Spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and excellent communication from Jane

Jane communicated well, and responded quickly to all my queries, being very accommodating with check in/check out times. Her apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a lovely balcony. It is very close to the beach, lovely restaurants, the old town square and to all the old town party bars.

Excellent location, more than adequate standard in apartment & good price. The apartment has all you need, close to the beach and good beds. The only negative things might be that it is rather noisy because of all the restaurants and karaoke around, no AC downstairs and that the front door was very difficult to unlock.

Perfect holiday

Jane and John thank you so much for everything the apartment was in perfect location and was spotless there was no hassle with any questions we had and check in and out was perfect. Fantastic Location, Comfortable Stay

I liked this property from the beginning, as the owners seemed quite responsive to questions and very helpful. The property itself is in a great location, close to the beach, tourist shops, and restaurants. We were there over New Year's, and it was a bit loud, but that would be expected since we were in the heart of the festivities. We watched the fireworks from the very large, comfortable patio. The only downside for me was that I booked through VRBO instead of booking with the owners directly, since VRBO has been terrible with other bookings. Next time we will most certainly be booking directly with these very friendly and helpful hosts. I wish to thank them for a wonderful holiday.

Very good Apartment in Albufeira

The hosts are very friendly, reliable and helpful, the apartment has much space for two families on two floors and all facilities, decorated with love and individual taste. The location could not be closer to Albufeira town, with restaurants, beach and markets close by. The hosts are not to blame that Albufeira in August is more than overcrowded and parties last till the morning hours (with the same playlist each night, ranging from Oasis to „country roads“), you better go to the clubs as it will be difficult to sleep with open windows or enjoy a relaxed conversation at the patio. Our kids had a very good time, though, and would ever come back.

Truly Amazing

There is so much I could write about - it was met and surpassed all my expectations of Ilbufeira and surrounding areas. Our excursions will leave so many great memories. This apartment in Old Town was the perfect location - you could walk to all shops and restaurants. The only hold back for those who have trouble doing stairs, there were three floors, but we four senior ladies had no problem. It as very clean, well equipped and comfortable beds. It was well decorated (we are all critical in all aspects of hotels, apartments) but rest assure, no one could complain. Jane was so patient with me and answered all my questions before arriving and everything she suggested worked out to perfection. I am compelled to highly recommend May, our driver who put up with all our questions. Once he picked us up at the airport (Jane’s recommendation). We were so comfortable with his driving and professionalism, we hired him for all our tours and actually booked him to travel to Spain for our second week. He always had so many surprises with his off the road (markets, countryside treasures) while taking us to where we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend him and brought back his family business cards for friends travelling to Ilbufeira. Very Great family man and makes travelling so much easier. His famous last words “this is your vacation - no worries and take your time”. Thanks Jane and May Lynda Nettie Sharon and Rhoda

Gute Lage - wichtig: Man muss die Partyumgebung mögen

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut geschnitten und eingerichtet. Zwei Balkons - davon einer nur für den Grill, der andere ist geräumiger und bietet einen Blick auf eine der belebetesten Straßen Albufeiras. Ventilatoren in jedem Zimmer + Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich. Internet ist schnell. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr nah am Strand. Badeklamotten an und nach ein paar Metern ist man am Strand. Es ist jedoch auch wichtig zu wissen, dass man direkt an einer Partymeile in Albufeira ist. Praktisch war auch der Parkplatz direkt vor der Wohnung, der nur zum Entladen ist.

Apartamento acorde a la descripcion, pero con mucho ruido de ambiente

El Apto es tal cual aparece en las fotos y está muy limpio. La situación es ideal, está muy centrico y cerca de playa, restaurantes y supermercados y zona de bares, precisaente por eso es muy ruidoso y no se descansa bien por lanoche

Great location

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very neat and spacious for our family of 5! Very handy location as you can just walk out and onto the beach in less than a minute! So close to everything that we didn’t require much taxi service as it’s in walking distance to a lot of great bars and restaurants. Was a little noisy at night but that didn’t bother me. You could always wear ear plugs. Would go back and stay here again.

Gutes Appartment

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sauber, zweckmäßig, gut ausgestattet, gute Größe. Sehr guter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Nur ca. 200m entfernt vom sehr breiten Strand, keine nenneswerte Steigung dahin. Altstadt mit Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Musik abends/nachts deutlich hörbar, aber für uns und die Kids noch ok. Kein Lärm von der Eisdiele unter dem Appartment. 4 zweckmäßig eingerichtete Schlafzimmer, 1 Wohnzimmer und 1 Terasse (plus 1 Grillecke). Die Betten in den 3 unteren Schlafzimmern können zusammengeschoben werden, oben Doppelbett. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alles da was wir brauchten (incl. Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Ofen, Tiefkühlfächer u.a.). Mini-Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, weitere in der Nähe. Große Supermärkte ca. 15 Fußminuten bergauf. Es gibt 4 Wohungsschlüssel. Eingangstür manchmal sehr schwer zu öffnen.

Wir haben uns hier sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage und die Wohnung entsprach genau den Beschreibungen. Mitten in der Feierzone und sehr nahe am Strand. Die Wohung war toll und hell und sauber und voll ausgestattet. Besser geht es kaum. Der Austausch hat bestens funktioniert.

Superb location, great facilities

Excellent, modernised apartment right in the centre of the old Town of Albufeira. The location could not be closer to the main bars, restaurant and beach. Very comfortable with all the equipment you need. Perfect for a group of friends. Checking in was simple. Only small issues were parking just next door at the multi-storey was expensive (not the owners fault) but drive up to the top end of the town, near the Council and it is free and easily accessed using the escalators. Saying that, you have everything you need right on your doorstep - supermarkets, taxis, all the choice you need in food and bars - so you don’t need a car!

Great location , spacious, clean tidy , perfect for families.

The pick up from airport was easy and on time and the accommodation was charming . It had been decorated nicely with lots of references to 2 Fish . It wa helpful having several sets of keys and key safe . In the middle of Old Town was a great location , barely 5 mins to beach , we were able to pop down at any time. The functionality of the accommodation was great , it was well supplied with all utensils , shower towels etc . Mild late night noise from the local bars but it was to be expected a little due to location . However it was perfect for our two families as the kids could come and go as they pleased. The air con unit did struggle in the heat but again it was extremely hot at times and I wonder that it was a little overwhelmed . The bedrooms stayed cool and all had fans . The bathrooms were lovely and showers great and powerful. When we had an issue with hot water it was sorted immediately. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as we have always found with the Portuguese. Would highly recommend this apartment and hosts and are likely to consider it again in near future. We very much like Albufeira and found it more family oriented in July than April on a previous visit where there were a couple more stag do’s. Thanks very much Jane and John !
