The apartment is located on the first floor of a larger building, a former XVII century Monastery of the Clarisse Order. The rooms maintain the original vaulted structure and brick floors. The rooms decoration is modern, with stylish pieces of furniture from the Forties and Fifties. The apartment is reached walking through a charming cloister garden, where one can spend relaxing and pleasant hours…

Soresina makes an ideal starting point to visit Italian art towns such as Milan 64 km, Cremona 24 km, Bergamo 56 km, Mantua 90 km, Brescia 54 km, Piacenza, Lodi, Soncino and many others. Most of them are reachable in less than an hour and all are packed with beautiful sights and works of art. Besides its monuments and museums Milan is nowadays internationally renowned as the fashion and design capital of Italy.

The Lake of Garda is reachable in a hour and a half, one can visit the historical towns of Sirmione, Gardone, Desenzano and also take boat tours on the Lake.

Amazingly helpful!
The monastery is as beautiful as pictured with a wonderfully kept lawn and garden. The apartment was spacious enough for our family of 5 and there were multiple places to eat within a short walking distance. The best part of our stay, however, was Alberto and his wife. They were super helpful with helping us find fun activities to do in the area with our kids (ages 8, 10, 11). I received a speeding ticket from my time in Italy in the mail and had no idea how to pay it since all the instructions were in Italian. Alberto, however, was very helpful at contacting the local authorities and sending me instructions on how to pay (even though it has been 3 months since our stay). I really cannot say enough about how helpful Alberto is and how lovely the apartment was. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the table tennis!

L'appartamento è molto bello, accogliente e particolare, essendo parte di una costruzione antica. Dotato di tutto il necessario. Comoda location per visitare città vicine. Splendido il giardino dove, tempo permettendo. è possibile gustare un aperitivo immersi nel verde. Il Signor Alberto e la consorte sono persone molto disponibili, gentili, ma non invadenti. Ci siamo sentiti fra amici.

Perfekt!
Wir haben eine schöne Woche in Soresina verbracht. Die Wohnung ist schön, sehr sauber, die Gastgeber freundlich, die Lage zwischen vielen schönen Städten praktisch. Und direkt nebenan gibt es in der Cantina leckeres Essen und Wein. Es ist auch ein schöner Ort, um einfach im Garten etwas zu lesen oder spazieren zu gehen. Ich kann den ganzen guten Rezensionen nicht viel hinzufügen, außer, dass es wirklich ein besonderer Ort ist. Vielen Danke an Alberto und Bruna.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einer traumhaften Location.
Es war eine rundum gelungene Urlaubswoche. Bruna und Alberto sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber die bei Bedarf jederzeit für ihre Gäste da sind. Wir haben bei anregenden Gesprächen viel über die außergewöhnliche Unterkunft erfahren. Der mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Klostergarten lädt zum verweilen und Entspannen ein. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man mit dem PKW viele sehenswerte Orte sowie die Seen Iseo und Garda in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Ein Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen sowie ein Frühstückslokal sind nur wenige Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Wir möchten uns an dieser Stelle ganz herzlich bei Bruna und Alberto für die wunderschöne Zeit bedanken. Rita und Fredo

Un enchantement!
La maison d'Alberto et Bruna est unique. C'est un lieu atypique qui a gardé son authenticité et que les années n'ont pas dénaturé, un ancien monastère aux airs de demeure toscane. L'appartement du premier étage est confortable, très bien équipé mais surtout meublé et décoré avec un goût exquis. Amateurs de demeures anciennes, d'objets et de tableaux chinés, d'art et d'histoire, vous serez conquis. La maison accueille l'atelier d'un sculpteur, Leone LODI si bien que l'art semble s'inviter partout. Le jardin est empreint de poésie, que l'on y observe les chats au petit matin ou que l'on y prenne l'"aperitivo" quand la fraicheur du soir arrive enfin. Alberto est un hôte délicieux, discret et attentionné. Cultivé, il parle un français remarquable. Les visites autour de Soresina sont nombreuses et intéressantes. Vous n'êtes pas loin de Milan et de la chartreuse de Pavie.Vous pouvez aussi rayonner comme nous l'avons fait jusqu'à Mantoue, Parme, Vérone ou le Lac de Garde. Nous avons séjourné chez Alberto et Bruna une semaine avec nos trois enfants. Vous avez tout le nécessaire sur place pour faire des courses (plusieurs supermarchés, marché le lundi) ou pour vous restaurer (Trattoria "La cantine du théâtre" juste à côté, glacier Tip Top). Table de Ping Pong judicieusement installée pour occuper les enfants et vous permettre de vous reposer. Pour ce qui nous concerne, nous reviendrons, c'est certain!

Idealer Ort zum Entspannen und zum Erkunden der Umgebung
Fast zwei Wochen duften wir die Gastfreundschaft von Bruna und Alberto genießen. Die großzügige Wohnung ist eingebettet in ein sehr schönes Gebäudeensemble und einen traumhaften Hofgarten, der uns bei der Hitze ein sehr angenehmer Rückzugsort war. Von Soresina aus kann man die Umgebung hervorragend erkunden. Egal ob Iseosee, Mailand oder Bergamo, Cremona, Brescia, Crema, Piacenza, man konnte alle Ziele auch gut ohne Benutzung der Autobahn innerhalb einer Stunde erreichen. Den hohen Temperaturen ist es zu verdanken, dass wir viel Zeit im Garten mit einem Buch verbracht haben und hervorragend zur Ruhe gekommen sind. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, alles ist einladend und freundlich. Ein Atelier mit dem Nachlass des Bildhauers Leoni Lodi und seine wie zufällig im Garten und Treppenhaus aufgestellten Plastiken verleihen dem ganzen Ensemble einen besonderen Charakter. Bruna und Alberto sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Wir haben gern ihre Tipps befolgt und sehr angenehme Gespräche geführt.

