Great stay

Our 3 generation family enjoyed our stay very much. The pond is well maintained and was a great place for fishing, paddle boarding, and swimming. The house provided plenty of room for us to congregate comfortably both inside and out and the bedrooms were comfortable as well. It was well stocked with supplies and equipment. Lauren was quickly responsive to any question that we had. She was a great host.

Charming home in a beautiful setting

Our group (grandparents plus two families with children) spent a week in this lovely home. The weather was ideal, which meant we spent relatively little time inside, but the house was comfortable and met all our needs, with a well-stocked kitchen and space to accommodate the group throughout. We particularly appreciated the ground-floor main bedroom for the grandparents. We spent most of our time exploring the area, and it's a convenient location from which to do so -- in addition to visiting beaches (by car and bike), we did a whale-watching trip from Provincetown, a fishing trip from Dennis and a sunset cruise and ballgame in Hyannis. While at the house, we were generally at the large table outside, eating all our meals, playing games, and watching the children play. The pond was a huge plus and a nice break from the ocean-side beaches; we brought paddle boards with us, and the pond was the perfect spot to use them. Lauren was highly communicative throughout, and provided an immediate response on a couple of minor issues. It is an older home, but given the size, location and amenities, we thought it was a good value and would rent again.

Eastham, MA Vacation Rental

Our extended family had a great time at "The Big House" in Eastham, MA this past week in every way. The proximity to beaches and other area attractions was just as advertised. The pond located steps away from the house was even better than expected with the younger folks in our group fishing and swimming there almost every day. Our family is looking forward to our next vacation on the Cape already!

Perfect

Ideal location for us. The location and parking setup was extremely convenient for our large family. The game room, playground and pond made it extremely easy to keep our children happy whenever we were at the property. Host was outstanding and the house is setup perfectly. We couldn’t be happier!

Big group satisfied

We are an extended family of 12, including 8 kids of all ages. The house fit our needs quite well, with enough beds for all, lots of games, books and toys. The kitchen was also well-stocked with necessities. 4 stars due to location feet from the main road and the fact that the property is showing its age - doors that don’t stay closed, sticky drawers etc. But all in all, we were quite satisfied and happy with the rental.

Convenient location and plenty of room for our family group. Very well equipped for children and adults of all ages. We loved First Encounter Beach for the kids with its warm water, and tidal pools.

Great family vaca spot

We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves at Lauren’s very comfortable house. Plenty of room to spread out - large table outside and the bbq area were a big hit - as well as plenty of dining seating in the kitchen/dining room. The kids all enjoyed the TV room immensely and hung out all hours. And a fantastic location to boot - with the pond being a great escape! The only thing I would say is it was hard to understand the layout of the house from the listing...but all good!

Great house for a group

This house is wonderful in so many respects. Very comfortable for our group of 13 adults and kids. It has everything you might need, and the pond is lovely. The only drawback is that the house is only a few yards from Route 6. There is big deck and outdoor area in back to relax and play, but the noise of constant traffic is quite present when you're outside.

This is our second summer staying in the Big House at Nauset Haven. Our family of 11 enjoyed meals and games on the deck. The weather was perfect- we spent every day at Marconi. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us.☀️☀️

Had a great time with family

Had a family reunion here and the house was perfect. Everything we needed for an enjoyable time. Lots of grilling and games. Plenty to do to keep us busy, and lots of parking which was a plus! I was a bit worried about it being so close to route 6, but once inside the property we didn’t even notice the road. Great time.

Good house for a larger group

The house itself was great - everything we needed. I didn’t realize from the online listing that the house was right on Route 6 and had very little privacy... The pictures made it seem like it was right on Ministers Pond and away from the road, but other than that it was a good house for our group of 10.

Great House

Renting was easy. Good communication with owner. Clean. Nice big deck with table, chairs and grill. Playground and toys for kids included. Access to a pond and row boats. Located in between Hyannis and Provincetown. Lots of beaches nearby. Wildlife sanctuary near by. The house is very close to Rt 6 so there is road noise all hours of the day. We had no issues and am very happy with our stay.

Our extended family (ranging in age from 12-75) had a fabulous week at the Big House at Nauset Haven

The house is well decorated, fully equipped and large enough for the 12 of us. We enjoyed meals and games at the large table on the deck. Loved taking an outdoor shower after a long day at the beach. We will definitely be hoping to return next year!!

Great location and beach house

We had two families staying in the Big House. We loved it! We were able to have a big lobster boil that we made ourselves using the pots and boiling ring provided. We loved the big new grill, the fabulous outdoor shower, the fact that there is fresh water for the kids to swim in. We had great wifi reception and a great tv. There are outdoor games provided, but the thing we did the most was swimming at the Coast Guard Beach which is right next door. We also highly recommend the Wellfleet Drive In Theater - my kids loved the drive in! This is a comfortable house with comfortable beds, sitting areas, and a very workable kitchen.

The house was old, but big and comfortable. It accommodated 12 people very comfortably.

We stayed for a week following a family weddding in Boston; family and friends came and went. The deck was great for grilling, eating and board games. The kitchen has everything imagineable to prepare any possible type of meal. We loved the “pond” with boats, diving platform and fishing. Eastham is slow-paced and surrounded by other interesting little towns to eat and shop. We loved easy access to the National Seashore and Provincetown. The sound if the traffic on Rte. 6 in front of the house takes a bit of getting used to. We will definitely keep this house on our list if places to visit again.

Beautiful Big House charm

This was a warm and lovely home with plenty of space for 12 family members. We had a family reunion with all different ages and interests. This home was perfect for dinners, deck reading and gatherings, bike walks, pond sunsets, row boat rides early mornings and sunset cocktails. It had a basketball hoop, swings and games to keep different ages of kids busy. The ocean, bay, restaurants and local attractions were all a quick drive. The owners were delightful, easy to work with and did an amazing job with the decor and comfort of their home. We were surprised when we drove up that is was located directly on route 6, but never noticed the traffic. The main living quarters and backyard haven was were it was at! Highly recommend this property.

Outstanding House in Eastham

This is the best house at the best price anywhere in the area. We have a large family, so the six bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and outside shower are absolutely necessary. The house is well kept and appointed. The rooms are spacious and bright. Lots of parking. The Wi-Fi, large outside porch and playground are bonuses. It's just around the corner from Coast Guard beach. We have been going there for 8 years. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Mike

A great vacation experience

This is the perfect place for family vacations and big enough to include grandma and grandpa. This place has lots of bedrooms and lots of open dining space including everything you need for cooking in. Bedding was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed private bathroom off th master bedroom. The deck was very large - ideal for cooking out and enjoying the summer weather. Convenient location close to beaches and some of our favorite eating spots in Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. Arnold's and Pizza Barn were both big hits for kids. There lots for kids to do at the house- games, badminton etc. All in all a great vacation experience
