Spectacular Lake Front Property ~ Your Own 22 Acre Private Peninsula Getaway!

The home sits on a twenty two acre peninsula surrounded by water with a 1/4 mile of private beach front. The lakefront has a large private dock where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating or kayaking. There are two kayaks that come with the rental. In the front yard there is a large and beautiful lawn where you can play volleyball, have a camp fire or just enjoy the view. Hinckley Lake is a also winter paradise. Ski the Adirondack Mountains or directly access the Penn Mountain snowmobile trails.

The house has 6 bedrooms and 3 baths with a Foosball table and a dart board in the game room. The main floor living room has a large stone fireplace with cathedral ceilings, a lovely kitchen with custom cherry cabinets and tile floor. The screen room has a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the evening. The house can sleep 15 guests comfortably.

Great for a family gathering

Our family loved the house and the location. It provided plenty of sleeping options and room to gather in the common spaces. Beautiful for a winter gathering - we loved the snowy setting. Also the communication with the property manager was excellent - prompt and helpful.

Fantastic Adirondack Stay

My friends (all from out of state) and I stayed here for their first experience for NY fall. It was a fantastic stay and my friends and I had a great time. Plenty of space, amazing views and the house is located within driving distance of many places within the Adirondacks. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for those interested in a calm and peaceful NY getaway.

Fantastic Property!

This house is fabulous for a group! We had 12 adults and there was plenty of space. Well manicured lawn allowed for yard games and a great fire pit to laugh around at night! Hinkley reservoir is a gorgeous body of water and this house is top notch!

Annual family vacation

The house was beautiful, clean and well kept, just as advertised. We had 12 family members and there was plenty of room for everyone. The yard was as well kept as the house and the volleyball net was a huge hit. The water was great for the teenagers, deep enough to jump off the end of the dock but we could keep the younger ones contained inside the dock area. We all enjoyed our family vacation.

Family vacation

We have been renting lake houses for the past 8 yrs for the whole family to be together. We have been bringing things with us that we have found to be in short supply at the houses,like a few dishwasher tablets, garbage bags,dish soap, paper supplies... Was pleasantly surprised that the house was fully supplied..even cheese grater and pizza cutter! For the thirteen of us we had plenty of room and hang out places. We all loved swimming off the dock and using the kayaks. There is one queen mattress that probably should be replaced but other than that, my family said this is their favorite place so far!!

Beautiful Lake

There were several issues with this rental. The clothes dryer worked poorly on day 4 and not at all after that. No dryer for 13 people at a lake house was difficult. The owner tried to fix the dryer but was unsuccessful. There were not enough utensils for family meals. The cookware was a hodgepodge of beat up Teflon. There were no chairs in any of the bedrooms. The screened porch was extremely dirty and had large holes in the screens. The boards on the dock became loose as the dock drifted farther from shore. Our 11 year old granddaughter fell through and cut her leg. The lake is peaceful and the view beautiful. The owner seemed nice and tried to fix the dryer. We would not consider renting this house again as it did not measure up to the others we’ve rented in the past 9 years. That said it was a joy to enjoy the lake with our children and grandchildren.

Nice stay

We stayed at the property for a long weekend and it was a perfect space for us. There was plenty of space for 14 of us. It was very clean which is very important to me. The property has a beautiful view and so much land. There was snow there even though there was no snow anywhere else so the kids were very happy. Overall a great stay. Thank you.

Picturesque Winter Getaway!

My family had a wonderful long weekend getaway at Dean’s house! The house was comfortable, clean and in a beautiful location. The winter view of the lake was magical!!
