about.
