Voro cottage nestles in the village of Lithakia some 300 metres above sea level with spectacular views of the sea and the Argassi peninsula looking across Kalamaki bay and towards the town of Zakynthos.
Nestling amongst the olive groves the property is centrally located for most of the islands amenities yet enjoys a rural and tranquil location that is private but not isolated.
Being less than five minutes drive away from beautiful sandy beaches and local tavernas. The traditional village of Lithakia is in the southern part of Zakynthos and is home to the Olive press museum, local churches, Dennis's greek taverna, freddos cafe and a minimart.
Voro cottage is a charming property , offering privacy surrounded by pine clad mountains, olive groves and a superb panoramic view of the sea and sunrise.
The property sleeps two in a king-sized bed with a separate bathroom with wc and shower.
The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, two ring electric hob, kettle and toaster enabling guests to enjoy dining on the large balcony whilst enjoying the spectacular views.
A dip in the private plunge pool is a must as is relaxing on the sun terracce .
Voro cottage is equipped with air conditioning and a safety deposit box which are provided free of charge.
There is ample parking on site.
There is an outside bbq available for use, subject to local fire restrictions at the time of your visit.

Delightful cottage with fabulous views
We had a great week in this little cottage. It was well appointed and the addition of a plunge pool was very welcome. Denise and Paul were amazing hosts and supplied everything we needed.

Great location
It's a great place to stay. The house is small but great for a couple. We lived outdoors so not a problem. When it's to hot you have a small pool to cool down. We can recommand it.

Wonderful property!
We stayed for six glorious days in Zykanthos. Cannot recommend Denise and Paul highly enough. They were friendly and kind and responsive. The Villa is conveniently located and the plunge pool was key. Don't wait; book this place now!!

Perfect for a romantic vacation
We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful apartment on this amazing island. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the sea and nature is so peaceful. We had really nothing to complain about in the Apartment(very clean / nicely and comfortably furnished / good location).With theire positive and friendly attitude the hosts Denise &Paul helped us with some great advice and tips. High expectations were exceeded
We originally booked this cottage in June 2020,due to covid this trip wasn't possible, but we never forgot this place. Our travel plans and the availability of this accommodation never lined up until now. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures (you can watch the sunrise directly from the very comfortable bed!) Denise and Paul were amazing hosts, we would definitely recommend this place

Brilliant Stay
What a wonderful place this is, the views are stunning and Denise and Paul are lovely and very helpful....nothing is too much trouble. They are on hand if you need them with plenty of information to help with your holiday. The cottage is just as you see it in the photos, and it is well kitted out. Fantastic little cottage with a great view
This is a fantastic little cottage with lovely attention to detail and very comfortable. The view from the patio and plunge pool is spectacular. Paul and Denise are very helpful and friendly. They will respect your privacy but are available at any point should you need them. You do need your own transport and there is parking on the property. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful break this is the place to be.

A little piece of paradise
The location of this cottage is perfect; the surroundings are tranquil and the views are breath taking. It is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped, and the hosts are welcoming, helpful and friendly. What’s not to love? Voro cottage is ideal if you want to relax and do very little (especially with it’s beautiful little pool) but it is also ideally placed to use as a base to explore the island, the mountains, villages and beaches. My holiday is idyllic; I will definitely return. Thank you.

Long awaited greek island holiday
An absolutely lovely little property. Clean and tidy with everything you would need. Denise and Paul are both welcoming and will help with whatever you need without compromising on your privacy. If you want to learn more about living in a village and the typical way of life rather than the tourist resort experience but still maintaining your 'creature comforts' you could look no further. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone . We will definitely be returning.

Tranquil and beautiful
We had a lovely stay in Lithakia for a week. The cottage is a joy - with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on any Greek island. The view was outstanding and there were several areas to sit and chill out at night/in the morning which was lovely. The plunge pool was great to cool off in and the air con kept the cottage at a beautiful temperature at night. The garden was well kept and filled with all sorts of wildlife, so many bees and butterflies, geckos, lizards, swallows and buzzards circling overhead. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful but only a very short drive to lots of bustling restaurants. Denise and Paul were friendly and welcoming hosts - I wish we had spent more time with them, we were gallivanting all over. Thanks for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful relaxing setting
Just returned from 10 days holiday in the peaceful and tranquil Voro Cottage. With wonderful views from the beautiful garden & property across the coastline and bay this really is an excellent location to relax and unwind. The property is in a beautiful location up a quiet side road amongst olive groves in Lithakia. The property itself was well appointed with the added bonus of air conditioning and a private plunge pool which provides an excellent cooling off opportunity from the hot sun. The cottage was well equipped with an extremely comfortable large bed and practical kitchen area. Mr & Mrs Carr were excellent hosts and were always friendly attentive and happy to give advice and help on the best places to visit or eat on the island.We would not hesitate to return in the future to this little corner of Zakynthon paradise.

Di solito non lascio recensioni ma Voro Cottage merita essere ricordato come la meta perfetta a Zakintos. Paul e Denise straordinari e assolutamente discreti pur vivendo di fianco a noi. Posto incantevole e riservato con la perla rara della piccola ma preziosa piscina ad uso ESCLUSIVO con vista sull isola. Non potevamo trovare di meglio. La fortuna a volte bussa alla porta giusta.

Tolles Cottage
Das Häuschen ist genau so, wie beschrieben! Ein toller Garten, vom Balkon und dem kleinen Pool aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen! Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, Cafe und eine Taverne! Wir haben uns bei Paul und Denise sehr wohlgefüht ! Paul und Denise sind aufmerksame und sehr nette Gastgeber !

Wunderschön
Das kleine Ferienhaus ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen mit einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Der kleine Pool ist perfekt zum abfrischen. Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Die direkt daneben wohnenden Vermieter und deren Hunde sind (im Gegensatz zu den anderen in der Umgebung) unauffällig. Wünsche werden sehr nett promt erfüllt.Das Tauchbecken ist gut für eine kleine Abkühlung. Ohne PKW nicht zu empfehlen.Preisempfehlung 50 Euro am Tag

Zauberhafte Unterkunft - Absolute Empfehlung!
Wunderschöne kleine und sehr gepflegte Unterkunft mit einem sehr netten flachen Pool, liebevollen Details und einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Im Cottage findet man wirklich alles, was man braucht und es ist noch zu erwähnen…die Matratzen im Bett waren top!!! Paul und Denise waren liebenswerte Gastgeber und jederzeit für einen erreichbar, obwohl man absolut für sich ist. Wir werden das Cottage sehr sehr gerne jedem weiter empfehlen!

Perfect Cottage with amazing view
We got married in Zakynthos and the accommodation is perfect for a few romantic days. A typical Greek designed blue and white house and everywhere beautiful plants around. The cottage is very pretty and cozy and you can find everything you need. If something is missing, the hosts will be happy to help. Paul and Denise are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Everything is very clean, the garden is well-kept and last but not least: the view of the sea and the mountains from your own small terrace is simply breathtaking. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend a stay there. Wir haben auf Zakynthos geheiratet und für ein paar romantische Tage ist die Unterkunft perfekt. Ein typisch griechisch gestaltetes blau-weißes Häuschen und überall wunderschöne Pflanzen ringsherum. Das Cottage ist sehr hübsch und gemütlich und man findet alles, was man braucht. Falls doch etwas fehlt, helfen die Gastgeber gern aus. Paul und Denise sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Alles ist sehr sauber, der Garten gepflegt und nicht zu vergessen: der Blick aufs Meer und die Berge von der eigenen kleinen Terrasse aus ist einfach atemberaubend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt dort nur empfehlen.
