You may leave your car at home and reach easily Lucca by train or car and then explore whole Tuscany. This cosy and characteristic apartment is located in the heart of the centre which allows you to discover the centre by bicycle or on foot.
The old town of Lucca has a special flair, which attracts every year thousands and thousands of tourists.
Lucca could protect over all the years its arts treasures thank to its town wall; to mention are for example: the amphitheatre, the dome of San Martino and the wonderful church of San Michele or “palazzo Pfanner” which was chosen for film sets, because of its beauty, by many film directors, i.e. “portrait of a lady” by Jane Campion with Nicole Kidman.
Lucca is also known to be the city of birth of the well-known opera writer Giacomo Puccini, which is appreciated in the whole world!
