Lovely Villa, perfect for a relaxing vacation, with pool and view to the coast.

Set in the Serra de Monchique hills, Villa Casa Estrelicia is surrounded by pine, eucalyptus and cork trees. And the views seem to go on forever – on a clear day even the coast can be glimpsed. There’s no shortage of quiet spots to relax at this villa. The dining terrace extends right round the side of the house, with steps leading down to the pool.

The swimming pool at Villa Casa Estrelicia is sunk into a tiled terrace stocked with loungers and parasols. In front of the pool, the hillside dips down into sweeping views of the countryside.

A wood-burning stove set into a stone fireplace gives a homely feel to the open-plan dining and living area, a spacious area with comfy sofas. And two sets of French windows lead onto the lovely dining terrace. The kitchenette at Villa Casa Estrelicia serves up a good-sized cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer. Meanwhile, a barbecue weighs anchor outside.

This house is spacious, comfortable and pleasant. View stunning, very quiet area on mountainside. Nice terrace and pool, sun all day. Definitely hope to visit again.

Holiday near Monchique
We had a lovely two weeks in this property. The view was spectacular, the outside areas and pool were great with the balcony comfortable and shady. Inside the house felt spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Lots to do within an easy drive. We found Portugal good value for money with great food and friendly people, we will return.

Very peaceful and quiet location with a panaromic view.
A beautiful villa close to Monchique with friendly and helpfull hosts. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We spend a week in the winter and we wished we could stay longer.

The property was clean and well presented,all mod cons as expected Lovely clean pool,we had a great time nice and quiet just as we like it . We have been visiting Portugal many years and this villa is up with the best we have stayed at 👍

The road to the house is a challenge, but once you are there the view is spectacular. We very much enjoyed the house which is convenient, all equipment is available, clean and nice pool. Some basics for cooking like salt, peper, oil, tea would make it even better..

The Equipment of the House is very very old (kitchen, electric devices, Chairs, plates etc.) and should be renewed. Also the beds are very old and mattresses very hard. It would also have been nice to have a sufficient amount of toilet paper or trash bags. The House itself and the view are nice.

Peaceful with great views
Lovely place, (takes a little finding) tucked away with stunning views out to the sea. Would highly recommend this place if you want a little time to relax. Just a little FYI, take everything, there is nothing supplied, obviously towels & bedding are, but nothing else. I don't know if this is norm but we've stayed in many VRBO homes and this is the 1st without salt & pepper or only 1 loo roll 😆 (Intermarché in Monchique is excellent) However, don't let that put you off it's well worth it.

Mooie locatie met fantastisch uitzicht
Beetje gedateerd. Er is wifi en je krijgt de tekentjes maar het werkt niet. Dat is zo volgens de eigenaar. Slechte ontvangst. De douchekoppen zijn oud en er komt weinig water door. Er is geen centrale verwarming alleen een openhaard wat niet erg is in de zomer maar de twee losse elektrische kacheltjes zijn in de winter onvoldoende. Maar het uitzicht maakt alles goed. Wij hebben ondanks het frisse weer een leuk lang weekend gehad.

Ruhe und Entspannung
Schönes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Liegt in den Bergen der Algarve. Der nächste Strand liegt 29 km weit weg und man braucht ca 1 Stunde Fahrzeit aufgrund der Straßen in Portugal und der Lage des Domizils... Aber dafür hat man einen tollen Pool. Der Fernseher ist etwas mickrig und hat eine sehr schlechte Klangqualität. Aber zur Not tut er es halt 😉. Ansonsten ist es wirklich sehr schön, ruhig und entspannend... Ab und zu bekommt man Besuch von frei herum laufenden Hunden, was aber in diesen südlichen Ländern keine Seltenheit ist.

Wij hebben het er super gehad, mooi centraal in Portugal en alles makkelijk te rijden. Heerijk rustige omgeving met genoeg leuke restaurants in de buuren een grote supermarkt. Wel hebben we de airco gemist was erg warm binnen. Maria bedankt.

Tolle Lage mit Blick bei klarem Wetter bis Portimāo / ans Meer Pool ideal ummauert und dadurch stets windgeschützt und sonnig von früh bis spät Einrichtung zweckmässig und grosszügige Räume „Einsam“ gelegen und doch mit Auto im 10 Minuten in Monchique- ideal wenn man was ruhiges mit viel Privatsphäre sucht

Perfekt wenn man es abgeschieden mag!
Uns hat das Haus gefallen, der Einrichtung was Küche und Bad angeht fehlt es an nichts, vorhanden sind Filterkaffee Maschine, Microwelle, Herd, Backofen, Toaster, Waschmaschine, Föhn und es funktioniert auch alles tadellos. Was das Internet angeht darf man sich hier leider nicht drauf verlassen, bei uns war im Schnitt 1-2 Stunden am Tag Internet vorhanden (immer jeweils ein paar Minuten), wenn man was nachschauen möchte bezüglich Ausflug etc. schon etwas nervig. Daher kann man sich auch den Amazon Fire Stick sparen, aber der Mini-Fernseher (max. so groß wie ein PC-Bildschirm) verfügt über viele deutsche Programme. Zur Lage muss man sagen daß sie vom Ausblick her gigantisch ist. Bei der Anfahrt waren wir allerdings froh nur einen kleinen Mietwagen (Fiat Panda) zu haben, da das letzte Stück Weg zwar geteert ist, aber über eine sehr steile Spitzkurve führt, das Manöver würde ich mit einem Mittelklassewagen nicht machen wollen. Das nächste Restaurant (O Rampa) ist zu Fuß ca. 30 Min. entfernt, kann man als Spaziergang gut laufen. Wer es abgeschieden mag ist hier also genau richtig.

Traum Aussicht
Ein schönes Haus , ein schöner Garten , ein schöner Pool , eine schöne Lage. Alles top. Ausstattung ,Qualität der Betten ebenfalls okay , vielleicht ein bisschen zu hart , das ist aber natürlich Geschmacksache. Soweit die durchaus positiven Aspekte. Das Internet ist eine Katastrophe. Wenn man Glück hat , maximal eine Stunde innerhalb eines Tages , meistens nachts. Das ist zu wenig. TV wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes auf Anfrage in Ordnung gebracht. Okay. Nicht unbedingt erforderlich , aber bei mehreren Tagen Ren , "nice to have ". Wir haben weltweit viele Unterkünfte gebucht. Was uns hier ein wenig fehlte war der Wohlfühlfaktor durch die Vermieter. Alles ein bisschen zu wenig herzlich. Ein Schlüsselkasten ersetzt so etwas nicht. Keiner vor Ort , keine persönliche Einweisung , kein herzliches Willkommen, kein Blümchen, keine Flasche Wein , Obst oder sonstiges. Das kennen wir bei Topunterkünften etwas anders , wie waren immerhin 1.1/2 Wochen vor Ort.
