Very bright. In its 57 square meters you will find a lounge with two balconies, a nice bedroom with arched window, a kitchen with another balcony and a bathroom. It is equipped with a double bed european size, two single sofa beds, travel cot, TV, internet, air conditioning with heat pump, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils, bedding and towels. From its balconies you can observe a beautiful view of the Plaza de Tirso de Molina and Magdalena Street. The next most parking is 5 minutes walk to the square of Jacinto Benavente.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of historic Madrid. Right out of the metro station Tirso de Molina 10 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor. Finca cultural highlights of the recently renovated nineteenth century. Former property of playwright Luis Vélez de Guevara that names the street, said that it wrote 'the limping devil'. This street is parallel to street Cañizares where is a place of worship of flamenco, Casa Patas.
Superbly located just a few meters from the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, San Miguel Market, the famous street market on Sundays and holidays is installed: El Rastro and popular nightlife area, Huertas and Plaza Santa Ana
Walking down the street Atocha you will find the Museo de Arte Reina Sofía and close to it the Prado and the Thyssen Museum and close to these Atocha station from where the AVE to Cordoba, Seville and Barcelona.

Bright, Clean and 3 balconies

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time. Antonio was very helpful. The location is centrally located. Kitchen is well stocked. I hope we can return.

Location: The apartment is ideally located - every major attraction was within a ten minute walk

The apartment is meticulously clean and well furnished. The living room is large - plenty of space for the two of us. As well, being in the corner of the building we had many large windows.

Great Place to Stay in Madrid

The location was great! A short 3 block walk to 2 different grocery stores (LIDL and Carrefour; Carrefour was open 24 hours) and to the Tirso de Molina Metro station. There were several good restaurants in the neighborhood and we really enjoyed the Plaza Major. We walked ALL over Madrid from the apartment. It really was in a great location. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable. The apartment was located up a flight of stairs (no elevator) but it was very manageable with our luggage. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove top and a full size refrigerator/freezer. There was also a dishwasher and clothes washer in the kitchen with a clothes drying rack available. Jose Antonio met us at the apartment and showed us around. He is very helpful and arranged for our taxi ride back to the airport. Jose Antonio answered all my questions and was very responsive while I was making the arrangements on line. Communications were timely. I would definitely recommend this location and woldn't hesitate to stay here again. All around grat experience, great location, and great time in Madrid.

Great place to stay in Madrid

This was a wonderful place to stay. So close to the center of the city, we walked everywhere. It was clean and neat and had all the amenities we needed. The owner was so kind and helpful. It was our cozy little home away from home. We highly recommend it!

Highly recommended in Madrid

The communication throughout the entire process was excellent with Jose. He responded quickly to all emails and was very helpful in providing info in advance of our trip with regards to train/metro and airport transfers. The check in process was perfect, Jose was at the apartment at the agreed time and gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment. The apartment is beautiful. The photos of the apartment are exact, but what you don't see on the VRBO site is its charm. The hard wood floors are gleaming, the apartment is full of light, and it is on the corner of the building so there are four sets of windows that open unto the street below giving you an authentic feel of life in central Madrid. Finally the location is premium. You can walk to all the main sites in Madrid within a maximum of 30 minutes. But for us we had only 3 days in Madrid so we were happy to be able use the Metro; .you can see the Metro stop from the apartment window it is so close. It is so easy to use and made it so much easier to see so much more in the short time we were there. This is an excellent apartment...everything is provided for you and the location can not be beat. Thanks Jose for making the last few days of our 17 day Spanish journey perfect. Oh and sorry we ate all the chocolates :) Randall and Normand

Great place in great location

The property was exactly as described in the advertisement, and it is in a great central location, so it was easy to walk to most places we wanted to go to. Jose was good with communicating and being available by phone if needed and was very prompt when checking us in.

Nice appartment and great city location

Nice 1st floor appartment in Centro and very close to Tirso de Molina metro station and within walking distance to most sights such as The Royal Palace, Retiro Park and La Latina. No need to use the metro. The appartment was very nice and modern with somewhat limited space in the kitchen and more kitchenware and cutlery would be welcome but this issue may have now been taken care of. A 24/7 Carrefour supermarket and a Lidl supermarket down the street.

The apartment was great. We each had a bath towel and a hand towel. There were no dish towels nor paper towels so we needed to use the bath towels in the kitchen. I would have appreciated more information about the area with suggestions for tourists—restaurants, shopping, etc. The travel brochures were outdated. It’s always helpful for non-Spanish speakers to have a bit of guidance.

Great location great apartment.

This was a great little place to stay. Nicely appointed, close to everything. A metro station up the block. Several little plazas to enjoy. A short walk from the train station which made getting to outlying areas easy. Jose was a great host. Everything we needed was taken care of. He gave us the basic layout of the area when we checked in which was a great help. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great apartment and location!

Rented this apartment in December 2016. Jose is fantastic! Always quick to respond and very agreeable. Location is key to walking to just about everything or a quick hop of the Metro. Apartment is perfect. Spotless and beautiful. Everything you will need. Kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook. Washing machine was wonderful allowing us to wash our clothes. There is a grocery market just around the corner. You will be very happy in this apartment. I know exactly where I will stay next time I am in Madrid. Thank you Jose!!

Appartement central et moderne

Appartement très bien localisé dans Madrid, à proximité de tous les points de visite, dans un quartier vivant. Appartement moderne, sobre, propre, super salle de bain, bel immeuble et communs très propres. Idéal pour 2 , au delà trop juste. Hôte très disponible et arrangeant sur les horaires. Un seul bémol l'équipement trop juste pour faire de la cuisine ( pas de torchon, pas de vrai couteau, pas d'espace de rangement, casserole abimée.).

Perfekte Wohnung für einen Madridbesuch

Die Wohnung ist sehr praktisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit sehr gutem Bett und guter Dusche und sehr sauber. Nur die Ausstattung mit Geschirr und Kochtöpfen ist etwas spärlich (aber bei dem Angebot an Essen in Märkten und Restaurants gut zu verkraften). Das Beste ist die zentrale Lage der Wohnung; fast alles ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen dort verbracht und können die Wohnung nur an alle (auch unsere Kinder) empfehlen. Brigitta und Martin

Centrally located but noisy

Jose met us at the property and the communication with him was always timely. The unit is on the second floor (US) or first floor (EU) - clean. The kitchen holds the bare necessity but nothing extra for people that like to cook on the road. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom is upgraded and remodeled. You could hear people yelling and screaming after midnight and the cleaning cars early in the morning- if you are a light sleeper that maybe a problem but for us the great location of this condo compensated for the noise. We literally were 5 min walking to San Anton Market, and centrally located in Madrid - walking distance to East and West side of this beautiful city. The price was great. The only suggestion for the owner would be to equip the kitchen with more useful pots and pans and kitchen knives- people who use the VRBO mostly like to occasionally cook.

Excellent inside and outside

The apartment is located just at the western side of the Lavapies neighborhood which makes it very accessible to the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The interior is as pictured and very comfortably furnshed. José Antonio was very helpful when we had a problem with the Wifi. recommendations: Try the Taberna de Tirso de Molino, a lovely taste of Paris in Madrid and only a hundred metres away, and use the 26 bus to the Paseo del Prado (get off before the Paseo). You will be one block´s walk from the Reina Sofia Museum.

Great Apartment!!

This apartment is in a good location close to the Metro and walkable to most sites. It is clean, good size and well equipped. Jose is a good host and always reachable. We enjoyed our six night stay. Two 70 plus seniors
