The stone house is built into the hillside so cool in summer and warm in winter. It is set in tranquil, shaded terraced gardens leading down to a sun-filled pool area. Comfortable sleeps 6 with two lounges. Dining area inside and large shaded dining area on the patio. Access from the back of the house into Foret de Partlatges and many hiking / biking trails nearby. So much to do in the area such as kayaking at Gorge du Tarn, beaches 45 minutes away, cultural centres of Montpellier, wine tasting in Montpeyroux, St Guilleme le Desert, Mont Ventoux and even trip to Barcelona just 3 hours away.

Vacances en famille

Très belle maison avec beaucoup de caractère et un jardin magnifique. Bien située pour visiter la région et arpenter les nombreux chemins de randonnée. Le temps n’était pas propice aux baignades dans la piscine mais nous avons profité de ses abords idéalement ensoleillés l’après midi. Ping pong et billard à disposition. Beaucoup d’espace pour partager jeux , discussions et repas !

Vacances au calme

Nous avons séjourné dans une maison atypique joliment décorée avec des coins et des recoins. Un super jardin arboré, en suivant le chemin au fond de celui-ci une piscine pour se rafraichir. Nous avons passé une semaine de déconnection totale, au calme entre ballade, apéro et piscine.

Zwei wunderschöne Wochen!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem speziellen Haus. Ich liebe spezielle Häuser! Der Pool ist großartig, das Grundstück ist toll! Die Informationen des Vermieters zum Haus und zu möglichen Unternehmungen sind super. Auch Fragen zwischendurch wurden sehr schnell beantwortet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut!! Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

Eine paradisische Entdeckung!

Dieses Landhaus ist ein einziger Traum! Ruhig gelegen in unmittelbarer Nähe landschaftlich beeindruckender Naturparks des Languedocs, der Küste und Montpelliers bietet es den idealen Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge. Die gepflegten, sorgsam bepflanzten Terrassengärten, die immer wieder neue Panoramen auf die Umgebung eröffnen, halten als Highlight einen riesigen, idyllisch gelegenen Swimmingpool mit moderner Salzfilteranlage bereit. Großzügige Gastgeber, die vorher viele hilfreiche Informationen zur Verfügung stellen und jederzeit per Mail erreichbar sind.

Great stay in rural French villa

We had a great stay at Ian’s property. The location is fantastic with lots of things to do. There was a storm one night that caused power to go off in the area but Ian's contact in the area was really helpful and provided us with a cool box to chill our food. Would definitely recommend staying. Thanks for a great week

Cycling trip

A very comfortable week - Lovely property & the bonus of ring able to cycle into the National park & up into the hills from the house without using a vehicle was fantastic. Some great cycling routes.

Beautiful country house for a peaceful stay

Everything we needed was in the house. We wanted peace and a restful place.. and that's what we found there! Be aware: do not expect to have a swim when its cold outside, the swimming pool is not heated unless by the sun.

Fantastic holiday in Saint-Étienne-de-Gourgas

We spend to weeks in the house. We enjoyed the lovely house and garden with the pool. There are a lot of hiking opportunites nearby. We got the key for the tennis court at the town hall and could use the court without any extra cost. The host did answer our questions immediatly.

Aufenthalt mit Kleinkind

Wir waren zu viert im Haus von Ian und Siobhan. Das Haus bietet zwei Doppelschlafzimmer sowie zwei Einzelbetten in enem Aufenthaltsraum. Es gibt aber einen zweiten Aufenthaltsraum (Küche + Sitzecke), so dass auch 6 Personen sehr gut in dem Haus untergebracht werden können. Besonders genossen haben wir den Billard-Tisch, aber auch sonst ist die Ausstattung sehr gut. Auf Grund des Wetters und der frühen Jahreszeit im Jahr (April) haben wir den Pool nicht genutzt. Der Garten ist wunderschön, genauso die Umgebung. Hier lassen sich tolle Wanderungen tätigen und andere Ausflugsziele in Hülle und Fülle anfahren. Danke Ian für das saubere und schöne Haus!

Prachtige, charmante woning

De gastheer was zeer behulpzaam. Het is mooi en goed ingericht. Toegankelijkheid is wat minder door de vele trappen, maat dat vervalt in het niets met de vele faciliteiten. Heel veel kan en mag in dit huis: ik vermoed Britse hospitaliteit. Top locatie voor vakantie

A picturesque escape

Our family were looking for a place to all come together after a year apart, and we couldn’t have found a better spot! The owners were incredibly kind and very gracious leading up to, and during our stay. The home itself is spacious, welcoming, and with a beautiful garden and views. The location is perfect if you’re looking to get away from it all, cook up a feast in their well equipped kitchen, and the local amenities are within easy reach. We would very much recommend the property and would come back in a heartbeat!

Ian hat alle Probleme sofort geregelt oder regeln lassen, innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben in diesem typischen Landhaus dessen Charakter durch die speziellen Einrichtungsgegenstände noch unterstrichen wird. Sehr persönlich. Fernsehen hat überhaupt nicht gefehlt, Handy-Empfang war gut, nur an dem WLAN kann gearbeitet werden... Können wir nur weiterempfehlen.
