Another perfect holiday in Kaya
Another fabulous stay at Fig Garden! Hosts were perfect as ever. It's the most gorgeous place to relax - accommodation is comfortable, gardens and pool lovely when you don't feel like doing anything but lounging, location great for all the village has to offer. Not surprisingly, we will be back again in 2014!

After travelling extensively for many years I settled in Turkey when I met my husband Burcin, 3 children later here I am in my dream location, in the Kaya valley.

Why they chose this property

We had been looking to buy land in Kaya for ages and then by chance we were offered this plot of land. We jumped at the opportunity as it had great views of the old village, some well established fig and pomegranate trees and is within easy walking distance to the village centre. It had a bit of a secret garden feel to it. The cottages are well secluded from each other, covered in Virginia creeper and ivy.

What makes this property unique

The Fig Garden is in such a great position, very quiet but at the same time within easy walking distance to the centre of the village. It has great views across the fields to the old ruins and is an oasis of green and shade. The gardens are well established and certainly keep me busy. I have planted many fruit trees, apricot, peach, cherry, apple, pear, orange, lemon and banana just to name a few. Lavender, daisy, rose and geranium do well here as well as wild oregano and thyme. There are plenty of restaurants nearby offering fresh local produce, all with a genuine smile. Beaches are easy to get to and there is a great choice of historical sites to visit, what more can you wish for?
