My family members kept saying how much they loved this house and how it was perfect for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent and we loved being able to play music in the evenings (we have a few musicians and singers in the family). The kitchen is great for people who love to cook. We are interested in coming back!
We stayed in this stunning home for our son’s wedding at Taughannock Falls. This home is amazing in so many ways….unique and classic furnishings, a beautiful and highly functional kitchen which was perfect for entertaining, outdoor seating for great conversations, and so much more. I highly recommend this fascinating home for your family vacation.
The house was beautiful and full of interesting things to explore - each day there was something new we hadn’t noticed before. The bedrooms were spacious and fit our group size very well. We loved sitting on the porch any time of day. The owner was very helpful and checked in to be certain all was well. The porch was in need of a good sweeping and the landscaping could use tending - some of the beautiful outdoor spaces were not very welcoming due to the over growth. The rain shower heads on a couple of the bathrooms did not work very well and the water pressure from the faucets in those bathrooms was also very low - this is likely just due to the age of the home and was not that bothersome to us. Loved the spacious kitchen - again perfect for our group of 8 adults. The location was convenient for exploring the outdoors and we took a nightly walk to the local ice cream stand. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay!
We had a family get together (fhe majority over 70) and were looking for a unique blend bed/ bath combo with a variety of daytime activities (outdoors, golf, museums, vineyards etc.) to cater to a diverse crowd while having a relaxing base. The venue checked all the boxes and the Delfs were incredible hosts.
The property was very nice and spacious.
Kitchen was over stocked and so was the pantry.
Linen and bathrooms were clean.
One observation was that finding all kinds of personal items like clothes , books etc for a renter is not something I had expected to find. This gave a feeling of clutter in the house that could have been avoided.
Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this lovely home! Big enough for two families of four to enjoy a week of Finger Lakes wine, parks, and restaurants galore. The porch is perfect for dining al fresco while the kids play in the tree house and chase lightening bugs in the sprawling yard. Already looking forward to our next visit!
My friends and I stayed in this house over a long weekend. The house was gorgeous; the rooms were spacious, beds were so comfy! The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need! The bathrooms had the most comfortable towels and were beautiful. The porch was our absolute favorite--so spacious for 10 of us to sit and hang, play board games, and read. The fishing pond was so fun ! The backyard was amazingly beautiful. We had the absolute best time!
This property was stunning, interesting and such a great place to host our large group of 9 (all ages) in the greater Ithaca /finger lakes region. We had great meals in the kitchen, listen to my son play on a grand piano, went fishing in the backyard and visited great attractions in the area.
Thank you for providing a home away from home!

The home was exactly as described with large bedrooms and fantastic bathrooms with showers. The kids loved the playhouse and the fishing pond provided hours of entertainment. The location was perfect allowing easy access to local Wine Trails and don't miss The Gorge Hike at Watkins Glenn. Overall a great experience.
Everyone in our group Absolutely loved this beautiful Victorian house! When we arrived at the house in Trumansburg we were all amazed at the beautiful decor and and artwork that Amy and Andreas have decorated their home with! Especially the wall painting in the entry way and the stairway, Awesome!!!! The kitchen had everything you would need to cook your meals. The beds were comfy and the baths were totally stocked with soap shampoo and wonderfully plush towels and washcloths! And the whole house was spotless!
We also enjoyed the beautiful yard the house sits on! very private! we enjoyed watching the family of groundhogs and the mother deer with her fawn wandering the yard in the morning and evening!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone!
There was one small issue that was totally out of Amy's control that she rectified quickly! Kudos for that Amy!
In closing. This is a wonderful house! Do not hesitate to book! You will love it!
Families from Washington, DC and Massachusetts gathered at this lovely home to renew our friendship. The house was an ideal place for us. Except for the first night, when we went to the Atlas bowling alley in town (what an eclectic gem), we cooked in most nights and found the kitchen and grill to have everything we might wish and more. Our friends from Massachusetts are musicians and loved the pianos and harpsichord. It was delightful house and location. We will return.

Fabulous experience!!
We had the most wonderful stay at your house recently.
Our grandchildren just loved the tree house, the wonderful porch, and all the space outside to run free.
We were in town for a family wedding and had a pretty big glitch for the rehearsal dinner. The event was supposed to be in a big tent at a lovely venue in Interlaken. The truck carrying the tent, tables and chairs broke down and only arrived 15 minutes before dinner was to start. We had already decided by that point to move the rehearsal dinner to your lovely home. We packaged up the catered food, silverware, etc and ended up having just a delightful dinner for about 30 on the porch.
It was just fabulous!
We are avid bird lovers as well as musicians so we felt very much at home surrounded by the pianos, the harpsichord and all the birds.
Thanks again for everything!

