It has a spacious and bright room with three single beds and view on the street for Colosseum and a comfortable double bedroom; the living room has LCD televisions with satellite channels and a sofa; the kitchen has a table for 5 people, is fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave and LCD televisions with satellite channels..

The apartment is in a historic building located in the heart of ancient Rome, in front of the picturesque park of Trajan, with fantastic view of the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali, in a unique position to enjoy the romantic and ancient Rome. This apartment is for those who love something a little different to a generic hotel room or a "could be anywhere" styled apartment. It's very old with original tiled floors and furniture and a little quirky, but has a lot of charm.... Although not quite as much charm as Enzo the owner! He is very helpful and kind and makes sure you have everything for your stay, right down to arranging transfers to and from the airport for you if you want (which are excellent). We loved that it was so close to supermarkets and little restaurants. We didn't cook (there are lots of pots, pans and utensils & a stove), but did prepare breakfasts and some lunches. It's very easy to walk everywhere and see everything in Rome and a big bonus to be able to stroll across to see the Colosseum at different times of the day without the major crowds. The apartment is very safe with an external (street) door into the courtyards and then a large entry door. We found it very clean and comfortable and there is a SMEG washing machine. We had the best time and want to thank Enzo for such a fantastic stay, we can't wait to come back ..... some day! Grazie Mille

Enzo was so warm and welcoming, showing us the ins and outs of the apartment, helping us settle in, and giving us some local recommendations to try out. We found the apartment to be exactly what we needed with a well equiped kitchen, spacious and full of character. There were plenty of fans to help with the warm weather (no air con, but we were aware of this, have no issue with not having one and fans did the job just as well ). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Enzo for making our time in Rome just that little bit more special.

Comfortable and quiet

My family of 4 (2 teenage kids) stayed in Enzo's apartment for 2 weeks. I was looking for somewhere close to the sights but away from the heavily touristed areas. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. We walked everywhere. The neighbourhood was great and felt safe. Most mornings we went out to the local bars/pasticcerias for a coffee and pastry before we set out for the day. Do not miss the Regoli pasticceria, Il Pasticciaccio and Roscioli Pietro. We also had quite a few dinners in the Monti area which was very close. We would stay here again. Thanks.

Fantastic location

The property was exactly as in the pictures. We didn’t spend much time here because there is so much to do in this amazing city. Very basic kitchen accessories, but clean and spacious. Comfortable beds, lovely high ceilings, nice and quiet. A warm welcome and good help with booking taxi to airport. Try the trattoria Morgana down the road - lovely food! Thanks!

Well appointed and well located

Spacious apartment 5 mins from the Colosseum

We stayed at Enzo's apartment for four nights in August. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for three people with large bedrooms, a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. Location is just up the hill from the Colosseum and you can see it from one of the bedroom windows. Enzo met us out the front, showed us through the apartment and gave us information on how to get to the sites we planned to visit. It was very hot in Rome, so we used the subway in preference to walking. The subway station is about tens minutes walk from the apartment and there is a large supermarket about the same distance away. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this apartment.

Good for families

Our party of 5 adults & an eight year old thought this apartment was perfect for us - very spacious & airy but very cosy with the central heating in the evenings. Kitchen was very well equipped & large enough for us all to eat together together. Situation was very convenient being across the road from the park which led down to the Colosseum, the starting point for many of our walks through Rome. The metro is also there if you want to go further afield. One night we ate at local trattorio - very good and friendly. Best of all was being collected from the airport & taken directly to the apartment to be met by Vieri & shown round it. Enzo also organised our taxi back to the airport. We would certainly recommend this apartment to any family who would enjoy the space & also the convenience of being so near all the sights.

Big apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at Enzo's. The place was beautiful with old world charm. And I can't say enough good things about the neighborhood and location. It was close to sites, amazing restaurants and public transportation.

This property (and Enzo) are just wonderful. We were a family of 5 (12,14 &17). The apartment is spacious, clean and charming. Good beds, plenty of pillows etc well kitted out kitchen although apart from breakfast we ate out every meal!! . Shower looks old but is powerful and hot. Location is just fantastic. Can walk everywhere and metro so close if wanting to go further afield. Gorgeous park just across the road leading straight to Colosseum. Enzo was as charming as the flat. We were very delayed due to passport control and he met us with a smile at 11pm!! And came to check us out at 7am on a Sunday. He was kind, helpful and we felt we could contact him with any issues, although we didn’t have any!!!! Supermarket around the corner - will need to grab milk, tea and coffee etc as not really any supplied. But that’s pretty standard. Thank you Enzo. We’ll definitely be back (maybe without the kids!)

This was a beautiful apartment in a building with it's original features. Enzo was a great host, and walked us through the apartment when we got there, and made sure we had everything we needed. He also made arrangements for us to get to the airport on our last day in Rome.

