Honeysuckle cottage was beautiful and very well presented with a beautiful garden and lovely views.
We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage for a long weekend and it was superb. Very relaxing and the owners were very welcoming with excellent welcome scones on arrival. We loved our stay and will definitely return again. Our dog Bailey was made to feel welcome and was quite at home in the large garden. We enjoyed a very relaxing and tranquil break....thank you so much!

Misleading property photographs
We booked through Owners Direct and thought we had booked the detached cottage as shown on this review page and also in the many photographs for honeysuckle cottage.
Instead we had booked a smaller property and would properly describe it as a ground floor flat with only a small ensuite with shower, wash basin and toilet.
The host were very pleasant and informative but the description and surprise when we arrived
left a lot to be desired.

Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners! Despite the weather we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Lovely walk up to Brentor church from the cottage. Fabulous views of the night sky, overall perfect base for exploring this part of Devon.

Warm compact cottage with a very friendly welcome
Honeysuckle cottage is part of the main house but extremely private with its own garden space for the dogs. Great long weekend break.

A lovely warm welcome to Dartmoor. The cottage is small but has everything you need. It was warm and cosy and just right for a quiet break after a busy Christmas. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.

Honeysuckle Cottage
Lovely, cosy little cottage with large private garden, perfect for wildlife watching. Thanks to our equally lovely hosts Roger and Jeanette for a very welcome Cream Tea after a long journey and the offer of help/advice should we need it. Local attractions - Monkstone Cottages are on the doorstep of Brentor (St Michael's) - a 15 minute walk and spectacular panoramic views; Lydford Gorge (even more spectacular); Widgery Tor (great walk & option of lagoon for a swim) at Lydford. Eating out - would recommend The Warren Inn, highest pub on Dartmoor. Good food, friendly service, very interesting history. Would definately recommend & hope to return to Honeysuckle Cottage.

Lovely cottage just as described
We stayed for a couple of nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. As mentioned in other reviews there was a cream tea and milk awaiting us whihc is a lovely touch. The cottage is ideal for investigating the Tavistock area of Dartmoor.

Perfect country cottage on Dartmoor.
We stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage over a long weekend in April. The location is superb being quite remote but within easy reach of facilities. The cottage itself was ideal for the two of us and dog. Clean, comfortable, warm and with everything you need, we will certainly make a return visit and recommend to others. Owners are very friendly and welcoming.

Stunning location
Very cosy, clean and comfortable. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. The bathroom is very compact. The owner was away during our visit but left easy instructions and a cream tea. The cottage is in a great location for exploring both coasts and other local attractions.

Gorgeous, luxury cottage with fantastic attention to detail and
We recently stayed here for a long weekend and we're very pleasantly surprised! The cottage is very small and intimate (we stayed at Honeysuckle), and perfect for a short break for two or a week holiday. There was great attention to detail- we were greeted with a cream team, and fresh milk, flowers, tea and other little touches that made everything wonderful! The fire was already laid ready to light, and the owner gave us a great over view of the local area an ld some ideas for our stay. We definitely would return and hope to visit again as soon as possible!

Charming cottage
Idyllic location for coast and country. Plentiful pubs & restaurants within easy reach. The Peter Tavy Inn was very good, as was The Oak at Meavy.
We were blessed with lovely weather, which was a bonus. The cream tea on arrival was a welcome touch.
We would definitely recommend Honeysuckle Cottage.