C'est un petit coin de paradis dans un décor très bien entretenu, propre et calme. Très bien situé pour visiter la région et facilement accessible. Nos hôtes nous ont réservé une petite attention en arrivant. Ils se sont également montré discrets mais aussi serviables lorsqu'on leur a demandé quelques conseils pour des restaurants ou des visites.

Wunderschön!

Magischer Ort!
Ein Ort der Ruhe mitten in der Stadt! Die ehemalige Klosteranlage ist schon sehenswert, genau wie die Wohnräume. Das kunstvolle Ambiente verleiht dem Ort einen besonderen Charm. Der Innenhofgarten ist einfach traumhaft. Eine entspannte Woche verbrachten wir mit unseren Kindern dort - jeden Morgen frische Brötchen und die wirklich leckeren süssen Köstlichkeiten der Pasticceria Roberto Botta, Via Genala 68! Wonderful appartment with unique charme
We stayed at this wonderful appartment for 4 days together with 3 adults and one child. My friends came by car from Munich and I came by airplane and train from Berlin. Alberto was so nice to pick me up at Soresina railway station since my friends did not arrive yet. The appartment was very nicely furnished and big enough for 5 people. The garden is just a magnific place to have breakfast or just to sit there and relax. The place is just perfect if you want to visit Soresina or other cities close by like Cremona or Milano. Alltogether we enjoyed our stay at a maximum also thanks to Alberto's hospitality and would highly recommend this place for a stay in this nice region of Italy.

Stilvolle Oase
Wir waren 6 Tage in Soresina und haben das Appartement 'Bruna' bewohnt. Die Wohnung für 4 Personen befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und ist dezent, aber sehr stilvoll gestaltet. Die Ausstattung bietet jegliches erforderliches Equipment. Nach einigen Tagen Messe in Mailand haben wir die Ruhe sehr genossen. Der Garten ist wirklich eine ruhige und grüne Oase und lässt den Alltag schnell vergessen. Die Nähe zu vielen spannenden Städten der Lombardei lässt keine Langeweile aufkommen. Très agréable séjour en Lombardie.
Nous sommes venus à deux reprises dans ce lieu « magique » (août 2011 et mai 2013). Soresina est une petite ville tranquille à quelques dizaines de km de villes et de sites très intéressants (Cremone, Milan, Bergame, lac d’Iseo, Sabbioneta inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine de l’humanité…) L’appartement « Giacomo » qui donne sur le jardin, est grand, fonctionnel, aménagé avec goût et conforme à la description. On s’y sent tout de suite bien et il n’y manque rien. Le jardin est magnifique et les hôtes super gentils, attentionnés et chaleureux.

Dé locatie voor kunst- en cultuur vakanties
Een fantastisch vakantieverblijf, mooier nog dan de foto's doen vermoeden, in een rustig niet-toeristisch dorp Soresina gelegen tussen Milaan en Cremona. Zeer smaakvol ingerichte kamers met volop ruimte en keurig schoon en onderhouden. Een oase van rust met een zeer mooi onderhouden binnentuin. De eigenaar Alberto Geroldi geeft indien gewenst veel informatie over de omgeving en mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes en eetgelegenheden. Gebruik van Wifi is mogelijk en zeer handig. Soresina is een middelpunt voor het bezoeken van vrijwel alle kunst- en cultuur hoogtepunten (binnen anderhalf uur rijden) in Lombardije. Een echte aanrader.

Agréable séjour en Lombardie Septembre 2012
Location tout à fait conforme à la description, propre et meublé avec beaucoup de goût , avec un jardin superbe: une demeure pleine de charme! Nous avons surtout apprécié l'accueil de la famille Géroldi ,attentive au bon déroulement de notre séjour et les bons conseils du propriétaire sur les endroits à visiter. Situation géographique idéale pour découvrir la richesse et le patrimoine de cette belle région. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.Location à recommander sans hésitation. Traumwohnung !
Wir waren für eine Woche in Soresina, das als Ausgangspunkt für Städtereisen, wie Mailand, Bergamo (ein Muß!!), Piacenza, Lodi, Cremona!! usw. ziemlich optimal liegt. Die alte Villa lässt was Comfort und Ausstattung angeht keine Wünsche offen, und der dazugehörige Garten sucht wirklich seines Gleichen!!! Der Vermieter, Alberto, ein überaus freundlicher und zuvorkommender Herr, begrüßte uns mit lokalem Gebäck und einer Flasche Wein. Kater Gi-Gi, hat uns gut unterhalten. Bei offenen Fenster, ohne jegliche Lärmbelästigung, zu schlafen ist sehr angenehm und erholsam. Insgesamt eine sehr zu empfehlende Location!!!
