Great location, Great Host

I have stayed in Florence several times previously and always at a hotel. This time, thought we would try an apartment. Great choice. Pier is a great host and from the very beginning, communicates very proactively. Every question was answered in lightening speed. The apartment is large and well appointed. Separate bedroom, Lounge/Kitchen combined, timber floors, modern bathroom. Pier met us as soon as we stepped out of the taxi and helped us up with our luggage. He then spent time explaining every aspect of the apartment, WiFi, appliances, lightening, etc. The apartment is fantastically located, a short walk from anything, just down the street from the train station, about 10 minutes to the Duomo, from there, everything is 5 - 10 minutes. In the immediate area are a host of restaurants. There is a supermarket right next door. Compared to a hotel, it is about 25% of of the cost and twice the size of the room. It is so nice to have access to basic cooking and clothes washing facilities. I would highly recommend this apartment to visitors to Florence.

Excellent Property at a convenient location and a very Thoughtful host

A beautiful apartment with excellent fit out of latest electronics. The property and the host Piero provided a warm welcome - the refrigerator was stocked with water, small bottles of champagne, milk and juice. Honey, jams and butter were also in the refrigerator. Fresh fruit and a loaf of bread , as well as basil, there was also a coffee machine for the caffeine hit all of which were very welcome after a long day on the railway. Piero met us at the station and walked us to the centrally located apartment, he took the time to explain the features of the apartment and it's equipment. He also checked in via email during our stay to ensure that everything was OK - it was. The apartment is located close to the main tourist attractions within easy walking distance. The building containing the apartment also had a lift to take us and our luggage to the second floor, it was a great asset as I wasn't looking forward to carrying the bags up flights of steps. This is the best property we have stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend it to other people thinking of visiting Florence.

5 star luxury

This apartment is pure luxury, as good as any 5 star hotel. Impeccably clean and exquisite decor. The bonus is the fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The bathroom with rain shower is fabulous. The owner generously provides mineral water, juice, bread, milk, coffe, fruit , butter, jams etc and prosecco which was a nice gesture. The bed has an extremely comfortable memory foam mattress. The location is in the middle of the city and a quick walk to the train station. I recommend this property highly.

Beautiful apartment close to major attractions

A great find. Close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, Duomo, museums, great shopping and restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and has many amenities. Communicate with the staff was very responsive. Another plus was being next door to a grocery store. Grazie mille to Sandy and Victoria for you assistance and a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Property!

The beautifully appointed apartment was perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need, including a coffee maker with pods. The host also got us started with milk, oj, Prosecco and bacon, eggs and bread. The location is perfect - close to everything and the hosts are very responsive to any questions. Definitely would recommend if staying in Florence!

Great trip to Florence

My husband and I were pleased with the visit to your apartment. The breakfast items provided by you were much appreciated. It was great that you provided a user manual (with English translation) for the apartment. We had a minor problem with a slow draining shower that was addressed and fixed by Sandy and a nice gentleman within 45 minutes. From check-in to check-out, you made our stay enjoyable! Grazie!

Medici Chapel 2 minutes away

This property is centrally located to most tourist destinations, i.e., museums, basilicas, restaurants, etc. The Medici Chapel is a two minute walk from the front door. The Central Market is a five minute walk as is the Duomo. There are five restaurants within a two minute walk and eight within five minutes. Also convenient was the modest grocery store next door. As with any city location, there is street noise and we advise visitors to bring ear plugs. The coffee machine worked well (coffee pods were included) and more pods could be purchased at the grocery store next door. Be aware that it doesn't have an automatic shutoff. For those who choose to cook some of their own meals, the kitchen was well supplied with quality cookware, cutlery and china.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely time in Florence. The apartment is conveniently located to the train station and beautiful florentine sites. The apartment is clean, and comfortable. The bed is roomy and comfortable. Sandy our contact was so very helpful and kind. Communication was stellar, plus she stocked the refrigerator with breakfast foods and a bottle of Prosecco! So kind! One note: bring ear plugs, Florence is noisy due to the narrow streets and traffic. We would definitely stay here again! Grazie!

Best VRBO in Florence

The location was great, walking distance to great food and attractions. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The property manager, Sandy was very helpful. It was our first time to Florence and the location was fantastic. Great restaurants and shopping. It’s not as crowed as the museum area. We loved the apartment it was very comfortable and they provided welcome amenities!

