I wanted a little getaway in the woods with some close friends and this place worked out perfectly! Lovely space for cooking and socializing, very close to town and lots of hiking trails. Would definitely stay again!
Thank you again for your patience and kindness! The stay was wonderful, able to see some Elk. Really enjoyed the holiday decor we discovered upon entry! Close to any added needs and easy ingress/egress. Hope to visit again!!

ski house
The house and bed were great for our group during our ski trip. However, many things were not working as well as we hoped: the hot tube, fireplace, and heat all need lots of work. It wasn't clearly stated that we needed to download an app to be able to unlock the rental.
very nice place clean and plenty of room .beds were a little hard but ok ,bath towels could use some bleach to smell a little fresher ,home was well equipped with what you need and very comfortable,
Overall a good location and we have stayed here before. The front door lock app was an issue at check in. The instructions say that the code is the last 4 of your phone number, but you actually need to download an app that has to be sent to you by the owner. So we could get in because the door was unlocked, but we could not lock it once we unloaded. The towels were still dank, like they were not fully dry. Kitchen has no basic necessities like salt and spices. The hot tub has no stand to hold the cover and was very heavy. We did our best to keep it off the ground, but the sides of the tub are literally sitting in muddy dirt. Again, nice place, good location, good response from owners. Just needs a few tune.
Very nice property. Location was very convenient, close to town, but in very quite neighborhood and easy to get to Mt Rainier National park. We had a slight glitch with the app for the door lock, but the owner responded immediately and all was good within minutes.
We choose this location mainly for hiking, locally and Mt Rainier. The property was clean and inviting; a great base station. Plenty of kitchen essentials and the family games are a nice touch. Packwood has a few food/dining options, breweries and a grocery store. Prices at the grocery store were as expected from a remote/local store, and the variety of food selection was good. The hot tub was great after hiking all day, but could use some maintenance. Overall a great stay.
Great getaway-staging for Mount Rainier National Park
We chose this location because it was in a good location with a short drive to Mount Rainier National Park. We spent our days enjoying the park and nature. The house was very nice, well equipped and I couldn’t have been happier.
Wonderful time and comfortable home to stay in close to town
Saw elk almost every evening, and enjoyed the town of Packwood and the people we met there
Great location for visit to Mt. Rainier. Packwood is a lovely little town, we had everything we needed for a short stay. Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms for 4 adults and 4 teens.
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The home was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely refer this property to anyone looking for an accommodation in Packwood! My family and I got to spend some quality time together and this property was perfect!

I wanted to move in! It was so beautiful, charming, and comfortable. It had every amenity we could ask for! We were not disappointed!
This was a clean and inviting location that fit our family ranging from age 7-17 plus parents. Relaxing common area, furnishings, fun activities, dinner table that fits everyone, and the air hockey/mini-pool, and pingpong were a hit amongst all. Kitchen and bathrooms don't have all the amenities- but great communication by the hosts helped us know what to expect in advance so no surprises.
This house was absolutely perfect. It was clean and fully stocked with anything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the area was a great starting point each day. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone going to Packwood.
We had a wonderful time skiing at White Pass and staying at the house in Packwood. Keep an eye out for elk they are beautiful and everywhere!