Beautiful and unique!
We enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully restored and the decor is unique. Sitting on the front porch having our coffee or rocking in the rocking chairs was one of our favorite things to do! It was a nice relaxing time away for our family.

Could not have been better for our family reunion!!!
The house is truly fabulous!!! Five beautiful comfortable bedrooms, four gorgeous bathrooms, and huge upscale kitchen to accommodate all ten of us. House was perfectly clean. Many places to gather and talk, including the front veranda and a shady arbor in the back. Plenty of seating, outdoor furniture, etc. Beautiful grounds, very private. Air conditioning worked great -- and in the cool evenings we turned off the AC and opened the many windows to the fresh breeze. We loved the well-preserved Victorian hominess. We have vacationed in many rentals over the years and this is the best. We did NOT want to leave. Thank you, Amy and Andreas!

A true gem in the Village of Trumansburg.
A remarkable place to stay in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. Short drives to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Geneva or places along Seneca and Cayuga lakes. A very charming, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was awesome. Essentials were all provided. Very interesting decor. Some sites list the house with six bedrooms. Truly enjoyed our family stay.
Thank you very much.

Ideal for Graduations
We could not have had a more ideal setting for an extended graduation celebration. The house is spacious and impeccably appointed. Too often VRBOs feel like the owner just left for the weekend or they threw in the cheapest furnishings they could find. This house feels like a five star hotel, right down to plush towels. Wonderfully-equipped kitchen with huge marble island that was the focal point of our five-day stay. Multiple sitting rooms with eclectic furnishings. Beautiful porch for tea or cocktails. Huge lawn with cute pond and a couple of resident beavers. We had ten people staying in the house and a gathering for the extended family on (Ithaca College) graduation day. Our guests had come from Asia, Europe and US and all were impressed. Never felt crowded; big enough to disappear for some alone time. Owned by a couple who split their time between US and Germany. We met the wife when we booked the house 18 month before the event. Lovely. They were in Germany while we were there and were immediately responsive when we emailed with a question. Fifteen minute drive outside Ithaca. Book early and book often!

We loved the house. Had a wonderful time Trumansburg is sweet small town.
The house is beautiful well kept everything we needed was available. Wonderful property every morning there were deer in the back yard. Wish we had more time to sit & relax outside at the patio or on the porch. But we were busy almost every day with wedding preparations.

Unbelievable!
We had a family reunion in Ithaca, NY with 18 of us coming from Toronto, ON and Michigan.
12 of us stayed in Trumansburg, the others in Ithaca. Our house was the main place to congregate and make plans for the weekend. No one wanted to leave! Amy and Andreas were very welcoming with clear instructions and more! We couldn't have been happier. We will return to this home. It had everything, charm, warmth and comfort. Thank you A and A!

Awsome house in an equally awesome location with an equally awesome host
It was just unbelievable. This was our first vacation style visit to Ithaca to see my son studying at Cornell. So we really wanted a house for 5 of us. We checked a bunch of places in and around Ithaca and ended up with this house based on our interaction with Amy over emails. She was just pleasant to deal with. Then after reaching there we were pleasantly surprised once again to see Amy waiting for us to give a tour of the place with couple of really nice bottles of wine, muffins and bagels sitting on the kitchen counter. House was Victorian style and extremely well maintained and furnished. It was on a 5 acre lot with plenty of nature all around. Good to see deer coming in the back yard for the apples. For our kids we did really want to cook a little and the kitchen ended up as one of the best places in the house for all of us to hang out and do some cooking. My wife loved exercising while watching beautiful fall colors form the bedroom windows. We all enjoyed a lot. Amy was extremely nice to provide good information on hiking, restaurants and wineries around the area as well. For sure we will go again for my son's graduation if I am able to find the house available. Once again thanks for an awesome experience to both Amy and Andreas.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting
We have rented many VRBO houses over the years, and this home stands out as one of our favorites. The house is a lovingly restored Victorian beauty, dripping with charm and chock-a-block with antiques (including 2 grand pianos and a harpsichord). The gourmet kitchen is spacious and well-stocked and we enjoyed playing cards at the table while watching the Olympics on the computer. We used only 3 of the 6 available bedrooms, but they were all large and well-appointed, with very comfortable mattresses. As delightful, the house is set on 5 peaceful acres and has expansive lawns, a pond with a dock, a playhouse and treehouse. We especially loved sitting outside on the wraparound porch and on the shady back patio. The street is quiet and you can walk (about 1/2 mile) to the main street of Trumansburg, which has everything you need for your vacation, including surprisingly good eateries, a decent grocery store, drug store, etc. Within a short drive, you can hike the impressive gorge trails of 4 state parks, swim in Cayuga Lake, and visit the vineyards on the Cayuga and Seneca wine trails. We also enjoyed visiting the Corning Museum of Glass, which is about an hour drive. Added to all this, the owners are warm and welcoming, responsive, and accommodating. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat.