Firenze Magnifico

Many IT failures on our side made communications challenging. Pier Luigi and his team were great - communicative and attentive. Florence still sweltering under heat dome, and I must say crush of tourists was hard to handle, especially when so many of them are loud, rude, full of self-regard and have no idea why they have come to Florence. All locals we encountered were kind, courteous and patient - how they manage such grace when their city is literally under siege I do not know. Our third visit to Florence. We added day trips to Fiesole, Lucca and Verona. Verona sadly also overrun. Will never forget chance to see frescoes by my Renaissance love, Masaccio, up close. A very special thrill. Thank you PL and thank you Florence. We will always love you.

Clean and close to everything!

Beautiful place, very comfortable and close to everything….the train station, the train to the airport and all the sites. Really appreciated that the host put a few groceries in the refrigerator for us. That was a sweet touch. It was super convenient having the grocery store right downstairs.

Amazing!

We loved our stay in the appartment ! Sandy greeted us with her son and they helped us with our suitcases. They were SO nice, professional and cheerful ! The apartment is wonderful, clean and bright. Deco is awesome, and there are lots of interesting gadgets. The shower, amazing ! The AC in the appartment was a must considering outside temps raised to 38C. The location is perfect. A few meters from the train station and also a few meters from the Santa Maria del Fiore. Everything walking distance. I recommend this place, it was just perfect. We should have stayed longer !

Fabulous Property

Host and property manager Roxana provided an excellent stay, down to every little detail. Apartment looks just like pictures and it was a treat to stay there. Roxana even provided breakfast food for us - so thoughtful. Book this property if you have the chance. Centrally located and an easy walk from the train station (and I had an injured knee). She even helped me find a doctor to look at my knee. Would give it more stars if I could. Thank you for a lively apartment.

Great host, great apartment, great location in a great city.

This was a great apartment just a block or two from the Duomo. Our host Claudio was wonderful and really took his time explaining the apartment. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and even made reservations for us in a wonderful restaurant (I suspect he got us a round of after dinner drinks including grappa as the restaurant present two us after the end of a great meal). It was in this wonderful building with an impressive foyer and staircase. Apartment had all the amenities. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location

This property is in the perfect Florence location. Not only is it a 5 minutes walk to the Duomo, but there was so much more, so close. A grocery store is literally just outside the front door of the building. The Capella di Medici may not be on your radar, but it’s a block from the apartment and worth a visit. The owner’s associate, Sandy, provided us with several restaurant choices and even made a reservation for us at her favorite Florentine steakhouse. One of our favorite places for a quick bite was in Mercado Centrale, which is minutes from the unit. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and was stocked with eggs, bacon, bread, and juice. This was such a nice touch! Piero and Sandy were quick to respond to any issues we had. We had a wonderful stay.

Short Stay in Florence

This property is very well situated in downtown Florence, close to the train station, the Duomo and other landmarks. There is a food store literary next door. The apartment is very well appointed with all the required amenities and has very modern appliances. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other visitors to the city.

Florentine Fling

We spent a wonderful 5 days in Florence at this charming apartment. It was close to everything, with restaurants on the corner. It’s a short walk to the train station which made it very convenient do day trips.

Excellent location

This apartment was in a great location within easy walking distance to the train and all of the major sights. There is a supermarket next door also. The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed for a nice stay. Keep in mind that this is an older building and there are a few quirky things. The air conditioner in the bedroom never got cool and made loud banging noises. But air conditioning in most of Italy is not as cool as you are probably used to. The water pressure in the shower would almost stop every 30 seconds and there was a weird smell in the shower. But the generous size of the shower was much appreciated. Sandy, who checked us in was great. She even made us a dinner reservation at one of her favorite restaurants where the food was delicious and we were treated like royalty. We would definitely stay here again,

Terrible. False advertising.

Dark, dank. Waste water smell in entire apt including bedding. Faulty electricity. No access to A/C. Used and limited toiletries. We had to leave within hours of arriving. Owner made no attempt to improve the situation. In fact, he was absolutely rude, harassing and couldn’t care less about being a good host. Beware if this property and owner.
