About this property

Very Nice Apartment With Big Garden And Close To Amsterdam And Beaches

The apartment is in a quiet street with detached houses and has an own front door. It’s new, clean and light and has a fantastic view over gardens and water.

The location is central, with a 3-min walk to the train station ‘Krommenie-Assendelft’ you arrive within 20 minutes at Amsterdam Central Station. The train runs every 15 minutes to and from Amsterdam Central Station.

The apartment is completely renovated and has a new bathroom with rain shower and hand shower, soap dispensers, hanging toilet and a bathroom sink. Kitchen is equipped with sink, duo ceramic plate, extractor hood, refrigerator with freezer and microwave. There is a couch and a table with four chairs.

Your 140 m2 back garden (shared with us) has lounge chairs with parasol and a trampoline. From the back yard you have access to the dock where you have a second lounge set where you can sit and overlook the water with the ducks and the gardens behind it. It’s the best place to have your breakfast on a sunny morning.

Within walking distance we have got a shopping Centre, bars, supermarkets and excellent restaurants. The public swimming pool is 5 min cycling and a playground is around the corner. We are a near the beach in Castricum and Wijk aan Zee (15 min). We are close to cultural highlights like the Amsterdam Canals, the Cheese market in Alkmaar (20 min), the Zaanse Schans with its historic houses and windmills (15 min), the Czaar Peter House in Zaandam (20 min) or Edam and Marken (25 min). Also cities like Haarlem, The Hague and Utrecht are close by. Schiphol Airport is 30 min.

Bedroom setup:
We have a maximum of four beds, one of which is a sofa bed. Two single beds can be set up as a double bed. An extra camping bed for babies is available free of charge. Please let us know the desired bedroom setup upon reservation.

About us:
We are living in this beautiful and quite part of Assendelft for six years now and we decided to use this extra space to welcome people from all over the world to have a real Dutch experience. We talk English, German and a little French. We have two children age 11 and 9 and a small "dog" named Luna.

Sehr schöne zentralgelegene Unterkunft für viele Unternehmungen geeignet, entweder mit dem Fahrrad oder mit dem Zug der in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Parkplätze sind reichlich (ohne Bezahlung) vorhanden.

Our stay at this cosy apartment was great. We enjoyed the easy access to the grocery store and having the equipment we needed to cook in the apartment. The area is calm and nice to walk around. Being able to park on the street when we had the car we rented, and having the train station so nearby after we brought the car back was very practical. The communication with the hosts was super effective and they were always ready to help whenever we had questions or issues. I totally recommend staying here for a memorable stay in the Netherlands!

Besonders toll ist die Lage der Wohnung, direkt an einer Gracht und ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Der Vermieter Hans war sehr nett und hat uns freundlich empfangen. Wer selber kochen möchte... uns haben Kleinigkeiten gefehlt...Suppenteller, eine Schöpfkelle... war aber nicht wirklich schlimm. Das Badezimmer ist sehr modern und wirklich schön. Handtücher im Bad gibt es leider nur 3 große Badetücher. Trockentücher, Spülllappen ausreichend vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist modern und liebevoll dekoriert. Empfehlenswert!!!

A Nice Short-Vacation in Holland
Alles in allem ein guter kurz Urlaub. Das Zimmer ist wie abgebildet eingerichtet und schön. Man kann kochen und hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Was mir persönlich gefehlt hat, oder was man eventuell verbessern kann ist, ein Staubwischer oder ein Swiffer und ein extra Handtuchhalter für große Handtücher zum trocknen. Man kommt gut mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam und den Strand in der Umgebung. Renate und Hans waren beide sehr nett und haben mich am Abend begrüßt. Es war schön aber kurz. Danke. Freundliche Grüße Rico

Sehr schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung. Ganz toll eingerichtet. Sauber, tolles Badezimmer, viel Garten. Die Gastgeber sind super nett... Wir wurden mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, oder ob etwas fehlt. Aber es war alles da, was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht! Tolle Lage, 5 min zum Bahnhof, perfekt für einen Ausflug nach Amsterdam oder an einen der tollen Strände. Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Urlaub. Danke, dass ihr ein so tolles Plätzchen mit Feriengästen teilt!

Great escape right outside the city
Cute little apartment right on a canal. Had outdoor seating and a trampoline. Five minute walk from train station in a quiet neighborhood. It is perfect for a couple with a kid. Neighborhood parks are a three minute walk away. Nice escape from the city but with the added perk of quick access to the city. The hosts were fantastic, easy to communicate with, and very helpful with navigating the area.

Sehr nettes Appartement mit Garten nahe zum Bahnhof nach Amsterdam
War ein schöner Aufenthalt, zentral am Bahnhof nach Amsterdam und der Supermarkt war auch fußläufig zu erreichen. Assendelft ist aufgrund seiner vielen Kanälen ein sehr süßes Örtchen. Das Haus und der Garten waren schön, die große Regenwalddusche hat mir besonders gefallen. Check in mit dem Gastgeber sehr entspannt. Hatten sehr schöne Urlaubstage

Very nice place
Pleasantly surprised - the property was nicer in person than in the pictures, I think, owing to the fact that it is difficult to take pictures of a small space. Although small, it had everything that we needed. It was very clean, quiet and thoughtfully laid out. Close to grocery shoppping and local train station, as described. We did not use the outside much but plenty of seating and relaxing spot on the canal. The only things lacking were paper toweling, a tea towel for drying dishes and Kleenex although I'm sure they would have been provided had we asked. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Hans and Renate!

The location is central, with a 3-min walk to the train station ‘Krommenie-Assendelft’ you arrive within 30 minutes at Amsterdam Central Station. The train runs every 15 minutes to and from Amsterdam Central Station up until midnight (all night on weekends).
