This little cottage is located in a distance of only 8km from Lucca, near the “street of wine”, in a residential area. La Capannella is completely free standing and has been restructured with care and transformed into an inviting holiday home.
The house disposes of a private garden (about 400 sqm) equipped with table, chairs and a barbeque and a swimming pool, (built in the earth 6,60 x 2,8m – depth: 1,2m) also equipped with deck chairs and sun umbrella.
Parking within the property.
IThe Guests can organize foot walks or bike trips to the surrounding hills or visit the beautiful historical Villas in the surroundings, such as Villa Mansi and Villa Reale, Villa Oliva and Villa Torrigiani. Shops (100m) and restaurants (1 – 2 km) are within an easy reach. The most important Tuscan art cities like Florence, Siena and Pisa can also be discovered in easily.

Entrance ground Floor: spacious living room with fireplace, 1 double bed settee, TV – Sat, tall glass door with exit onto the garden, kitchen/dining room with table and chairs, stove (4 fires)/oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, exit from the kitchen onto the outdoor area. Night zone: 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom with exit onto the garden, 1 bathroom with cabin shower, toilet, bidet.
The house is furnished with care in cottage style with wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled pavements and in friendly pastel coloured walls.
Air conditioning in the living room and in the 2 bedrooms.
Possibility to rent the house for a maximum of 2 people during the middle, low and very low season, reducing the weekly price by 15%.

Pool opened from beginning of May until end of September, for the exact dates please contact us.

We've had such a wonderful week in your gorgeous villa. Thank you for the fruit, wine and amazing Limoncello. The villa has been such a nice place to relax, our son Jacob has really enjoyed sleeping in his room and has got used to a late night swim before bed time. The bed linen and towels smell so homely and every detail has been so well thought out, we couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks again!

Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday - La Capannella is a real home away from home for us now. The house and pool are absolutely perfect, and both owners are so kind and welcoming. We have stayed in many holiday homes from The Isle of Skye to California and nowhere has been more homely than here. Everything we could need. We visited Lucca every 2nd day - it's so close! - also did a day trip to Cinque Terre which we would highly recommend. Bike rental from Lucca was super easy - Ciclismoplus are great. Also Gelateria Veneta in Lucca (the oldest gelato shop) is very good! Another amazing holiday - hope to see you soon!

Thank you so much Grazia&Sergio, you have made our stay comfortable and pleasant and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The villa is stunning and perfect in every way. The garden is immaculate and the smell of the jasmine blossoms was incredible. We have explored much of north-west Tuscany and have fallen in love with Lucca. Viareggio and Montecatini were great days out and Florence took our breath away. Weather has been really warm and sunny and the pool has been a godsend. We wish we had booked a little longer. No doubt we will try and book again in the future!

Idyllic Italian home. Sergio and Gratzia are the perfect hosts. They were helpful and have provided absolutely everything you could want in a holiday home. We feel very lucky to have stayed twice now and will be booking to go back. The house itself is beautiful and has been so well thought out it is a real home - the star of the show is without a doubt the stunning garden and swimming pool. It was 40 degrees when we were there and the pool was the perfect place to be. The house is a very quick and easy 10 minute drive to Lucca so is perfectly located. All in all the best holiday rental we have stayed in.

Das Ferienhaus sowie der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön, sehr sauber und komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit . Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen !! Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist absolut perfekt um die Toskana tu erkunden. Fazit: ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wenn wir nochmal in die Toskana fahren, dann kommen wir gerne in dieses Ferienhaus und zu diesen tollen Vermietern zurück!! Herzlichen Dank

Tout était parfait

Une maison où on se sent bien tout de suite. Grazia et Sergio nous mettent à l'aise dès notre arrivée. La maison est parfaite pour une famille de 4 personnes. Sergio explique la signification de la décoration "cinéma". Ils nous donnent des astuces de visites , des adresses de restaurants... L'accueil se fait avec une jolie coupe de fruits, du chianti et de petites attentions sympathiques tout au long du séjour. Les propriétaires sont à la fois discrets et à l'écoute... Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Liebe Grazia, Lieber Sergio, In Ihrem Ferienhaus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Begrussung war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns uber das Obst, das Ol, den Wein und das Wasser gefreut. Der Garten und der Pool waren sehr sauber und gemutlich dort haben wir gerne unsere Zeit verbracht. Wir waren in Lucca un in Pisa und haben die Windhohle "La Grotta del Vento" besichtigt, eine Wanderung durch den Canyon "Orrido di Botri" gemacht und 2 Tage am Strand relaxt. Wir wunschen Ihnen alles Gute, Gesundheit und eine schone Zeit mit Ihren Feriengaesten!

We have spent a wonderful two weeks in Italy, we have visited Siena, Florence and Pisa. Elliot and Luca really liked going up the tower, I however was not so keen! Siena and Florence we highly recommend you to visit, really beautiful. The villa has been amazing, the kids have loved the pool. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Sergio and Grazia have been wonderful, such lovely people, who really do go out of their way to help. Enjoy your stay.

Sergio & Grazia, Merci beaucoup pour des vacances inoubliables! Nous avons tout apprecié dans la maison ainsi que le jardin et bien sur la piscine! Difficile de sortir les enfants de l'eau le soir. Nous avons pu visiter toutes les villes que nous voulions au départ de Capannori (Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gemignano..) Merci aussi pour vos nombreuses attentions (tomates , citron..) des gestes que nous avons beaucoup apprecié. Nous sommes désolés pour notre difficulté avec l'anglais et l'italien. We loved our stay at the villa. Grazia and Sergio were so lovely. They were so helpful and even out some tomatoes they had grown in their garden through to us. The house is beautiful and so unique - lots of memorabilia from the cinema that the owners family used to own. The pool was amazing - set in a lovely garden with fruit trees and flowers. Everything was so well kept. Spotlessly clean and just everything you could want from a holiday home. We would love to visit again.

Semaine parfaite dans cette belle maison

Nous avons passé une semaine extra dans cette villa ! Tout est fait pour se sentir comme à la maison et Sergio et sa femme sont juste adorables ! Ils nous ont accueillit avec des fruits et une bouteille de vin! La maison est fonctionnelle propre tout y est le linge de maison . Les enfants et nous mêmes avons apprécié la piscine même tard le soir en rentrant de nos visites car l’eau est à 30 toute la journée ! De là nous avons pu visiter les plus grandes villes comme Pise, Sienne, Lucca,san gimignano , les cinque terres !! Merci encore pour leur accueil nous y retourneront les yeux fermés