Great Apartment near the Colosseum

This was a very large apartment located near the Colosseum. I would recommend this place not only because of its location to the metro, but also because of its location to a bus stop that will take you practically anywhere you want to go in Rome. Two buses will get you to the Testaccio/Trastevere area, and others will get you pretty much anywhere you want to go downtown. My friend and I found the apartment to be clean and quiet compared to other areas of Rome. Enzo was a fantastic host who was excellent about communicating things and was very helpful with getting a transfer to the airport early in the morning for our departure. I would recommend this VRBO to friends and family.

One of the best I ever had

We needed a place to stay in Rome for a couple of days. Wanted something central to not have to deal with driving in the city. By chance I came across this gem. Huge apartment that can easily accommodate 5+ people. From the booking to the arrival the host was in contact with us. We could even get into the apartment early on the day of arrival. Everything is exactly as described. The host met us at the apartment and explained everything in detail to us. He gave me his WhatsApp number in case there were any further questions(which we didn't have). Everything you need is available at the apartment, from dishes, cutlery, additional blankets, washing machine etc. There were even 2 umbrellas next to the entrance door for rainy days. At the last day the host came by for a quick check out before we left. He even arranged for transportation to the airport for us, which was extremely helpful since none of us spoke Italian well enough. The host speaks English very well and there was no language barriers. Would definitely recommend to anybody that's looking for a place in Rome.

Tolle Lage, sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit 2 Kindern (8 und 15 Jahre) in diesem Appartement sehr genossen. Der Straßenlärm ist tatsächlich ein Problem, da die Fenster nur 1 Scheibe haben. Die Lage und der sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter gleichen das wieder aus. Zum Colosseum sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten und in der Nähe findet man gute Restaurants, Cafes und einen großen Supermarkt. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, denen die Lage mehr Wert ist, als eine ruhige Nacht.

Center location for many sight-seeings in Rome. No AC but it was during Oct for our trip so we did not need one. We felt safe walking from the apartment visiting many places in Rome- Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roma Termini… We event walked to Piazza del Popolo near Borghese Garden - 45min. The property owner - Enzo- was very nice. He provided good communication, booked us a taxi from airport, and all info re: our stay in Rome. This was our family first trip to Rome, so we certainly appreciated all Enzo’s assistances making our trip a pleasure one. Thank you Enzo!

Great location

This place is in a great location, perfect for walking around Rome. We had a great time and it was close to everything! Grocery store just a 5 min walk restaurants all around and just a few min walk to the colosseum. Lots of room for us and our 3 kids. Enzo was very helpful and did a great job of checking us in. He is very prompt on getting us checked in and also checked out. I would definitely recommend this property if you want to stay in the heart of Rome.

Few days with family in Rome

The location was great for the train station and the Coloseum/Forum. Restaurants and cafes were only a couple of blocks away. We also enjoyed the park across the street. Enzo was terrific to communicate with and very responsive as we were juggling changing arrival times. He also was helpful in arranging a cab for our trip to the airport. We really appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment. Lots of room for four adults to spread out. It was really hot while we were there so it was a bit noisy at night when we had the windows open.

Location is fantastic!

Location is ideal for Colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine hill. Alter of Fatherland easy walk. We walked to Pantheon and Piazza Navona no problem, took about 20 mins. We even walked from Borguese Gardens and museum but these are a little further north. Enzo is a great host! Easily accessed and responded so fast through what’s app. Apartment is as advertised and has all the basics. No frills but definitely adequate and the location is truly great. At the end of our stay Enzo assisted us with luggage storage near the train station. Oh and use the FREENOW app for any taxi service! Thanks Enzo!

Great location near the colosseum

The property was spacious and clean. It had almost everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We were missing a kettle, but were able to make do with the gas hob to heat up water. The host was very hospitable. He met us at the apartment and gave us full instructions on how to open the doors, windows etc. He also allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment for a few hours after checking out. This was much appreciated. The only downside was the mattress and pillow quality. We didn’t sleep too well due to the discomfort: flat and lumpy. But all that said we would definitely go back and stay, because the location and everything else was perfect! Thank you Enzo.

Spacious apartment in Rome.

Lovely apartment on first floor in nice neighborhood close to the colosseum. Big enough for the four of us with plenty of extra room. Showers were a challenge with minimal hot water but we just spaced them out throughout the day and night. Enzo is the perfect host!

Great location in Rome!

This location was ideal for us. It was right across the street from a park that led right tot the Coliseum, Forum, and so on. We were close enough to everything, but it still felt like a nice residential neighborhood. Enzo was very friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. He went the extra mile with us for our very early check out. The apartment was exactly as advertised.
